The 9 am service typically has more modern music, with the 10:45 emphasizing traditional tunes. There are other worship services added at various times of the year, including a lovely Wednesday evening dinner and worship service for families. The services are very interesting (if not entertaining at times) and the sermons always pertain to day-to-day life. (Unlike the fire and brimstone services I grew up with as a child!) I also really like the culture of the church and especially like the four pastors on staff. My husband and I also appreciate the children's sermons, choir/music and the wide range in age of church goers. As for the church building itself, it is very large and I LOVE the stain glass windows. In the Spring, Summer and Fall, there are lots of plantings of flowers around the exterior of the church. I personally love the brick exterior of the church. I would actually say that St. Philip has nice "curb appeal!" St. Philip's also has their hand in a lot of community activities, volunteering, food donations, etc. I personally have never seen a church this involved in community giving. I highly recommend this church for anyone looking for a new church home.

Worship: what you give to God (shouts of praise, music, dance, honor, offerings, tithes, service, time, etc) - these are a pleasing aroma to our Father. Attention American Christians: let us not be so focused on what we can consume from the Church, as our consumerism society focuses on. Bible teaching is present, but I'm not going to wait for Sunday morning to feed. I'm going to the Word today, lest I starve!
