I have used Fowler's twice now. I had great service, communication, and value both times.

Our experience with this company has been incredibly disappointing. My senior citizen parents were…read moreleft without central air conditioning for two months during the summer while waiting on a warranty repair. During that time, they were forced to stay in a single room cooled by a small window unit just to make the heat bearable. Throughout those two months, Roger Boswell, the owner repeatedly promised he would come fix the issue, but the repair kept being delayed. It was eventually completed, but only after an unreasonably long wait. I chose not to post a review at the time, hoping it was an isolated incident. Unfortunately, he has now done the same thing to them again. Based on our experience, the workmanship and products have been poor, communication has been minimal, and promises have not been kept. If you're looking for a company that stands behind its work and responds promptly to warranty issues, Roger Boswell isn't it. He's a disappointingly horrible human.

Boswell's installed a new a/c system in our home in Shreveport's few years ago. The brand was…read moreComfortStar, which is apparently not a good brand. Only ComfortStar reps can work on their units. Less than a year later there was a malfunction, which after much controversy Boswells took care of the repair. We had chosen to buy from this company because it was owned by my husband's nephew. We expected to have good service, partly because of family relation. That brings it up to Wednesday when the system went out. When I contacted Roger he immediately said "I'm not coming up there." I asked him where we could call for help. He said he would call somebody in the morning. We called him with the needed repairs, he accused one of the repairmen of stepping on and breaking the drain line (the drain pan was full so we knew it had been broken for a while) and we never heard from him again. After multiple calls by myself, and three different companies coming out our system was repaired. A big part of the problem is with the ComfortStar brand and company. We do hold Boswell's responsible for installing a system with such restrictions and poor reliability. My main complaint is with the owner's attitude. He was very rude, immediately snapping that he was not coming here to work on our system. I asked for assistance In finding someone to repair the system. Apparently he did NOTHING. He did not even have the decency to call us back to find out if we had gotten the needed repairs. For all he knows and cares we are sweltering in the heat. That is not the way to treat customers, including relatives.
