We stopped here on the way home from the beach. When you walk in, there's an awesome smell of boiled peanuts. Yum! Lots of freezer containers and one was filled with Blue Bell ice cream. Central mini stop is on a major highway in Lake City. It is a gas station plus. There are no pay at the pumps and more recently, they started taking credit cards. Here's the plus. They sell food and have tables inside where you can eat or you can take it to go. Most people looked like they got the fried chicken with two sides. I chose the hamburger box and Majordomo got a salad with chicken on it. A box includes your meat, coleslaw and one side. I ordered the tater tots. My hamburger was good and big. His salad had a lot of chicken on it and they had several low fat dressings which surprised me. (If you know the south you know why I'm surprised at that.). Now this isn't fast food so you might have to wait awhile unless you call your order in first. Would I come back? Whenever I visit my daughter I will. Yall have to try it. read more

Credit card surcharge that they do not advertise very well. Little notice on door I missed and small post where you pay that had something sitting on it. We got $254.00 in motorhome plus 3.9% surcharge. Also no pay at pump. read more

Only issue is the credit card surcharge. Food is great and worth stopping in to grab a quick bite.
