Took in our cityrun folding e-bike for flat tire repair but was later denied they could not repair said because the power cord would need cut. & family member it was for said they were rude to her. But our Neighbor was later able to replace tire without the need to cut said power cord. gave them 2 star for saving us what they would have charge for repair cost. But they lost customers permanently. read more

I bought my $1700. Electric Townie 2 months ago with much joy only to have problems for which I was blamed for creating, the last being when the pedal fell of while riding. Rather than admit a simple mistake in placement , we were accused of tampering with it! They had done other work on the bike after the second ride for a clicking noise while pedalling,and when reattaching pedals they were switchedThey were very rude and wanted money for the repair Since threads were stripped.!!!Of course I was glad to know I had not bought a lemon, Just a simple correction needed. So I contacted Trek in tears regarding all the problems and accusations we experienced.Thankfully they stand behind the product and sent me to Trek dealer David's World Cycle in Ormond. Chris was as shocked as I to think someone would blame me 58 and my husband 78 for tampering,when a special tool is needed to even move the pedal! so sad. Wanted to do business local , but happy to go extra mile now and have my joy back.!!! read more

I took my mountain bike here for a tune-up. The staff was friendly, fast, and the service was top-notch! My bike rides and looks brand new! I don't think it ever shifted this smoothly. Chad took great care of me. He even found a spare cog so I didn't have to buy a new rear cassette. The deluxe tune-up is worth the extra cost to get the wheels trued and the bike detailed. I've taken my bike to several shops in DB/PO/NSB, and I finally found the best. Fox Firestone is fantastic! read more

Drove 45 minutes to pick my sons bike up. The place advertises open until 6pm called ahead of time said we would be there at 5:52pm. We show up at 5:52 and the sign out front said open and they closed early. This economy is crazy for small business just saying. I recommend JCs bike shop in Deland fl. It was the worst bike and customer service I have ever had. First bike ride after tune up, tires are rubbing, gears will not shift properly, and flat tire. Of course the tire they repaired. I never write reviews like this but when we went back to store it was shocking how rude he was. Maybe this one sales/service person is not a reflection of this business but it will leave a lasting impression. Called them to rent a bike. Had a big charity ride to do in Septemeber. Was not asking for favours. Absoultey prepared to pay decent money for the right rental for a few weeks. Heard nothing back. Nada. Called HUB cycling in Port Orange. Great service, great shop, and now instead of renting a bike - I purchase one from them. $1400 in their register. Boom. Have been trying to take my Electra Townie for the first tune up for almost 2 years. I am a part time resident, and have been told in the past it would take 3 weeks to get me in, and would have my bike for up to 3 weeks. Called and spoke with an employee, asked if I could drop the bike off, and pick it when I am back in town in 7 weeks. Was told sure, we would work with you. Loaded up the bike, took it to the store, and even with the employee I spoke with standing there, was rather rudely told I could not do that, unless I wanted to pay a $5 per day storage fee - $175. I did not appreciate the unpleasant treatment or the fact they did not honor what they told me. I love my bike, but will take my business to another local shop from now on. read more

After enduring all the frustrations associated with old second hand store bikes, I decided to get a new bike. I,m not a serious enough rider to justify an expensive bike, but I didn't want to settle for a W** M*** brand X bike either. Fox Firestone had a Trek that fit my body, my riding style and my budget. The bike is almost three years old now and has about 2,400 miles on it. It has been amazingly trouble free. I recently took it in to get a few loose spokes tightened and have it inspected for wear and tear etc. No fuss, no muss, just a couple of adjustments and I'm back on the road. I am completely satisfied with the bike; the service has been excellent. and I really appreciated the information Robert shares when I have questions. Five Stars for this shop and staff. read more
