They made the wedding of my dreams come true. The food was beyond wonderful and to this day we cannot go a few days without someone commenting on the quality of the food and the cake! Let me just say that the most important this to my husband and I was food, photography and venue (in that order) and Page Barteau Catering was the best choice to make sure those needs were met! Just know that Britany is wonder woman and she will make sure whatever you need and want will happen. She worked with us every step of the way, being so patient and accommodating to my family even though we were planning from Dallas and could usually only meet on weekends (which is when they are doing their catering). They made sure that every detail of the wedding was pinned down. We used them for everything we could: Bar Service, Food and Cake. Bar Service: 5 out of 5 stars We had a full bar and signature drinks and we are also still getting compliments on our signature drinks. We went with Grapefruit Rickey and a Frozen Marg and both were out of this world! Not to mention the staff was incredibly professional and sweet. -- Catering: 10 out of 5 stars Our food was the best part of our wedding (besides the dancing). We had a vision for a New England type wedding and menu and boy did they deliver. We had lobster rolls, steamed potato/corn/prawn bags, and for apps we even had a raw oyster bar! Lily and Margarita served us that evening and were an absolute joy to interact with. Their presentation was beautiful, food always fresh and they were always present and of service to our guests. We started with a traditional ceasar salad which was tasty. We then progressed to their Filet Diane, a peppercorn crusted filet topped with mushrooms . For the sides they provided their ginger honey glazed carrots and mashed potatoes which featured a lemon oregano vinaigrette. The carrots were tender and sweet and made a great flavor offset to the beef and the lemon addition (something I would never think to do) provided a delicious and unique twist to the potatoes. The team working the event was prompt in their attention to detail and removing and setting new plates in between courses and were able to do so without disrupting the flow of the event. We came to the decision of chicken piccata.. when it was served to us it was breaded with plenty of sauce and just perfectly tender chicken. I was super confident that they would be able to deliver that same quality of food for my wedding day. They were on time and professional but the quality of the food was nowhere near what we tasted. A few of my uncles said they couldn't cut their chicken with a knife.. and therefore did not eat. My mother-in-law was super intent on having coffee served so we got the add on of the coffee service. No one was offered coffee, when she asked for a cup it was delivered to her with no creamer, sugar nor a spoon. My chicken was fairly tough as well. I never got a salad which really would've helped me on my day to have something to eat since the chicken was not very good.
