As a homeowner who entrusted my property to Ponce Inlet Realty, I am deeply disappointed and frustrated by the entire experience. From the outset, their promises of professional management and high occupancy rates proved to be nothing more than empty assurances. I got one 6-month rental agreement over an 18-month period. The management of my property was subpar at best. Despite assurances of regular (quarterly) inspections and upkeep, we received no communication of this actually occurring. Further, family members who came after the 6-month rental ended found a very dirty and dog-hair filled home and fleas after it was "deep cleaned" as arranged by Ponce Inlet Realty. Further, the rugs and furniture were also covered in dog hair. The cleanliness standards were shockingly low, and after numerous complaints, and where Ponce Inlet Realty agreed the cleaning was sub-par, they still declined to reimburse us for the cleanings we had to have done. I strongly caution any prospective homeowners against entrusting their properties to Ponce Inlet Realty, as they have proven themselves incapable of providing the level of service and care that homeowners rightfully expect and deserve. We rented a 2 bd condo for 7 days at Oceans Terrace. The condo was adequate and well appointed, but could use some freshening up like new bedding, paint, new blinds, new/cleaned carpet, deep cleaning, etc. However, the big issue was that there was no wifi in the unit, even though our listing said there was free wifi. Apparently, the owner of the condo, removed the equipment and failed to let the Ponce Inlet Realty know. They were unable to provide us with any backup wifi options other than to use the office wifi on the first floor, which was not suitable for us. We asked for some kind of refund or compensation for our inconvenience, especially since we had to buy additional data on our cell phone plans. They had more than enough time to remedy the situation and dropped the ball. I definitely will not be renting with them again. read more

We rented a a nice condo at 3756 South Atlantic Avenue and this was our second year we rented a condo through Ponce inlet realty. In March 2023, we asked the condo owner if she would be willing to rent it for 4 months in 2024, she said yes and gave us a price that was $200 more per month, and told us to send a $500.00 deposit to Ponce inlet realty which we did. After receiving our deposit, Donna from Ponce inlet realty said Ponce realty would rent us the condo but there would be a $400 increase per month for 2024. We could not afford this increase and within 2 weeks of submitting our deposit in March 2023 we asked for our deposit back. We NEVER signed a lease agreement for 2024. Donna said she would mail us our deposit back. When we arrived home in Ohio we received a deposit check for only $375. When we asked where the rest of our money was Donna said there is a $125 cancellation fee. When we challenged that decision based on the fact we did not sign a lease agreement, could not afford the $400 per month increase and sent our deposit to Ponce realty in good faith based on the condo owner's quote a couple weeks prior, Donna stated 'go ahead and file a complaint because you are not getting your money back'. We will be reporting Ponce realty to BBB and also will file a small claims case against them so this type of unscrupulous activity doesn't victimize other well intention renters as well. read more

This rental agency provided us with late night pick up of keys and quick communications. They have many properties available from one week to monthly rentals. From our experience, they seem to do a good job at managing the properties and keeping them very clean for the owners to provide a beautiful rental experience. Their location is super convenient for the Ponce area too and were easy to contact. read more

BUYER, RENTER, AND SELLER, BEWARE!!! They will make promises that they do not keep, they do not fix things, they neglect their rental properties, cut corners and personally Ive never heard anyone from Ponce Inlet say anything but negative comments about them. We have spoken to employees who have left the company who told us that they left because of the corruption that goes on there. They capitalize on the town's name and reputation. We rented from them in 2012. During the only walk through we had, we were concerned about the condition of the furniture as it was dangerously damaged. We were told that we would have to throw the stuff away ourselves because they were, "short staffed in the rental department." We thought we were getting a good deal at $1250 a month for three bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, across from the beach, even though they counted a room behind the garage, without windows as a bedroom. We were rushed to make a decision as we were told that two other families were interested and ready to take it without a walk through. Looking back, it was really naive of us to believe them but we were desperate as my grandfather who had lived in Ponce for over 25 years was sick and we wanted to be near him. I grew up here and wanted my children to have the same experience that I did. We moved from up north to Ponce because of its beautiful beach and supposed law against renters being able to rent by the week or month, something that is definitely not followed. Ponce Inlet Realty then blamed us 3 years later when we moved out because they made us get rid of our dog who they knew about as there was a pet deposit for him. A, "snow bird," who was renting a place nearby questioned the rescued dog's breed, claiming that he was part pit bull and she felt unsafe with that breed of dog. He was actually a mix breed and the sweetest dog but Ponce Inlet Realty claimed it was not legal to own that kind of dog in Ponce. The renters before us had two dogs who ruined all the furniture and scratched floors and doors. We took dated pictures on our own because they did not. We ended up sending the owner a letter with the pictures as they lied to him and said that we had just got a dog a few months prior and never told them. We told him that we were instructed to throw out the damaged furniture because they locked up all the stuff that the owner wanted. They took our security deposit and pet deposit even though we had to get rid of our dog and left the place cleaner than it was when we moved in. We moved out and now live in Ponce Inlet and have heard horror stories from buyers, sellers, and renters. We got a personal apology from the employee who said she quit because she felt so bad about, "being forced to treat us the way she did," because she knew, "it was wrong but needed the job." I still have her email. We have since noticed that a couple who started out at Ponce Inlet Realty have their own Buisness in Ponce Inlet and most of the locals use them when selling their homes because they are fair and do not capitalize on the town's name or beauty. It's a shame that they haven't lost their licenses after the way they treat people, families, pets. and their own employees. Most residents know not to use them. Still, a few newbies keep them In Buisness as I just saw another sign of theirs. Heed my warning but of course use whoever you want to sell, buy, and rent. We have had no issues in the last six years with where we live and our landlord. I feel like they used us as scapegoats when they didn't take care of the property as they were contractually obligated to do. BE CAUTIOUS... We continue to hear horror stories about them. I'm sure this review will disappear soon, if it's even posted. They continue to get away with the things they do so there must be a reason for it. read more

My family and I used this real estate agent to sell a vacation home we had in Florida, and despite a bad gut feeling about using their services after meeting the agent owner, we decided to go ahead and utilize their services due to their proximity to the home we were selling. From the beginning, I would get e-mails about the web traffic that were directed to me and stated "MY HOME"; however, the e-mails were actually the web traffic of another house that was for sale. Being located in Pennsylvania and the home in Florida, I just assumed that communication would be open and constant, but my family was routinely reaching out for updates and information. I rented a condo unit at the Southpoint condominium, Unit 709, in Ponce Inlet FL in May of 2018. We encountered a severe bug problem in the unit, which caused me to check out of the unit 5 days early. I discussed the problem with the Realty office, and they denied knowing of any such issue with bugs, even though there were bug traps in each of the bedrooms, but said that they would look into the issue. I never heard a response back. During our stay, my mother started to experience welts on one of her arms, and on her back. After returning home from our vacation, and when my mother's condition worsened, she went to a Doctor and was told that her bites were from bed bugs. She called an exterminator who then discovered bed bugs in the luggage that she had in Florida, and in some of her drawers that contained clothes she had taken with her to the unit in Florida. After several calls to Ponce Inlet Realty, and after only one call being returned, the office took no responsibility that there were bed bugs, denied the issue immediately, and would not return any further calls. Along with additional complaints of the unit being dirty, closets stuffed with disarrayed bedding and pillows resulting in living out of our suitcases, and light bulbs not working with old disgarded items in the closets and under the beds, Ponce Inlet Realty is not an organization I would rent a vacation unit from again. I have since reported the issue to BedBugs.com and also will contact the local realty board and other local organizations. My experience with them was unprofessional, dishonest and unresponsive. read more

I've been coming to Ponce for 20 years for three months over the winter. These people are not only rude but the unit we got was a mess and even though we took pictures and complained, we were blamed and our security deposit was kept. I would STRONGLY recommend not using this company. I also spoke to a bunch of folks that live there and they tell me that no one is very happy with them...Horrible! read more
