The two stars are only because of the customer service I received from the gentleman at the counter (otherwise it would be 0 stars for the food); he greeted me as soon as I walked in although he was assisting a customer at the register (multitasking! customer service is not dead). However they were blasting trap music at 1pm on a Friday like it was a hookah lounge lol anyway the food was not good at all. Prices weren't bad for what I ordered (pineapple lemonade $3, 2 sides at $5 each, $14 for 6 bad salmon bites). Mac was flavorless. Greens had seasoning kind of a spicy vinegary flavor. I ordered salmon bites which were overcoated and overcooked. I got some sauces but they don't appear to be what I asked for because why is the lemon pepper sweet and why is the mumbo sauce looking and tasting like cocktail sauce with lemon pepper?! The lemonade was very warm no ice, tastes like canned pineapple juice mostly. This was the second stop in my "Black Friday" series today and I went here to make up for the first stop because the first stop was even more of a major disappointment. *UPDATE* in response to biz owner. Came here on Friday to try their special menu item for the week which was a honey jerk chicken with shrimp and crabmeat lo mein. I have frequent this carry out style establishment. Several times and their food hasn't let me down as of yet . The food was good and spicy the chicken had heat with a little bit of sweetness that was right on point the noddles were delicious cooked in jerk seasoning that gave you the spice you expect from jerk. The shrimp were cooked nicely and the crab meat was a nice little added touch to the meal. Today was a good day I don't normally give 5 stars but today is was definitely deserved. We entered the establishment and were greeted immediately! I love that greet me! We grabbed a menu looked over it and was ready to order. My Girlfriend was here yesterday and loved the chicken salad so much she wanted me to try it, she knows I'm a foodie. She ordered the chicken salad sandwich that comes with 2 sides, I got the whiting fish with collard greens and Mac & cheese. Visited fourk'd today for the fist time because of a review from Tik Tok. When you enter fourk'd, the ambiance is very nice with the smooth sounds of RnB playing.
