The employee, who was new, was put off when I said I had some Scratchers and said they only paid out $50 max. Oh... kay. That's their prerogative, but it's also mine to review and subtract a star. I considered getting some Scratchers there because I didn't have much more in Scratchers than they could pay in cash, and thought I could save myself a make-up stop at another gas station but they only sell the $1 Scratchers, and I didn't want to spend the rest of my life scratching. When I said I wanted to do the National Lotto Day promo, the employee was clueless. I explained what it was and he said he didn't know how to do it. He wasn't really interested in figuring it out. (FWIW, I went to a different gas station a few minutes later, and though those employees were clueless, they tried and the free lotto ticket printed automatically with my purchase.) But he plays the lotto and he wanted me to explain how things worked in the app. He was nice and all and we had a decent little conversation, but my trip there was a waste of time. After reading other reviews here, I doubt I'd go back for gas or service.

One employee understood my panic and took me to a sink where I began washing out my eyes... while another employee began yelling at me that it wasn't their fault because I needed them to call paramedics. If they had treatment for my eyes. , that might have been enough. I was so shocked and scared.. this employee continued to berate me even while the paramedics were there. Why did the gas come back on me.? There was no wire wrapped around the nozzle to prevent this.. it gets worse but that's enough. It was horrifying.

The garage team is, quite frankly, fantastic. Here are my main points: 1. Their prices are fair, and they stand behind their work. They installed an axle on my Outback which broke a few days later (manufacturer's flaw). Before I could say anything, they assured me they would reinstall the replacement part for free. Of course, they are required to do this, but most shops wait for you to bring it up. 2. They are thorough. I had an odd clanking in my Outback for years. I took the car to several shops. No one could figure it out. On an oil change, I asked one of their mechanics (Dave) about it and he said he'd take a look. A few hours later he called me about a bent strut that was hidden behind the shrouds (that all had to be removed) which was soon to fail. He brought in welding equipment and fixed it. The repair was very inexpensive (he did not charge for the nearly 2 hours to finally identify it). 3. They respect your car. No smears. The radio and AC are not at 100%. No dirt everywhere. And they strive to make sure your car is secure overnight. 4. They are a 10min walk from the metro, which makes dropping it off easy (if you can use the metro). 5. They are honest. All of their work stands to scrutiny. When I needed major suspension work done as diagnosed by the dealer and another two independent shops, they cited the exact same issues at about 75% the dealer price and equal to other local shops. They do not push needless work at every oil change, unlike a lot of shops. 6. They understand urgency. If you tell them you are in a bind, they will prioritize your car if they can. To be fair, they can be a bit slow updating you on your car's status, but they are usually busy. They've never been disrespectful when I call asking for updates. Finally, I've worked mainly with their mechanic, Dave. He is absolutely fantastic, and I strongly recommend him, although the whole team is strong.

cashier woman is always so rude and be careful. She has multiple times charged me more than what I…read moream getting with soda/refill. She will say it's more ounces than it is to charge you more. I have been going to Mobil to get a refill multiples times a week for a Powerade after my physical therapy for months and it's always the same price unless I go to this one and she will charge me more and when I ask she will be rude and say it's always been that price when clearly it hasn't And will roll her eyes and mock me for even asking. Even though this one is more convenient I will go to any other Mobil now to avoid her.

They only have a few pumps but their gas prices are always priced a little below the average for the area. It's not Quick Trip, but if your in the clayton area, its a good place to fill up.
