    Cow tongue tacos
    Katina D.

!!!!! Fox Fuel tacos is an authentic taco style located in a fancy gas station off of Harry Hines and Northwest highway. This gas station also give you an opportunity to do your laundry in addition to consuming tacos! Talk about hitting the bird with two stones (maybe even a couple more stones). This place was truly unique due to the large quantities of chandeliers and the enormous tv which really makes it "fancy." I came here on a mission to satisfy my craving for some authentic ghetto tacos with my family. We all ordered the tacos al pastor, also known as the "beehive" of meats, and I was able to try the cow tongue taco. The cow tongue taco was really interesting considering I didn't know what it was until after I ate it lol. I would have to say that the tacos al pastor was a little on the dry and bland side but I still ravaged regardless! The tacos were so cheap! Last but not least, I ordered the elotes and WOW it was one of the best I've ever had in Dallas. The corn was so rich and creamy which made it nearly impossible for me to control myself lol. Overall: I would definitely come back! As you can tell, I really enjoyed my experience while dining here and I think y'all will too!

Do not waste your Money! Only 6 are 7 dryers are working

This place is also a laundromat where 50 washers work and only 6 are 7 dryer are working and all the other dryers are out order.. This is insane ! And not fair for people to waste there money and wait for hours on a dryer..

The inside taco stand. Order is taken at the other cash register. Notice there are extra seatings upstairs.

This new location is ridiculously big! It's located right across from Friendly's tacos which is my all time favorite place. Had to give this one a try to see what the new competitor is bringing to the table. It's a gas station/laundromat with a taco stand inside. I love that's it's so bright and colorful outside. Upon arriving, it feels like I'm going to a club. The inside is decorated with chandeliers everywhere. Makes eating tacos much more fancier in Harry Hines as compared to eating in your car, on your hood/trunk or on someone's hood/trunk. From looking at their menu, they offer a wide selection of taco meat. Something new for me is the Trompo meat which is pork and also the Chicharon which was sold out unfortunately. We ended up ordering the lengua, beef, Barbacoa, and Trompo. Orders are taken at the cash register. The cashier will give you a receipt in which you will take to the taco stand to present to the taco chef. I like the Trompo taco which was flavorful and also the Lengua. Beef tacos was okay. Barbacoa was too oily, fatty and bland. As for the sauce, they said the green sauce is the spiciest. Both their red and green sauce was not good to me which was a bummer. Missing flavor and spice for sure. Overall, Friendly's tacos is still my top favorite. Still a good experience. You have to try something new in order to have something to compare with.

Horrible barbacoa tacos full of fat hardly any beef, then when there was beef it had no flavor. Tacos fell apart because of all the oil in the bottom of the box. I learned my lesson fix fuel is a real low budget fuel city....stick to fuel city the barbacoa is on point

Okay The Tacos are one of the worst I have ever had. I ordered a burger and the meat had no flavor. The bun was absolutely soaked in mayonnaise. The salsa was descent. I will never recommend this place to anyone

This is the authentic Mexican menu

Tacos were quick, cheap, and very good. Ingredients were fresh. The ordering process is a little strange but food was good!

That said, this review is really for people who aren't familiar with CVS or the U.S. drugstore setup. For locals, this is honestly an ideal CVS. It's clean, extremely organized, and very self-explanatory. Everything runs efficiently, and people move in and out quickly. Even when several customers walk in at once, checkout is fast and there's never a real line. It's one of those places where errands feel painless. The only real downside is staffing. There usually isn't more than one employee on the floor, and they're often busy stocking. If you're from out of town--especially if you're unfamiliar with self-checkout or need help navigating the store--that can be frustrating. While the layout makes perfect sense to locals, it might not feel as intuitive to someone visiting from outside the U.S. So while I'd absolutely recommend this CVS to locals for its efficiency and cleanliness, I wouldn't necessarily suggest it as the easiest option for international visitors or first-timers. Yes, it's a little weird to review a CVS--but that's my honest take. i

I've been here several times, and somehow each visit has managed to be its own unique episode of chaos. The main issue always seems to be whoever is working the register. Customer service is not just absent -- it has left the building, changed its number, and blocked everyone. I've seen employees yelling at customers, including one cashier who got upset because a customer chose to go to another 7-Eleven that accepts debit for lottery purchases. As the customer walked out, the cashier yelled, "THE WINNING TICKET IS HERE!!!" -- which honestly felt less like customer service and more like a dramatic prophecy from a gas station oracle. The lines are always long, winding through the aisles like we're waiting for a theme park ride, except the ride is disappointment and the gift shop is chips. Everyone just stands there, silently hoping the cashier finds either some pep in his step or one single thing in life to be grateful for. I keep giving this place another chance, but at this point I gotta call it quits, I'm certain I can find a store that respects me as a customer.

This is what corner stores are like without the movie tie-in slushies, crew uniforms and district managers: dingy and random. If you want the 7-11 experience, walk a block and a half in practically any direction and soak in a few thousand watts of fluorescent lighting, bright signage and wide aisles. If you want to get your coffee, smokes, giant can of beer, scratch-offs or soda amidst Girls Gone Wild DVDs, weed paraphernalia, blaring r&b music, the terminally unemployed and a micro-casino operating dodgily in the back, then Cost One is for you. The operators are nice guys, and best (worst?) of all, they allow dogs, so you can get coffee while you're out walking your pooch. The coffee is delicious, too. Pricing is seemingly random, but there are some items you can't find anywhere else in downtown. They have some cheap sunglasses and a little "tobacco accessories" section (including scales, pipes, papers and blunt wraps), if you're into that. Mix tapes from local hip hop artists are available at the register. Oversized white tees and other Dallas-themed apparel can be found in racks by the front door. Parking is surprisingly easy, but you're probably walking here. In case you're driving, there's metered parking around the side. This place is a little slice of East Dallas injected into downtown. I would give it five stars, but interacting with the homeless in an enclosed space can get a little sketchy. It also closes early for a convenience store. Still, my favorite convenience store in the city!
