When the agent complains about coming all the way from Orlando to show your home You know why no one is coming around for 3 months . When you don't show my mobile for three months because you are waiting for a buyer to get approval from the park. I know it doesn't take 3 months to get approved and having us to sign a contract without a deposit. Then they don't show our home for 3 months ? This doesn't sound like she has our best (the seller) interest in hand . Maybe for the buyer they look out for Supposedly she has 15 year experience . She should know better. Pam Hollingsworth was the realtor that sold the house. She lied and said that the appliances were all brand new, the house had been cleaned, etc. My elderly mother bought the house, and let's just say it has taken over two weeks to clean all of the mold, repair the "brand new appliances" from 2008-2014, and get the house livable. I think she turned off the air conditioner once the house was sold. It took about 3 to 4 weeks for closing, and so much mold had grown. In addition, she was more worried about putting pictures on her phone, than answering questions about the house. read more

The agent that we worked with was unprofessional. Texting at all hours of the night. He told us not to tell the park that we had a cat. So if he is telling us to lie, what lies is he telling us? We asked for the 2k deposit back back which he said we wouldn't get back. He even had the owner email us. We didn't respond to the owner's email bc I really didn't want to tell the owner what I thought of the agent. He was a bully. I have his texts still. We still would like a portion of our deposit back. I would never ever do business with this company ever again. Sold my mom a mobile home they knew was underwater in Ian and had no vapor barrier. This hurricane we were hit again. No one told us mobile homes are sold by car sales people, not real estate agents, so the transaction is not subject to ANY real estate laws. The home inspector did not report anything about the underside to us and the broker who referred him didn't point anything out to us. Our only resort is small claims court and checking on their history, they fight and win every case based on that exemption. I would love to sell mobile homes and not be responsible for ANYTHING. This entire industry needs to have a class action suit brought against it for omissions. Most mobile home buyers are seniors with little money. No one is required to tell you anything about any problems. There is seriously something wrong here. read more

This company is full of liars that practice deceitful practices. I was told that I they had a full approval from a buyer for my home only to find out after 45 days off the market, me moving out and having the home professionally cleaned to find out that is was NOT a full approval. It was a contingent approval and it could be another couple of months before the buyer could provide the needed documents. Don't trust what they say unless you see it in person. We worked with Kathy Clifton and would never recommend her to sell your home. She put little to no effort into getting our home sold. We never saw any offer, had very little communication unless we reached out to her. We were not living in the home at the time and our water and electric were turned off for months before we found out even though Kathy said she was in the home and showing it. Clearly that was false. She could have created more damage then assistance. She only wanted to have Four Star buy the home from us and not put any effort into selling it. This organization is nothing but a big scam. Starting with the agent terry who was sending text messages like an 11-year-old. Using a UR instead of addressing us with WIOU. They never told us it was in a park that is 55 or older, so our 23 year old son could not spend the night there without one of us being there. When I called the inspector, they told me that this organization used to be OK, but has simply fallen off the rails and I have experienced nothing good from them. She doesn't treat you any differently, whether you're spending $40,000 or $240,000. She treated me with dignity and respect and found me something really cute that was still in my price range. She was patient, kind and understanding Michelle did not pressure me in any way; but was always available to answer questions or let me in for another look or help me find an insurance agent. The home is a utter disaster with multiple major issues. However there is always that pesky As-Is clause. Fine. I have to say though, selling me a home advertised as a 1985 and also reflected in the Sales Agreement for a 1975 unit is far beyond As-Is. It's purely deceptive and unethical. Mike and Irma Reed acted like vultures when my dad came home from the hospital on hospice care with only days to live. As my dad was enjoying his last trip outdoors they stopped by for an unannounced social call. They had been called within the last month to discuss the upcoming listing on my parents home in Plantation Oaks but were told that I would contact them when the time was appropriate. They showed up for a visit on his last time outside and ruined what was an intimate family time. Agree with Steve S. They demanded a down payment before inspection. The inspection showed too many problems so I didn't want to buy. They said if I didn't purchase it I would lose my down payment. After I said the state DA would be interested in this business practice, they gave me my money back but kept telling me I was making a mistake to pass on the place. They also said I had to pay them $1000 on top of the commission from the seller if I buy a place from them. read more

Agree with all reviews. THE WORST!!!!! LIST WITH ZILLLOW by owner. Wonderful. No charge. I listed with four star for 1 yr. have listing on Zillow for 1 mo and have showed more times then they did in a year. Contract ended around first of January still have not picked up lock box or sign. When it was shown, maybe 5 times in a year, they try to get you sell for a lot less. I would never recommend them to anyone and I would tell them to run. I could go on with other issues but won't.
