Can't believe this isn't a solid 5 stars yet! This publication is pretty amazing. If you are new to…read moretown, you need to immediately start looking out for where all near your house supplies the LEO each week. Social planning? Done. They always cover and share unique and fun events and even the ads tend to be spot on. It makes it easy to be in the know. Beyond that, there are lots of talented writers, whether you want to catch topical stories or funny/quirky blogs like the Bar Belle. Who doesn't like knowing about bars and funny drunken texts? Not to mention this news magazine is free. Yup - free. And pretty easy to find. Coffee shops, restaurants, liquor stores, and on and on. Pick it up and get your enlightenment on.

I can't believe it's been over 2 years since anyone reviewed Leo. It's still going strong. It was…read morerecently purchased by Aaron Yarmuth, son of Leo founder John Yarmuth, (now Congressman John Yarmuth). And his first order of business was to lay off a good portion of Leo's senior staff, (including "The Bar Belle" Sara Havens on the exact day of her 15 year anniversary with Leo). And causing 2 more of their senior staff to walk over contract disputes. But in spite of that, it's still coming out weekly and filled with almost all of the content you've come to know and love, minus a few columns obviously. Need to know what band is playing where? They got you covered. Need to know restaurant suggestions? They got you covered. Need to know what's going on in KY politics? Covered. Reviews of some of the latest dvd releases? Covered. Need to read letters from people bitching at other people in response to the letters they wrote to other people bitching at people in response to people who wrote letters to other people bitching, ad nauseam? Leo certainly has you covered. In addition there are also many well written and thought-provoking stories regarding, well, pretty much anything Louisville or KY related. And let's not forget the real reason we Louisvillians and Southern Indianans, (them dang Hoosiers), pick this up each and every week, News of the Weird and Savage Love columns! A great way to show out of staters that not all of KY is the stereotypical toothless redneck hicks the rest of the country seems to think we are. And yes, please notice I said not all of KY. Anyway it's free. Why the hell would you not pick it up? Makes for a great morning read while eating your Fruity Pebbles anyway.

CIA, LLC has a bit of work to do in the professionalism department…read more They will take your case if it happens to garner sufficient publicity-- and in turn, "dough", but they are not reliable. They lack genuineness, and fail to muster the effort to give a rat's ass about your true needs. ...that is-- if they even remember your name. The owner prefers to take cases that shine a positive light directly on his company, whether he is successful in his work, or not-- he goes out of his way to play with the public's emotions, strings others along with artificial concern and false promises, uses ignorance and oblivion to his advantage, and maintains an almost flawless public guise masking private indifference. He has managed to perfect the art of employing just enough luster (though, the design of the company website could use some work...) as he wiles clients into various publicity stunts and endeavors to meet his goal of keeping them in fairy tale land for as long as possible. When he is tired of the omitting the full truth, playing charades, and/or has purposefully misled his clients about his intentions for a time period long enough that a blind chicken could spot his utter disregard for his clients-- he will simply find a way to ensure his slate is wiped clean, whether it be dismissing the work, or a slow, dim recoil. I ADVISE YOU TO EXERCISE EXTREME CAUTION AND READ ANYTHING YOU ARE ASKED TO SIGN WITH GREAT CARE. Among the many ways that CIA, LLC lacks common courtesy and professional conduct-- instead of expressing that they are averse to or unwilling to continue engaging or commit in the first place, they will go so far as to cut off all contact, they will slowly become more inconsistent and unreliable, act uneasy, and possibly throw the notion of respectful communication to the wind, entirely. The owner's integrity cannot be trusted. He is not in business to cater to your needs, he wants your money-- oh, and everyone else's money along with it... ...that heartfelt care you are shown is not what it is purported to be, and in my opinion he is unqualified for his "true job". The owner is a successful and enduring charlatan-- but I have not seen any evidence of his capacity to succeed as an investigator. I do not recommend CIA, LLC, and will continue to keep their past, present, and future clients in my nightly prayers. God bless.
