I saw the Ultimate Doors tribute band at the Genesee in Waukegan last month and the drive here was basically the same for me. I enjoyed this show even more the second time. Just over the border is the small town of Hobart and the Art Theatre fits the mold. Celebrating 85 years, this 500 seat venue offers a great view of the stage, anywhere inside. I was shocked how much leg room there is and I am 6'4". An aisle seat was perfect except there was a lot of drunks frequenting the bar, and blocking your view. Sound and lighting is definitely well appointed. Friendly staff and easy check in with your phone.

The theater is located near the valporaiso town center so we had plenty of things to do before the show. We went to a beautiful bar, walked around a book store, and even found a mushroom in a Garden. The show. Absolutely spectacular. Shakespeare in Love is one of my favorite movies so to get to see it performed live...I was spellbound. I cried several times. The acting was phenomenal. Appalling way to run a business to say the least. I'm not sure why the positive review of this gym is so condescending..all I know is when I hear the owner of the gym call a 6 year old child slow to both myself and another parent, on top of literally covering her mouth and whispering while talking about parents..it doesn't seem very fantastic to me. I think spreading personal business, gossiping like a teenager and insulting children are all pretty NEGATIVE. But again the condescending tone and basically insults in the review give a good feel for what is welcome at Lakeshore. But my daughter enjoyed her coach and her friends she had made so we stuck it out, until following a recital, where I was assured my child would be supervised until the end of the show, my THREE year old came running from the back of the auditorium to the second row to find me, completely ALONE. No one even realized my child was missing from the SUPERVISED room. I am grateful that she was able to find me, after she manuevered 3 hallways and a dark auditorium, before anything happened to her. In fact they never realized she was missing at all...no one thinks to count the kids before the curtain call?? At some point you would think they would realize they have lost someone's 3 year old, considering she was back with me for over 30 minutes before the curtain call (which she missed) and not once did anyone come see if she was with me or if she had vanished.
