The now have a SIGN to the bathroom. The place is much better organized so you don't have to wander through the store to get to the bathroom. I was a Saturday morning, overcast and rainy so it wasn't very busy. I looked over all the fresh food options and really wanted some fried okra or squash but they don't serve it. I grabbed some chips and hit the road. Oh, Mr Lovitt wasn't working that day so I'll try to catch him next time.

Bathrooms were stocked and clean enough. Store had a decent variety for a convenience store and a whole added area with what looked like mostly farm supplies (like feed for horses, goats, etc.). They were selling hot food (looked mostly like fried chicken) that we didn't get so I can't speak to that, but for a small place it had a steady stream of customers that looked mostly/all local, so that's always a good sign. We got gas, a couple snacks, and used the bathroom. I'd stop here again if I'm the area!

If you run out of bread, soda, or cereal, it's easy to stop in here to pick it up. Oh and don't forget the snow globes and other touristy items you can't live without. I was going to give this place 3 stars, but it deserves an extra one for the great location! There are a few parking spots, but most of the patrons walk here. You know those coolers on wheels? Here's a great way to use one - roll on over to pick up a few cold ones and then roll on out to the beach!

His salad had a lot of chicken on it and they had several low fat dressings which surprised me. (If you know the south you know why I'm surprised at that.). This is in the middle of the road of a split highway, entry is easy for ingress. The staff sanitize their hands frequently and wear masks. They are so friendly, polite and helpful to all customers. At this site there are other stores as well as the gas station. I didn't notice any large truck stop type parking lot. It is just as easy to get out of the parking lot onto the highway, as iw was to enter it.

We were looking for some bottled water since our hotel didn't offer any. Great options of everything, lower prices, good customer service. Sure, it's touristy, but we need a bit of everything around!
