My Hippo of a bike has so many sweet memories I want to hold her together as long as I can . Steve saw my brake issue had it fixed in 3 minutes and showed me in the future how to resolve it should it happen again. I asked for a check up for safety. I was at the right time this day as they weren't swamped with customers. I had casually mentioned Bird my dog hated the basket as it was to bouncy. He didnt try to push a expensive new one but a senior budget friendly used one that looked brand new.Thats one of the many reasons I love this shop if they have used look new parts available they will offer it to you.Steve returned to me in 20 minutes a newer better version of Feline Flamingo my bike. I went here for the first time yesterday (July 28 2025) because I had an issue with my front brakes on my E-Bike squealing continuously. I'm glad I stopped here. I called them and explained the issue and the guy told me to bring it over. I got there 45 minutes before closing time and they said no problem and pulled it right in. They fixed the problem in less than a half hour and I was good to go. They now have a new dedicated customer! List of Excellence: The service was awesome! The employees are very friendly. The price of my repair was forty bucks which was less than I expected. They have a great inventory of bike and they rent bikes if you are on vacation or just don't have a bike. One more thing I thought was very cool is you get to watch them work on your bike and you can grab a beer out of refrigerator and relax. How cool is that? I was scheduled to fly into Daytona Beach for the Clash Endurance race when I learned that my tri bike I sent thru a well know bike transport company wasn't going to be delivered to the race site. I called Steve at Hub Cycling looking for a last minute bike rental for the race. Steve knew the situation about that bike transport company. Unfortunately, Steve said they had rented out all their bikes already for the race but offered to loan me a personal bike where he would switch out the tires. Later the bike transport company was able to deliver my tri bike to Hub Cycling. Steve immediately called me that my bike was delivered. I informed him that I had to cancel my race trip. He then suggested how he could send my tri bike back to San Francisco via Bike Flights which I took care of online after getting off the phone. By the next day, Steve had UPS pick up my bike and on its way back to me. I was really impressed Steve and his customer service! read more

I can't say enough good things about this bike shop. I flew in from California for challenge Daytona , and realized the day before the race that I left a small but vital bike part at home. Without this part the bike is not rideable. The guys attended to me right when I walked in the door and bent over backwards to help me out. One of them started adjusting one of their in house bikes to fit me while another worked on trying to find a part that would work with my bike. They finally found the part I needed on another bike that was in their shop. And they were busy when I walked into their shop, so they went out of their way to make time for me in my desperation. I took my bike in today with a flat rear tire that needed to be replaced and Steve took care of it on the spot. 20 minutes later I was headed home with a new rear tire, readjusted front brakes and a few touch up lubes. I was in need of servicing my Recumbent 2 wheeler and tried at Bob's Bike shop and what a crummy treatment I got from the new owner. I then checked out The Hub Cycling and what a different approach I received from the Hub Cycling. They called me on Thursday and arranged to pick up my Bike. They came up for the Bike and tood it to the shop. About 1 hour later they called to inform me of the need for a new chain and I told them to give the Bike a complete going over. They called me about 2 hours and said that the Bike was ready and would return it to me. When they returned to m e I couldn't believe the way it looked-it looked like it was brand new and I rode it for a short time as it was very warm and with the new pedals, what a difference. Wow! What a great experience. I took my girlfriend, Sarah, there to pick out a bike as a Christmas present. We were greeted by a guy named Steve. He was very friendly, informative, and patient as we browsed their selection (which was priced competitively with other shops). We picked a couple out and he got them ready for test rides. While Sarah was testing the bikes, several other people stopped in. Some were existing customers and I think even adjacent business owners, all of which seemed to have a great report with Steve. Once Sarah chose a bike, Steve informed us about the various accessories but wasn't pushy with selling us all the bells and whistles. The HUB is the only shop I will bring my bike. They have Shimano certified mechanics (probably Campy and SRAM also but I ride Shimano so that is all I noticed) and were able to tweak my DI2 real quick and even took the time to explain and show me what they were doing. The best part is they are not pushy when it comes to buying accessories etc... Recently i needed to get a new saddle and handlebars. Multiple members on the team showed me the options, explained the differences including the good and bad of each and never pushed one specific brand on me. Only when I asked straight up which did they preferred and why did they tell me. Steve ended up special ordering my bars, let me know the day they came in and installed them the same day so I could get out and ride and not miss a day of training. read more
