In her (utopian) world she believes people should be "researching places before you go, so you know the basic aesthetic, price points, etc. of clothing stores (or any business).... before visiting." Really?? As if it's any of your business what I do, Katty, your comment is ridiculous. Who has time for that? Maybe you should be an appointment only store so you can judge each patron individually before letting them peruse your ugly, overpriced crap? This store is exactly the reason that I only shop local or second-hand. The store owner goes above and beyond on every. single. purchase. I have purchased items, including everything from intimates to work blazers to gowns for a black-tie wedding. The quality is always top-tier and extremely fairly priced. Even when an error was made and my order was shipped to an old address whose occupants then lied about receiving the package when we had photo evidence of it on their front porch, the owner tried to contact the landlord, refund as much as they could, AND help me find a replacement piece. I came in to buy a bag I saw on Instagram a few months ago. I really wanted to get it! When I walked in I wasn't greeted by anyone. The person sitting at the counter who I know is the owner didn't even look up. I asked about a bag and she told it wasn't for sale. I told her I watched a story on Instagram about how the bag was for sale and to make an offer. She then told me she changed her mind and it's not my fault "I didn't listen." She didn't even offer an alternative. She shares way too much on her Instagram and clearly can't keep her business up and running because she closing. I hope someone is able to enjoy the bag. Probably the most expertly curated vintage shop I've been in, you don't have to dig through racks here, everything they have is great! And sized in modern sizing which is also helpful. Really the selection is unbelievable-kind of mimics a great boutique-really high quality cool affordable off the racks, through designer and one of a kinds...And then I went back in the next day and she had tons of new merchandise out! I live in NYC but frequent Memphis for work. I yelped this place and found it to have a great selection of statement pieces, everyday clothes, resort wear, and occasion wear. Really something for everything. The staff we nice and friendly and the owner even took me to the back to show me some things she'd put up for the winter. Their belt collection is to die for. I went in there for the first time today to look around. I noticed on the window it had a piece of paper that said, "Our bathroom is for CUSTOMERS only." I ask if they have a bathroom I can use.
