When we were in town visiting folks we popped into the store a few days after Christmas ready to view estate pieces and pick one out! We were so thrilled Estate Jewelry LTD had a large array of very well curated pieces spanning many eras and designs. The shop owner was a delight to work with and someone you just enjoying doing business with because they are honest and have a great personality. We happily chatted away while trying on nearly 30 pieces. He took the time to explain pieces and had a keen eye for finding and suggesting items to try on that I would like. The process was really fun and we felt no time or purchase pressure which made the process all the more pleasant for us. The mutual respect we shared with the shop for keeping estate pieces intact and respecting the integrity and creativity of design was an added bonus. It is refreshing to find a shop that celebrates estate pieces for their beauty and charm. We had a few favorites but eventually settled on a gorgeous pair of diamond and ruby earrings. Checkout and pricing was a breeze! He even printed up the appraisal speedily after paying. They have a large array of pieces spanning many different periods, designs and pricing points. They welcomed any budget and had pieces to offer one would love the price as much as the piece. My last experience was walking into a store, having the Clerk install my battery and walking out. That was certainly not the case here. To the almost 30 minutes, it took to get my information when I dropped the watches off; to being told my watches would be done on Wednesday, only to call on Thursday, to be told that they were done, but someone needed to call me before I could pick them up!That call finally came in on Friday. And when I have needed batteries for these particular watches before , every time the jeweler has always set the time. The time was not set on either of these watches and I spent the morning googling how to do it. I actually have trouble calling her that, as she seemed more like just a super-friendly person who also happened to know an awful lot about jewelry (NO pressure at all). Despite the fact that we weren't even in the market for an engagement ring (and told her that), she invested her attention and time in humoring us by measuring our fingers, showing us any ring we wanted to look at, and explaining that the artists can customize any nature-inspired (or non nature-inspired) piece. We left that day with a business card with a bunch of tiny tiny notes written on the back. As we weren't really looking for a ring at the time, the card found its way to the depths of my glove compartment. Fast-forward 6 months, and I finally used the card. By then I was living out of state, but the crew at Zest was no less friendly and helpful than had I been their lifelong next-door neighbor. Every phone call I made was answered and every email sent was met with an almost-immediate response as they helped me design/choose the PERFECT ring for my now-fiancée. I personally was flocking to all of the jewelry; most (or all?) of it is either locally made or comes from fair trade organizations. Necklaces, bracelets, rings, earrings, you name it! There were some body products (like a dreamy cream I put on my hands), handbags, other accessories, and more.
