-- Still Impressed One Year Later…read more I've been the designated reviewer‑type person who waits a full orbit of the earth before writing a "long‑term" review -- not because I enjoy procrastination (well... maybe a little), but because I want to see if something still shines after the newness wears off. In the case of Pine State Seamless Gutters, it turns out the glow hasn't faded a bit -- it's still gleaming like a well‑installed gutter under a Maine downpour. From the very first moment, we felt genuinely taken care of. Audrey answered the phone with a warmth and professionalism that would make your grandma feel comfortable leaving her dessert recipes with a stranger. Then Kelly came out, not just with an estimate, but with a detailed map of how our home would be protected -- accurate, thorough, and thoughtful in every way possible. I've helped a few gutter companies on the West Coast refine and optimize their operations and systems, so I knew what to expect. Kelly came in a little lower in my price range, but delivered the platinum level service. Funny enough, I was literally out of town the entire time this all unfolded. But between calls with family and exchanges with the team, I had zero worries. That level of trust doesn't come with every contractor -- it comes from people who give a damn about what they're doing and how they do it. Sure, I've seen the odd review out there from folks who felt left hanging -- you know, the kinds of complaints you'd expect when expectations don't align with one another. But our experience was the exact opposite: communication was clear, the install was impressive, and -- over a year later -- our gutters have been solid, sturdy, and doing exactly what they promised rain or snow came along. As a high-end builder on the Westcoast, you'd expect a few things that need adjusting after the first year - but our gutters are flowing great! Here's the best part: I still appreciate their attention to detail. I appreciate it now just as much as the day after the install -- which, let's be honest, is rare. You often hear that time reveals the truth of a job well done -- well, Pine State passed that test with flying colors. The product has held up beautifully, the team's care still resonates, and while I hope we never need new gutters (seriously... these things are rugged), if we did? Pine State Seamless Gutters would be the first call. Highly recommended -- to neighbors, friends, family, and anyone who wants service with substance and a smile to boot.

I would get a written contract with Val before he does work on any house. He told me he'd use…read morecertain materials I asked for, and didnt finish the work (ie missing vinyl siding and not enough paint / horrible drippy paint job). Val was also really confrontational by sending rude text messages saying "I'm not paying for your house" and such, when we gave him money whenever he asked. The kitchen cabinets also have gaps and are crooked (very poor workmanship), and the front doorknob fell off a couple weeks after he put it on. The insulation he put in the basement is falling out and falling on the floor. Val and his son did REALLY POOR QUALITY work and then tried to say that's how it's supposed to be. According to Val AND his son you should buy brand new kitchen cabinets with big gaps and put on crooked (maybe they need new glasses. Val will threaten to sue you if you complain about his work. HAVE VAL (short bald guy) SIGN A WRITTEN CONTRACT AGREEING TO MATERIALS AND EXACT WORK THAT NEEDS TO BE DONE! HE WILL TELL YOU HE WILL PUT SOMETHING IN (hard wood doors, or change The layout) but he'll just put in cheap doors and say "I never said that". He is never welcome here again and I'm reporting him to the BBB.
