When she got off - she was really sick coughing everywhere, most times not covering her mouth & when she did it was with her hand, then continued to touch everything. We had Four Sisters cater a reception at our house after my Father In Law's funeral. We had their salad with strawberries, their beef and mashed potatoes, a mixed vegetable dish, a chicken and pasta dish and assorted desserts. So there were offerings for meat eaters, vegetarians and gluten free diets. Everything was delicious. The food was hot and flavorful but not dry. Many guests complimented the food. The servers were efficient and polite. They cleaned up everything afterwards. Prices were reasonable. One of the owners was there to make sure everything went smoothly. Amazing! We decided for our Thanksgiving to be catered by Four Sisters Catering. We had heard positive feedback from others so we had to experience. Even with all the positive reviews I was hesitant. When we open the foil containers it all seemed small for 8 adults and I was worried. We followed the directions to heat all the dishes and when tasted it all .. WOW WOW WOW!!! Four Sisters absolutely amazed me! Everyone had two full plates of the delicious Thanksgiving dinner and there were still left overs. There is not an specific item I loved the most because all dishes were Superb. Highly recommend. For our entire married life, plus a few years, I have heard my husband RAVE about a sandwich/pizza shop that used to be in Houston off of Gessner called Yamins. He worked at K-Mart back in the late 70s and he would walk through the parking lot of an auto dealership and go to Yamins frequently. I started googling Yamins to see if I could find out what kind of sandwich it was. My search linked me to Four Sisters Catering in San Antonio. We now live in the San Antonio area! When I started reading, one of the Four Sisters family members had opened the Houston Yamins! As I read the catering menu, 4 Sisters had the Orginal Yamin sandwich on their list of catered foods! So, for his birthday, I was able to order sandwiches that he had RAVED about for 46 years! He enjoyed the heck out of those sandwiches and enjoyed reminiscing! I even left three voicemails and texted the number on the website. I wish they wouldn't have taken as long. Months ago, I flew to Texas and met with Tiffiani Yamin of Four Sisters catering among others to consider for my son's welcome dinner/rehearsal dinner and I am so glad I did! I immediately felt that Tiffiani was excited to create a meal and a setting that would reflect my wishes. She was so easy to work with and when one is doing this long distance, that is vital! Yes things go wrong which from what I hear about weddings, is always the case. I ordered wine which, to be clear, was my respondsibility, not Tiffiani"s, and it was sent to the wrong venue. (They delivered the wine but it was very last minute and a bit anxiety producing). The linens were for round tables not rectangular ones but Four Sisters problem solved and moved on making the event spectacular.The only reason I even mention that things can and often do go wrong, is that is exactly when you need to have caterers that fix things seamlessly helping you enjoy the event knowing you are in good hands. The food was awesome! We went with an Italian theme and for mains had both vegetarian and meat lasagna and this was no Stouffer's to be sure! The antipasto appetizers included an artichoke dish that was out of this world! The cannoli and tirsmisu were a perfect ending. But that is not all. Tiffiani and the crew at Four Sisters also put together lovely centerpieces that set the stage for a great event. Is it the heat? We were planning a party for a family member in Texas. Since I was in charge of food, I asked around about which catering company could handle a small house party during the wedding season. EVERYONE said go to 4 Sisters...they'll take care of you! I called the company mid-April and spoke with one of the sisters. On the phone, we discussed everything from the size of the party to suggestions about the menu. I should have picked up on the disdain in her voice when we talked about the size of the party. I told her I would be flying to Texas and we set a date to meet so that we could lock the menu. On the day of our appointment, I showed up excited and ready to plan the menu. Although I arrived early, I didn't think anything of the locked door since their was an employee working in the kitchen. I sat down and waited. After the appointment time came and went and went some more, the employee became concerned. He asked if I was sure I had a meeting (I had & had flown more than 1200 miles to keep it); then called the sister to let her know her appointment was waiting. The employee & I called the sister, and to her credit, she was at the shop in minutes. I don't know why she wasted my time. She should have stayed home or wherever she was, and let me get on to my next appointment. I began explaining the theme, and she froze. Our party was island themed. She stated that she thought we had the menu (the pasta dish she suggested) and that this was not her forte (her website mentioned some of the other dishes that I was interested in), but she would not let me talk. Even her sister (or I think it was her sister) interjected to explain the type of food and spice they could make/use in the menu. (How come I didn't get this sister!). She went online and gave me the name of a restautant that (these are her words) she didn't know about and was in a rougher part of town (I guess I look like I could handle the rougher part of town). She even asked if I use Yelp. (Yep!) I took whatever paper she was shoving at me, and ran from that business! Tip: If your business is overbooked, just say it so I can get on with my life. If not, you end up wasting my valuable time, and I feel even more cheated by your unprofessional conduct! read more

I recently used Four Sisters Catering to provide the food for my husband's 60th birthday. I had seen their online reviews, which were all excellent, so I called Tiffini (Sister #2) and discussed menu options. Mom is the chef, and her culinary roots are from both Lebanon and Louisiana, and the menu choices reflected that. Foodies that we are, I knew I'd found the right caterer. Tiffini was very helpful and reworked the menu for me several times until it felt right. She also found mariachis to come play that evening, which I'd been unable to do, and they were outstanding as well. As luck would have it, Tiffini fell in her kitchen the morning of the party, breaking her foot, and called. She said not to worry, that everything was ready and looked beautiful and she would send her sister Nicole (Sister #3) in her place and would be checking in with her all evening, which she did, broken foot and all. Nicole and Trevor arrived an hour or so before the party and had everything set up before the first guests arrived. They worked quietly behind the scene refilling platters all evening. The food was spectacular; everything was fresh, colorful, and just delicious. It was beautifully presented and it tasted as good as it looked. The kitchen was clean when they left and we enjoyed a few leftovers for the next couple of days. I ordered Thanksgiving dinner from Four Sisters Catering and it was FABULOUS!! We celebrated early this year and since I work full time and we were celebrating on a work night I didn't have time to cook. I emailed Tiffany and she was extremely helpful. I ordered food for 8 people and we had enough for 12 very full plates. Everything was homemade and fresh. The turkey was moist, the greenbean caserole had fresh greenbeans (not canned!), the mashed potatoes were amazing and the sweet potatoes were seriously the best I've ever had!! (I added more marshmallows because my kids love that part) Thanksgiving is my favorite meal of the year and I am very picky. Four Sisters Thanksgiving dinner was awesome and I will definitely be ordering from them again for Christmas dinner. Oh, and the kitchen is spotlessly clean. I explained what I wanted and immediately Tiffini knew exactly which way to go. She Made suggestions that were really on point with the theme of our wedding ( A Paris Theme). It's also great that her mom Michelle ( the chef) is french trained. I would go online to other catering websites and oddly they wouldn't have prices next to their items, like they are trying to reel you in and then surprise you at the end with how much you've spent. Also a big one here. I have many older family members coming and they have dietary restrictions. So it really helped that they can do sodium free, gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian meals as well so no one feels left out. I wanted everyone to enjoy that day with me along with great food in their bellies and Four Sister's Catering did not disappoint.
