Both of my children attended the school over the past few years. My son started when he was just 15 months old and will go into the Pre-K program this year, and my daughter just completed her first year of Kindergarten. She entered completely prepared academically and socially and we received excellent feedback from her teacher about her preparedness, largely due to Adat Shalom Preschool. Both kids have very different personalities and learn in their own special ways. And both have received excellent care and education at Adat Shalom. The teachers truly care about each child and help them to develop skills, create connections and have fun. The families come from many different cultural and religious backgrounds, helping to create a diverse learning environment. Personally, I really enjoy that the school lets parents to be very involved in school activities and events. It has allowed me to foster my own friendships and be a part of my children's education. Practically, I also like that there are various scheduling options so I could craft the experience in the way that made the most sense for each of my kids. We are amazed at how much our child has learned at the Alphabet Tree in just 6 months.   We have…read moreseen more progress with this daycare, in such a short amount of time, than the other daycare that we were previously went to for multiple years.  One of the successes of the Alphabet Tree was helping my child with his eating habits as they were able to get him to try new foods and add a little more variety to his plate. In regards to the educational aspect, our child can now count past 50, count in 5's and 10's, he can sing the months of the year and is starting to learn how to use the calendar.  The teachers are amazing and really care for the children.  The school conducts fun activities throughout the year such as the Halloween parade, Christmas celebration, Valentine's Day and Dr. Seuss week.   Every week they have a special letter for show n tell which the kids really enjoy. There are also some outside programs that the children can participate in for an extra fee which my child loves...Happy Feet and Gymagic Bus.
