Eh, not the place for me. I was thinking this was more of a theft store. This is a large building that welcomes and leases space for selling antiques. I should have known that I guess, as the name has the word antique in it. We entered and were greeted by friendly people. We were offered freshly baked cakes and teas. I noticed they had art classes taking place in the back. If you are into this type of thing, this would be a nice place to stop in. Smaller than the ones on rte 29 o/s the Culpeper area but a more social group indeed. Enjoy. read more

I found one item I wanted to purchase which was a blue and white ceramic hand. They placed it out on the shelves which were mixed with items for sale. I found it and knew knew I had to have it, but upon picking it up to see the price I found a tag that said " GG hand Not for Sale". I don't understand why they would place an item out that wasn't for sale. Then to make matters worse my Dad found a gardening book he wanted to buy. He brought it to the counter, as it had a $2.50 price tag. The two ladies at the counter wouldn't sell it to him because they couldn't tell who the seller was and this wouldn't sell it to him. I mean it seems to me they could have taken a picture of the book and figured out later instead of refusing him. read more

Super spot for antiquers! Very very clean, friendly staff and fully stocked with dealers. Merchandise focuses on Americana, glassware and smalls. This is located in a vintage garage/auto dealership, with cool old roll-up doors and a deco-looking office. We had a great time. read more

My friend and I went in, walked around for about 20 mins, I was looking a buying somethings that totaled over $2000 collectively. I went to the counter and asked a question and the lady behind the counter looked at me in disgust and told me that I would not be helped unless I was wearing a mask. I tried to explain to her that I have a medical condition that prevents me from wearing a mask. She rudely stated this is the owner's rule. I tried to peacefully explain that there are laws and regulations that exempt those with medical conditions from wearing a face covering. She again, and loudly, said that they are private business and can make their own rules. Sure, but not if it is federally protected. That woman needs to be fired on the spot for her rudeness and idiocy. The owner should be ashamed to employ people like this. read more

This is a must stop when in Warrenton. A great and varied collection of items and very friendly staff. I find the prices to be a touch on the high side, but all in all, you will enjoy stopping here. Most of the stock appears to be mid-century or later. This is usually my first stop of several on my weekend antiquing route. read more

I disagree with Al A. Comment regarding the bald man working at the fox den. They obviously are a negative individual that is unhappy with most things in life. I went recently and he went over and beyond what I expected from the salesperson at fox den. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and even helped me take my purchase to my car. My favorite antique store around!! I'm here on a biweekly basis and I always find something new! Always changing and arranging! Very friendly staff and dealers! They really have something for everyone here! I have never walked out without a treasure or two in my hands! Inside, it's a huge space, many dealers too. I typically will spend at least more than an hour in there! Some of my most recent finds have been a ca. 1910-1920 beaded purse for only $25, The Magical Mystery Tour album by The Beatles for I think $15, some vintage hairnets, $3 each, and a wonderful antique photo from the late 1800s! They have everything! Jewelry and hats, a booth full of Coca Cola memorabilia, architectural salvage, old Life magazines, old baby dolls and toys, furniture, and some bullets and stuff from The Civil War, just to name a few things. So much more though! I find that the prices vary between dealers, with the items I have purchased I thought the prices were fair! read more

I have found many unique treasures here and I usually always go back to search for items every two weeks or so because things are constantly changing. I love their open houses as they serve treats and sometimes have live entertainment. I would highly recommend stopping and taking a looksie!!! read more

Browsed around and they had a lot to look at! I like the store layout and how everything does not seem so crammed. It's easy to see what they have whereas some antique shops tend to be crowded and musty. It looks small from the outside but go on in and see it for yourself. I went to the fox den and met a knowledgeable elderly bald gentleman that knew alot about original artwork and helped me make an educated decision and I am very happy with it. I come in sometimes and he is always helping people load up their cars with antiques which they bought. He was a very kind old man that was very social and was very easy to get along with. read more
