Leah was incredibly warm, friendly, and professional during the entire process. She assisted me with figuring out how much time we needed for each bridesmaid, and everything was timed perfectly. The day went so smoothly, and I was able to unwind and have fun with Leah, her assistant, and the gals. I had decided on an updo because the back of my dress was so ornate, and I was nervous because I typically don't like the way I look with an updo. Everything changed when Leah crafted my updo. She gave me the most beautiful, romantic, and timeless updo for my wedding day - I loved it, my husband loved it, and I felt gorgeous on my wedding day all thanks to Leah. I have also gotten a lob haircut by Leah - and it was amazing. I live in Washington, DC and have gone to some fancy salons in search of a great cut. When I visit the Hudson Valley once or twice a year, I prefer to go to Xo Salon to see Leah because she is that good - a talented artist with truly creative instincts. When walking around I could see a dress in the back and I was like OMG, that's gorgeous, I wish it was on the floor, I assumed it was someone's dress so I didn't say anything. I tried a couple of dresses on and after a couple Tina said "after our conversation on the phone I put a dress to the side that I thought fit everything you described and that I think would fit you well" IT WAS THE DRESS IN THE BACK. She literally picked my dress from a phone conversation! I tried it on and it was the dress. Nothing else felt right after it. I didn't want to purchase it that day because I hadn't tried on many dresses and had another appointment after. Tina could tell I wasn't ready to purchase and told me to take my time and not to worry, get in touch if I want it. Well after that nothing compared, I called back two days later to ask if I could bring my dad and the rest is history. Tina was amazing and the shop had that nice home/family feel.
