Fox junk removal was very professional and did a great job in cleaning out a unit in our apartment complex. They first came out and gave a free estimate, which was very necessary as there was a tremendous amount of clutter and small items as well as large furniture items. They included in their estimate the labor cost sorting items that were able to be donated as well as lugging out all the items. I appreciated this as I could be assured that the job would be manageable for them. When it came the actual day for removal, the crew was extremely thorough in sorting through items to see if anything was usable or valuable to be reclaimed. This review is not for their work, but more about one of their employees in particular. We used their services to get rid of some old furniture, and they were quick and effective with the whole process. What we really did no like, was after paying the bill in cash (which btw was a lot MORE than what I was quoted, plus they were over an hour late), one of the workers came back and knocked on our door and asked, and I quote, "You didn't give us any tip right, just making sure you didn't give us any tip before we left", his tone and demeanor wasn't friendly to say the least. Let's see, I paid way more than what I was quoted, and they arrived over an hour late, hmm. Case in point, tipping is expected and mandatory with Fox Junk Removal workers. My experience with Fox Junk Removal was great. Todd helped me set up the appointment. Initially, I planned for separate movers to bring the bulky furniture down, and i had brought the smaller items and bags on the curb... but on the day, the movers didn't show up on time and Fox was able to come early. They were able to move the furniture down the stairs for me and all at a reasonable rate. So everything worked out perfectly! My move was much easier because of them! read more

If I could give no stars I would. The person who helped on the phone was friendly and quoted a price range for the service. We even had everything out at the curb ready for them that morning. The two guys who showed up certainly don't like their jobs and started complaining immediately to ensure they charged the maximum quoted and wanted cash. They started with the obvious lie, "this is much more than we were told". I was quick to correct him because I was very exact on the phone as to what they were picking up and even offered dimensions of the furniture. As soon as my card was charged he was very apologetic stating they never know until they show up. Very rude at first and then very friendly after they had been paid. It took them longer to write a receipt then it did to load the furniture up. So, they were gone within minutes of showing up after charging the maximum quoted. I had a garage full of trash and some more trash next to my garage, on sunday around 4 pm I sent Fox Junk Removal a message to get a quote, I sent pictures and of course its very difficult to give a quote with just pictures so they said they could come next day to check the trash and give me an exact price. They arrived 15 min early which was so good and convenient. Marcel spoke to me and saw all the trash and gave me a quote, he was very nice, polite and very professional then he introduced me to Karl and Rico which were extremely nice and professional. They asked me questions on which was trash and what was not, and started working. It was raining all morning and they had the best attitude and working very professional. I looked at Fox Junk Removal in comparison to other junk removal services. I messaged them the same message, and Fox Junk Removal comes out on top in every way. Customer Service: They get back to you quickly, whether it's messaging through yelp or the phone. They are very upfront and transparent about their pricing, affable, and accommodating (as I had to reschedule my pick up time). Other companies I messaged, either did not give me a straightforward or personalized answer. With Fox Junk Removal, I described what I wanted removed. They asked questions to specify the situation further, determined the price range for the quote ($80 to $90 dollars), and set up the appointment. All while being very personable and pleasant (thanks Todd!). Smooth as butter and easy. Pricing: Definitely the cheapest out of all the moving companies. It's $80 dollar minimum (which only applies if you're within 10 feet). It cost me $90 to remove a queen mattress (no box spring or frame). The next cheapest, and only other company that provided an actual quote for my specific situation, would have charged $100 with the $25 yelp discount (so normally $125). The other companies either gave me a cut and paste answers that answered nothing, or were convoluted without actually giving me a good idea of the price range I might be paying (which could lead to an unpleasant shock). Regardless, it was apparent their prices would be much higher than Fox Junk Removal. Fox Junk Removal takes cash, cheque or card (no cash discount). Performance: Professional, fast, considerate and on time. They called to let me know they were going to be coming 15 minutes ahead of time. They showed up, were professional and pleasant, and did the job easily. They also waited politely for me to invite them in, instead of being abrupt and just charging into the house. They also acquiesced to my request for them to let my dog sniff them so he could be less nervous, and were nice to him. Charged my card and the job was done in less than 20 minutes (probably more like 15 but I wasn't keeping track of the time). I didn't get their names but if they're reading this, thank you. Note: I am on a ground floor apartment with a street door entrance Conclusion TLDR: Best price, great customer service, professional and fast. I've used Fox Junk Removal twice now, and they were total pros both times. The first time, I had a HUGE, battered old couch in my apartment that had been left there by an old roommate. I have no idea how it got in there in the first place, and was at a loss as to how to remove it. Fox junk removal sawed the thing in half and had it gone in fifteen minutes. I've also used them to come collect items when I moved apartments. They were running slightly late but were amazing at communicating exactly when they'd come so it wasn't even an inconvenience. I rarely come across companies now a days that I genuinely appreciate, but this is one of them. The customer service couldn't be better and they hold themselves to a standard that is above what most expect. I had a garage filled with junk and items that had some value. They explained that they try to keep things out of the landfills so any items that can be sold or donated will be. They worked quickly and cleaned up the entire area afterwards. They even cleaned this area of my driveway that got dirty from the truck brushing against a tree. Swept it and placed the debris in the trash. Another great thing was they didn't give me some 5hour window for an appointment. Highly recommend these guys and I don't write reviews often but felt compelled considering my experience. read more
