I arrived about 4:30 pm - normally they are open until 5:00 pm - the guy was starting to turn off the lights and close up shop when I walked in. He turned the lights back on for me - I told him what I was looking for - he knew his stuff - he had only one piece that fit my needs. The guy that runs the place - his name is George Fernandez - a real friendly and all around nice guy. He knocked an additional $20 off the price of the table without me asking. I paid for it and he carried it out to my car. Lots of nice stuff here!

There are plenty of items to look through (old and new) to bring character into the home or space that you intend to work on. Lots of peace of mind to bring things that you can no longer use making this a great rotating operation. The proceeds and donated items go towards building homes for low income individuals/ families that can receive a mortgage based on income. At least that was what it was when it first started. (I had the opportunity to volunteer on a renovation of a home as a youth and found it a rewarding experience to meet the homeless family that would be moving into the finished structure.) This place is very small inside - compared to it's gargantuan neighbor next door. Still, I found something I really liked - a wrought iron candle holder - with wrought iron acorns and leaf adornments - holds three candles - and came with three candles in nice Autumn colors - only $15.00! I met "Paula" of Paula's Boutique - very nice lady. She does not accept credit cards - cash or check only. I was out of cash - she offered to go next door and use her neighbor's credit card machine. I declined and asked if she could hold it for me and I would return next Sunday to purchase it. She told me to just go ahead and take the item now and come back and pay her for it! Wow! You don't experience that often these days! So I will go back on Sunday to pay for my item! Nice lady and nice little shop!
