Description/background information: With the rise of consumer interest in food truck culinary offerings, and the accessibility that mobile food trucks provide as an entrepreneurial platform for our culinary students, the college added the Mobile Food Service certificate. The truck was designed, first and foremost, as a classroom for our students at SUNY Schenectady. As a classroom, our mobile truck is uniquely outfitted with a griddle, pizza oven, charbroiler, stove and convection oven, fryer, sandwich station, and a hot box. This allows the students to learn a variety of techniques for preparing and serving foods from a mobile food truck. The courses train students in every aspect of managing a food truck business: permitting, sanitation requirements, menu design, sourcing ingredients and inventory management, setting up a truck layout, food preparation, marketing, point-of-sale and budgeting and more.

And that you should be able to get very good wine for much less. Wine stores do not generally tend to agree with me on this. Most stores only sell rot-gut for under $10. Not this place. In fact, they have an entire wall dedicated to highly regarded and reviewed, inexpensive wines under $10. This puts them on my short list of places to buy wine out here. If you want rot-gut, well, they have that too. But seriously, pony up the extra $2 and get something that's actually good. Situation is kind of tricky…read morebecause if you get off 90 at an exit for fuel you pay a toll to get off and back onto 90 or stay on 90 and stop at a service station and pay more then what's advertised if you get off we choose the service station. Didn't go inside we paid at the pump. There is a small booth if we need assistance in the mix.
