A/C doesn't work,, hottest room I've been in since the Caribbean. Box of tissues were obviously dropped in the toilet and the plastic cover just put over them ? Shower was a drizzle and of course the tub was very slow draining. Coffee cups offered in the lobby are pathetically tiny, coffee supplies were minimal and the staff at the front desk were busy staring at the computers. Non English speaking people very loud on my floor late into the night and very early in the morning, why do you have to do that ? Very rude. Bottom of the shower curtain was pure black mold , like really ??? Over $200 for this room ????? Never will stay in this hotel again, ruined my trip read more

This is a pretty bad Four Points. Infrastructure is falling apart (and it doesn't seem like that old of a building). Staff is confused / indifferent. Many services (Ie. Laundry) advertised are actually in another hotel. I would definitely look elsewhere for lodging in area. read more

We were very pleased with our stay here! Thanks to our status, we were able to check in early, which was a huge plus. The room was spotless, quiet, and incredibly comfortable--exactly what we needed after a long day of travel. The front desk staff were super helpful and welcoming, making everything smooth from check-in to check-out. We really appreciated the complimentary airport shuttle--our driver was so friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the ATM in the hotel wasn't working, so we couldn't leave a tip, which we felt terrible about--but we're very grateful for the service. We also had some fantastic drinks at the bar and ordered takeout from the hotel restaurant, which was delicious and convenient. Overall, it was a great experience and I would absolutely stay here again without hesitation. Highly recommended! Don't forget the spa IN the building! I've really enjoyed my stay in this hotel. The room was very comfortable and clean. They picked you up from the airport in a van that shows up like 15 min after you called them. I am not sure if I got free breakfast because of my status but it had a good variety. It is a Hot Buffet with scramble eggs, sausage and country potatoes, in the healthy side they have fruit salad, granola and yogurt. The service is polite and housekeeping not noisy if you want to sleep late. For the price, I rather stay here instead of the Courtyard or the Residence Inn if I am close to the Calgary airport. read more

4 stars for the room - clean, love the decor, beds were super comfortable, and the bathroom was nice 2.5/3 stars for the service - bathroom amenities were not replenished, staff was nice and seemed helpful but things didn't seem to work like they said. In particular we had some issues with the shuttle to and from the airport which were quite frustrating because we chose this hotel for the shuttle option. It's nice they give you water, but only one bottle in the room. And they give you only one drink voucher for the bar. If you just need a room, the price was right. read more

My group (3x adults 1x teen) stayed at Four Points by Sheraton Calgary Airport 9 to 16 July 2022 for the annual Calgary Stampede. Our room was very spacious, the four of us were very comfortable throughout our stay. The complimentary wifi was reliable and consistent, none of our devices (a mix of Android & Apple brands) had any problems accessing the wifi. There's a complimentary work station with internet and printer in the lobby, plus a free coffee/tea station. There was also a bottomless bowl of free apples! There's a little canteen adjacent to the reception desk, chips, pop, little packets of laundry detergent... but there's a Basha grocery store nearby, so don't buy anything here at hotel premium prices if you can help it, just walk over to Basha to purchase what you need, and there's a Canadian Superstore nearby as well. The in-hotel restaurant, Il Forno Fusion is amazing. The Alberta Beef Chuck Burger with Seafood Soup is delicious!!! Less than 300 metres away is a Tim Hortons and McDonalds too Two nearby bus stops connect you to the Calgary Transit system, which in turn connects you to the rest of the city. There's no need to rent a car unless you want to go into the suburbs to check out Calaway Park or try horseback riding. We also liked the soap / shampoo / conditioner dispensers in our bathroom, it's so much less wasteful than constantly throwing out half used tiny bars of soap and/or tiny bottles of shampoo/conditioner. They also put on a free pancake breakfast during the Calgary Stampede! We were very pleased with our experience staying here. Highly recommended! read more

This hotel is okay at best, it is very obvious the staff at the front as frazzled and stressed. The rooms are standard , they are clean which is a positive. No hair dryers in the rooms but they do have an iron. There is no where to get water except for the lobby which has been empty on almost every occasion I have tried to get some. The hot water for tea and coffee is always pretty sparse. They also do not have a first aide kit at the front desk.. was this the worst experience ? No! But mediocre for sure ! read more

If I could, I would not leave any star. My husband and I were not satisfied with our stay because the hotel's customer service was bad. I'm a Marriott Bonvoy member and we stayed many nights with four points but we were not satisfied with this location at all. The room was smelly, the toilet was not working properly, and coffee was never ready when we went down in the morning. I brought it up to the manager there and I had asked a lady and a guy working at the front desk for help with our room but nothing was done. We even got a noise complaint and a threat to call the cops because my baby was crying, like are you kidding? He's a BABY who woke up in the middle of the night!!! The doors between our room and the room next to us have a big gap underneath. Will not be going back there for sure. read more

This hotel is geared towards a business traveler since it's close to the airport. The location appears to be in an industrial area, but have no fear. There are plenty of places to eat in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. There's a grocery store nearby, a couple of shopping malls within a mile, Tim Horton's,a 24 hour McDonald's and several asian restaurants. The lobby is very modern, and the beds are soft and comfortable. I got a room with an extra queen size bed with lots of extra pillows, always a bonus in my book. The rooms are new with LG Flat screen TVs, complimentary wifi, fridge and a microwave. They also have a 24 hour Business Centre, a Salon/Spa, a nice 24 hour fitness centre, indoor heated pool, sauna and steam room. Overall, a fabulous modern hotel. Stayed in four points for 2 weeks during a business trip of my husband. I really liked the entrance area of the hotel with antiques placed. Rooms are spacious enough. In every room there is iHome for enhanced experience of guests. You get a pass for complimentary breakfast and if you skip the breakfast then you don't need to worry because you can use that card to get credit in á la carte menu on the same day. Also, i really admire the Make-a-green-choice initiative of them to reduce the environmental footprint. Under this program, you can reward yourself with $5 voucher or 258 starpoints for each night. You just have to hang the Make a green choice hanger outside of your room before 2am and that means you decline all the housekeeping services for that day. If you don't want to collect starpoints against that voucher then you can use it in the hotel's restaurant to buy delicious food for you. read more

We came on a Sunday for the Kids eat free deal. With each adult entree, kids under 10 get a free meal. Not a bad deal so I thought why not! Glad we did! I had the Halibut with a spinach salad. Both items were well prepared. My salad was particularly delish with beets, pecans and goat cheese. Loved it! They even use homemade tartar. The kids meals were massive. This is a very good Four Points - we stayed two nights on our way out of town. We had stayed earlier in the trip at the Four Points Calgary West and that was a disaster but this place was great. The Gold upgrade King suite room was very nice and the staff super friendly. And it is only a 15 minute drive to the airport (very early morning traffic on a holiday). This was the shabbiest hotel we have ever stayed in. The rooms have very cheap furniture, bench missing buttons, wood desk, it actually was only a table that was chipped and gouged, all doors chipped and scratched, mold in shower. I wouldn't even take a shower. We even had the King Deluxe Suite!!!! We visited the restaurant for early Happy Hour at 4pm. Two women started cleaning tables and chairs spraying disinfectant around people who had food at their tables. The cleaners were told to leave. Morning breakfast food was cool and dry. I had cereal and finally figured out the "funny taste" was sour milk!!!! No wonder, the bottle was not on ice, just sitting in a container on the counter!!!! I would guess very old or sat out all night. The waitress apologized, but so upset I didn't care. Run don't walk away from this horrible Hotel. Shame on Marriott. read more

I have stayed here many times now. This time 3nights in a row. I really enjoy this hotel. Rooms are big and clean. Beds are soft and squishy. Big screen TV with tons of channels. Coffee maker in the room ,plus fridge and micro wave. They even have free bottled water and free wi fi. A few good places all around. Restaurant in the hotel is also quite good. There is a little shop in the lobby that sells this and that. They even provide free apples in lobby. It is a nice place and I really enjoy coming back here all the time. If you ever need a place to stay in Calgary, this is it. read more

BEWARE I bookED the honeymoon suite for my anniversary and was told that they would specifically have it ready for me upon arrival, upon check-in he told me that he gave the room to somebody else and that either I could take what they have or choose a different hotel. Not to mention the room was dirty falling apart and the elevator was out of service & you couldn't rent a movie. I was completely taken back by the extreme rude customer service I had just experienced upon checking in. I was told I could contact the manager the next day which I did, the general manager was rude didn't care about my concern and told me that he was now going to ban me from ever coming there again any other Marriott hotels. The worst part is he accused me and made a very harsh false accusation against me that was completely unfounded and uncalled for and unprofessional. This is the place is now the standard that all airport hotels in area will judged against. It is clearly focused on business travellers, but we loved it for a family getaway weekend. Quick check-in, large very clean rooms with great beds and TVs. It's very new and the decor is ultra modern -- no drawers just baskets in cubby holes. I loved the room layout with the long desk, office chair and good wi-fi for getting work done. Also had a nice easy chair with ottoman and a pullout table to eat room service on. The bathroom is bright white with a great vanity. In the armoire was a small fridge, microwave, safe that held my laptop, ironing board and iron and lots of hangers including skirt and pant hangers. Ric's Grill was the best airport hotel restaurant I've eaten in for years. Kids buffet for breakfast was around $8, adult $12 to 14. Only two minor concerns: pool was small, and the above ground parking did not appear to have plug-ins. There is is underground parking too, but we didn't use it. All in all, a great place. read more

This is a great hotel if you're staying the Calgary area and do not want to stay downtown. It was kinda a hike from the airport ($30 cab fare) but I think because the main access road was closed due to construction when I was there. Other than that its a newer hotel and has a great atmosphere and great rooms. The hotel was in a central location to where all of our meetings were around the city so I think this is a good choice for business travelers. I've never given a raving review of an airport hotel before, but here goes the first. On check in, my wife and I requested a single bed because this was the last night of our 2nd anniversary trip. The friendly staff not only obliged, but upgraded us to a King Suite. We went out to dinner and on return, we found a bottle of champagne, chocolate-covered strawberries, and a hand-written note congratulating us. I have to admit, when I first pulled into their parking lot and saw all the construction right next door I was worried about the noise... However I didn't hear a thing! The front desk girls were very polite and helpful. I went down to the spa at 7:02 and asked if I could get the hour massage and was told they closed at 8. I asked what their point was, I can get naked quick... Let's go (my back was killing me after the long drive), so into the room I went. Deanna did give an average massage but it was obvious she didn't want to talk and would rather not be giving a massage. After it was over, it was 8:03 when I came out of the room and she was on her phone texting as that was more important that common courtesy or even etiquette. From there I went down and had supper at Ric's grill. The food was fast and really good. I was surprised that kids were in the restaurant, but whatever. The rooms were clean, housekeeping did a great job everyday and the beds were comfy. The reason for 4 stars and not 5... The fact that you built a hotel in Calgary (which is full of trucks), yet most of your parking accommodates cars or small vehicles only. I promised my friends I would Yelp about it. Here we go... I'm Yelping about it. I've never actually stayed in the hotel rooms at the Four Points Sheraton by the Calgary Airport, but I've been here for a wedding and a business function. The lobby and conference rooms are quite modern clean. I'd imagine the rooms would be similar. First, I should note that the wedding I was at last year was far from dry. I had a lot of drinks before the dinner even started, so my overall experience was a very pleasant one. I remember the staff being very friendly and even giving me drink tickets when I probably wasn't supposed to have them. The second time around was during the first weekend of September. The staff were friendly and attentive, but there were so many problems with the catering. They tried their best to accommodate the vegetarians in the room, but they somehow managed to serve a vegetarian a salad with fish. They shouldn't have assumed that she eats fish. Moreover, they didn't have a good system in place to find the vegetarian guests so the servers were running around creating a bit of confusion and chaos. Lunch was delayed for about 15 minutes for half of our conference goers because they ran out of burger patties, salad, yam fries and spicy mayo. That was awkward for the rest of us who were eating. Overall, the venue was a solid three stars. Despite the large parking lot, there wasn't enough parking up front so people had to find other places around the hotel to park. There's nothing that really makes this venue stand out for me. As a hotel, it's very clean and the service is good. I would recommend this as a good place to stay for people looking to stay near the airport, but there's not much around it. read more

Check-in was fast and painless, the rooms were spacious, modern, and comfortable, and the in-hotel restaurant (Ric's Grill) was decent. The hotel restaurant was overly air-conditioned, so it was a little uncomfortable - the waiters said this was under the hotel's control, not theirs. Checking out, I was told I had accidentally booked (and paid for) leaving my car in the hotel parking lot, thinking this was needed to be able to park while staying at the hotel. They just said "don't worry about it" when they understood what had happened, but there was no offer to refund this portion of my room rate. Wasn't a lot of money, but it would have been nice if they had at least offered me a credit or something. I would stay here again, but I would make sure I book the right room rate this time, and I would book more in advance (I watched the price go up twice in the days before I booked) to receive a lower rate. read more

This hotel is great, clean rooms, all the travel amenities you require, a fantastic gym & pool, friendly staff, a little snack shop beside the front desk, restaurant on site and one of my favourite hotel perks is real coffee in the lobby at 4 am ! I love staying at this hotel. The front desk is always professional and friendly. There is a nice lounge (Rics Grill ) adjacent to the lobby. They have a number of computers with printers for the guests to use as well. Perfect for me as I am always here for business. The rooms are terrific. The beds are very comfortable; even more so than hotels that cost 3X the price per night. I am very impressed with this hotel overall. Certain nights (particularly Monday) can be a lot more than later in the week. They have a very broad pricing structure. Could be anywhere from $99 to $249 base price depending on the time of year and day of the week. As with most hotels, the further in advance you book the cheaper it will be. And booking is recommended as there has been a few times I came here without a reservation only to find out they were sold out for the night. Not their fault, just shows that this hotel is quite popular, so plan ahead if you can. read more

I I loved this place. Like a gracious, aging beauty. It does a heart good to have a clean room, comfortable bed, and friendly staff. But, like most places, it wasn't with out problems. I forgive them that, though, because construction next door (not their fault) and no vending except a small store downstairs, so I had to go to three floors to find a working ice machine. The price was good and I will be recommending this to friends. Once caveat--it's touted as being by the airport but is actually 8+ miles away. But I noticed the motels close to the airport had no access to restaurants, stores, etc. Choose what is important to you, traveler. read more

This is one of my favorite crew hotels where I work. The hotel is very new, and very modern. The rooms are huge and well stocked with nice Sheraton amenities. The beds are very comfortable and have lots of pillows and blankets. There are a lot of places to eat within walking distance, and there are a few shopping malls about a 3/4 mile walk from the hotel. Very nice staff working, nice prompt shuttle service to and from the Calgary Airport. read more

Stayed here on a quick visit to Calgary. Staff was very pleasant helping me out several times. The hotel structure itself could use a little upkeep. There are many stains on the carpet and a lot of nicks in the walls. I suspect a high traffic hotel with varying weather conditions outside. The fireplace in the lobby is nice as the draft from the doors to the outside is nasty. Ric's grill is attached and we had a great take out meal there. This hotel is great for a quick layover but a longer stay might be disappointing...... read more

Party going on in the lobby, passed out guy by the elevator, beer bottles lying around...seems like a good wedding. Check in, no kings available...that bugs me as I had prepaid and I think it was 20 bucks more than the queen. Room had a lot of hair on the carpet and a few in the bath room. Do NOT book your wedding with Four Points by Sheraton CALGARY AIRPORT location. Please see issues below: Please note, I have changed the catering manager's name to "Tina." 1. I had met with "Tina" about 4 times in person before our wedding day, and EVERY SINGLE time she was late 15 OR MORE MINUTES. I then decided to bring it up with management because I thought this was very unprofessional, so I had called and left a message with management to call me back regarding "Tina," and they then told "Tina" I had called about her and she called me back and aggressively tried to give excuses about why she was late, etc. etc. From that day, I was tempted to change venues, but chose not to - that is a decision that I now regret. Because of this issue I now had with "Tina" and Four Points management, I was expecting and afraid of a few mishaps to happen during the day. I'm not suggesting that these things were done on purpose, but from the very beginning, I have noticed the Four Points has been unprofessional and unreliable. 2. Our head table as discussed with Four Points was to be two-tiered and "V-shaped". The front 'V' had 4 people and was on risers, and then the back 'V' had 6 people and was on higher risers. The front 'V' should've been a foot up higher than it was - our food was placed so far down that it was hard to eat. Also, our chairs were in a dangerous position, that if we moved our chair forward, even by an INCH, the front legs of the chairs would've fallen under the table, therefore we would've fallen as well. I mentioned how impractical the table was to my wedding planner the night before the event, and she told me that Four Points stated that I had approved these tables. I approved the location/layout of the tables only, not the height of the tables. I assumed the tables that were suggested to me would be ample space for us, our chairs, and the table. 3. Our dessert for the guests after dinner was Crème Brulee, and a handful of them were SALTY. My wedding planners brought this issue up with the catering manager that night, and they told me her reaction to the salted crème brulee was laughing at the issue. They were also very upset with how unprofessional that reaction was. 4. There were no side plates for the rolls, so guests had to cut and butter his/her rolls either on their mugs or the actual table. I had friends post pictures on Facebook about how awkward it was to not be able to put their bread anywhere. 5. There weren't any water jugs on the table during dinner, I believe jugs were only put on the tables after dinner, and there weren't any clean glasses for guests to pour water in. The groom and I were quite thirsty the whole night as well. You'd think a glass of water would be easily accessible - someone had to search the whole room for a clean glass for me. On our contract with Four Points, I had specifically asked for a water jug on each table, which they did not do. 6. The microphone system wasn't working - one would think the venue would test this out for an event beforehand. 7. THEY CUT THE TOP TIER OF THE CAKE as serving for the guests! I'm sure everybody knows that the very top layer of the cake is saved for the Bride and Groom's first-year anniversary, and now because of the lack of common sense/knowledge of whoever was in charge of cutting the cake, my husband and I do not have that top layer next November for that tradition. At the end of the night, we were given the two bottom (very large) layers to take home. This was a nuisance to take home - all I wanted was that top layer. 8. We had to wait in front of all the guests during the cake cutting tradition, because there weren't any cake cutting utensils to cut the cake with. We were then given a knife, and Dave and I served each other our cake with our fingers because a plate and fork wasn't given to us So as you can see, I am still very upset with some of the performances of the Four Points staff.I do want to commend the serving staff - they were wonderful, and I am so thankful that at least that part of the wedding night I didn't have to worry about. We had an extremely bad experience with this hotel. We booked our room in expeida, and have all confirmation emails. But the front desk claimed she could not find our reservations and asked us rudely to stay aside so that she can serve the people after us. But have used Expedia and booked more than 50 hotels around the world. The hotel itself has problems in its system, but claimed it is the customer' fault? And asked the customer to stay aside? The service is really bad here, so as the hotels system. Their manager Braydon K came and threatened us to either give him more info to let he help us or stay in the lobby forever. Then he went back to his personal computer to pull the customer info for Expedia booking, and blamed Expedia is always scamming and didn't push the data to the hotel. Excuse me????? Threatening the customer???? Do not expect customer to book hotel through third party website?????? Personal computer?? Combing other reviews in Google, I would worry about the personal info and privacy when registered with this hotel. read more

Good bargain here. Hotel is clean, with a good gym. Restaurant is a little pricey but is also clean and an extensive menu. I'm not a huge fan of the location as there aren't other restaurants to walk to that are close, but that's definitely not a deal breaker. read more
