A lot of my friends haven't heard of a Guinea Pig living so long! I take excellent care of him, thankfully he has been a healthy Guinea Pig. Snickers has outlived our family dogs. He's still happy, healthy and playing with his toys, he's a very happy piggy! Before I adopted Snickers, I bought lots of goldfish and aquarium supplies at this store years ago, everyone was very helpful and took good care of the pets. There was a PetSmart in Philly, and I wish that spent more time with the small pets. I have better memories of this store!!! Here's a photo of Snickers! So glad that he's living a happy life!

He acts like he can be lazy and get smart with the customers when this is a business. I called just now to ask if they had the hard blue dog pool, he said they stock them in different colors that I can see which colors they had when I got there. Unfortunately I had to call back because I didn't want to drive there for the blue pool & they didn't have it. I called back got Rich again, asked if I can speak to someone who can tell me if something specific was in stock. He told me, that's not what we do here, you order online and we pick it and that's how you find out. I have an only store gift card so I told him I wanted to pick it up and needed to know if they had it. (What horrible customer service, he could have just checked the first time instead of making it so hard) so then he tells me, I have to walk all the way to the front, just to tell you if we have the blue pool in stock? I couldn't believe it, I can't believe that he's a manager or even has a job there. He eventually told me they had it and that he's the manager. Last time I placed an online order but had to pick it up a little earlier because I had to leave work and spoke to him, asking if I can get my order sooner that I'm on my way? He told me no, I had to wait for the email. When I picked up the order and he grabbed the frozen fog food, he looked down mad. I'm definitely making a complaint to corporate. Too many nice people deserve a job that he obviously hates.

Now if I were to leave stars for the store staff, specifically the cashiers, it would be ZERO. Stood at a cashier stand for a couple of minutes, no one was there to help me. One team member was at the end of an aisle (in view of the checkstands) stacking something onto a shelf. After a couple of minutes I cleared my throat and she noticed me. Instead of coming over to help me, she said "I'll be right with you" and then RETURNED TO STACKING THE SHELF. So much for taking care of the customer, huh? So I continued to stand there - eventually another team member came around the corner and helped me (yeah, she was still stacking when he did). In today's day and age, serving the customer is what it is all about. I can get pet supplies exactly the same and in some cases cheaper using Chewy.com (free delivery too) - so I will continue to bring my dog to grooming as that team is terrific, but don't expect me to buy a single can of dog food from a place that trains team members to finish a stacking job before helping a customer. I don't believe in rewarding that with my patronage.

After I initially emailed them, I received a timely response from the owner, Walt, who setup a complimentary consultation with me. He arrived on time at my apartment, met my pugs, discussed his business and my future needs, then left me with paperwork to complete before the first dog-sitting visit. He was nice and professional. His company is also insured, so that was a bonus during my decision-making process. Walt has over a dozen employees who do dog walking/sitting, and I was assigned Kerryann who has been wonderful! I loved that I had a dedicated dog walker instead of getting a different person each time. Make sure you schedule services in as far advance as possible because they do book up. If you're a last minute person, or just knowing that sometimes things come up last minute, it may be a good idea to have a backup dog walker. That's what I did, and it worked well when unexpected trips or activities came up. Kerryann came to my apartment for a complimentary consultation as well! She watched my pugs many times when I took weekend and week-long trips back and forth to OK/TX for 6 months. She always sent me a daily text to let me know how the pugs have eaten along with their bathroom schedule (like who pooped and peed when, good detail for tracking). Sometimes she would send pictures! They are very flexible, so if you need plants watered, mail checked, daily dog pics (I didn't need them daily), that's all included with their visit fee. Their prices are comparable to local competitors ($20 for two dogs per visit), and I have thoroughly enjoyed working with the staff. I highly recommend if you need a trustworthy dog-sitter in the area!

After having the dog for over an hour in the van, he carried the dog back into the house DEAD!! This was a healthy dog that just got a clean bill of health one month before this grooming visit. There was no clear explanation as to what happened to the animal. At no point did this guy try to get the attention of my girlfriend to get her help even though he was parked 50 ft from the front door of her house, nor did he try to get the help of my girlfriend's friend who was working right outside the van in the driveway. This guy's services are still being offered on their website! This should NEVER have happened. Grooming businesses have a responsibility to pet owners to employ well-trained certified individuals to take care of people's beloved pets, not kill them due to irresponsibility and negligence!
