I had a number of bulky old items I wanted removed from my home including an old metal filing cabinet, an huge Ikea entertainment center, an ancient Sony Trinitron, and many similar items. I emailed Fox Junk Removal on Monday, they got back to me right away, and we scheduled a Thursday pickup. I even added a lot of additional items later in the week and that was not a problem. On Thursday, Marcel and Karl arrived on time. They had a great attitude, worked quickly and efficiently and even swept up after they were finished. I had a cement patio table that I wanted to get rid of. As a whole, this table was beyond heavy, however, it broke down into 4 pieces which made it manageable. Initially, I called 800-GOT JUNK and they came and gave me a quote of $275 to remove it. They said it's weight was an issue and that is why they had to charge more than their regular fee (which would have been $175). I called Fox Junk Removal based on Yelp reviews. They came out, quoted me $75 and loaded up the table AND swept up the debris all in less than 20 minutes. I actually gave them $80 because I was so happy. Just had them do junk removal for me less than an hour ago. I called them at 11am from work they quoted me based off of my description and stuck by their quote. They picked up the couch and chair I was junking by 12pm, unbelievably fast and I didn't have to be home for the pickup, as payment was done via square and the furniture I had already placed outside. I was moving, and I needed to have a queen-size mattress, box springs, bed frame, and a large TV hauled away. I looked at Yelp reviews and called Fox Junk Removal. The young lady who answered was friendly and professional. She gave me an estimate that I thought was reasonable, and we had the appointment set up in minutes. I was so frazzled the morning of the move that I'm afraid I've forgotten their names, but they called in the morning to let me know they were on the way, and showed up right on time. I added another large item, and that was no problem. They also had to dismantle the large, wooden bed frame. When they finished removing the items, they brought in a broom and dustpan, and cleaned the area! The final price, even with the small dining table I added, was less than the original estimate. They were terrific! We set a date and time and when they found they were going to be 30 minutes late, they called to let us know. Who does that anymore??? We had a small space filled with a LOT of junk. There were also some varmints living in the space. Apparently with all the commotion, one started running around in the shed. It didn't seem to phase Linda and Eric a bit. They were also very mindful of what was in the rubble. They carefully set aside some old photos and my late father's belongings (which I didn't even know were there.) The price was very reasonable, but honestly, when you're fed up with the mess, money is not your main concern. We will call again for the garage. And the attic. And a spare bathroom. This is as good as service can get, I would recommend this company to anyone. I had a garage with 35+ years of stuff in it, including furniture, file cabinets, old clothes, toys, electronics, and general junk. I called Fox and spoke with LInda, she explained their services, asked pertinent questions, and scheduled a pickup date that fit my schedule. On the appointed day Dale and Luis (two of the nicest, most hard working guys ever) showed up right on time, gave me the cost (which actually stunned me with how low it was), and within half an hour had everything on the truck and were sweeping up the area. This is how you should operate a business, do what you say you're going to, charge a reasonable price, allow customers to pay with a credit card onsite, and do it all with a smile. As a property manager I am sometimes left with tons of junk in the vacated apartments or houses. Eric, has helped me on many occasions. One tenant of mine, who was a memorabilia collector, had a stroke. Via his caretaker he made me a list of some very expensive collectibles, that were easily valued over $25,000.00 that he wanted. I gave the list to Eric, and about a week later he was able to fill the list, and add a few things that he thought were valuable to give to my ex-tenant.
