I have been using this company for over a year now and my experience with them has been almost perfect. They are thorough, friendly, and they take initiative. My family recently got a dog. They treated for any possible fleas and ticks in my yard and I love the thoughtfulness! Any time I call for in between maintenance, it's quick and the problem is fixed. After heavy rains, the bugs find their way in, but I call when I see them and after treatment, the problem is solved. My technicians today were so above and beyond, I needed to write about them! Tyler was one of them, and there was another gentleman assisting him. They are both fabulous! My one negative was a tech who months ago, knocked on my door so gently I didn't hear even though I had no other noise in my house at the time. I saw him drive up, but most of the time, they do a little paperwork while sitting in their truck before coming to knock at the door. I took something upstairs, and when I went back downstairs, he was gone. When I called to ask why the tech drove away, he ended up coming up with numerous excuses as to why he couldn't come back. They never sent him back to my house again thankfully. I almost went back to my old company after that. read more

I am extremely disappointed with the way my account has been handled. I have continued to be charged a monthly fee despite Fox Pest Control missing two months of service. After speaking with multiple representatives, I was originally promised that I would not be charged for August and September to make up for the two months of missed service. Now that August has arrived, I was told by a new representative that this was not the case. When I explained the situation to another representative, I was met with a rude and dismissive attitude and received no real help resolving the issue. All I am asking for is the service I have already paid for. I should not have to repeatedly contact your company or explain the same situation to multiple people to receive a fair resolution. I am very upset and disappointed with Fox Pest Control and the way this has been handled. door to door representI've knocked on my door with a no solicitation sign. then he proceeded to tell me "to stop hiding behind my door". when I asked them through the video camera. I work from home and cannot come to the door for everyone selling everything after I was off the phone I decided to find these individuals on down the street, it was not hard as they were on motorized Segways I found the individual and ask who he represents. he said he was representing himself. I saw that he was with an electric device, and a lanyard that said FOX on it, after that he admitted to working for FOX PEST CONTROL. this individual was completely off the rails, and wanted to escalate the situation. I then walked away to a barrage of angry words. He suggested that I need to move To a gated community to avoid further contact, mentioned that someone could come back to my house later...yes he said that to me. I then suggested that I am not Hiding behind my door now, and if there was something to be done, he should do it now....this young man then told me he was going to call 911.....and that I was threatening. I get it, I am a veteran with combat experience and evidently intimidating. again I retreated, to a barrage of insults. I did not turn around or respond further to this Human Pest. I then called the Corpus Christi location and gave them my address and contact information. explained to them what Happened, and how I was going to hold them accountable for any damages done to my property from subsequent visits from their team. I further explained to them that I am a vet with PTSD, and the signs on my house are not to ensure my safety, but to protect those that might make a bad decision and think that I am an easy target. let's hope they never return. I am smart enough to wear a body camera when engaging folks these days, as there is always two stories that get told, but the one with Video always wins. the Folks I talked to on the phone at FOX were respectful, and would give them a better review had I not been poked by these kids. read more

Bryce came by Thursday and told us that Fox Pest Control would 1) be available same/next day when we needed them and 2) remove spider webs with service. All you have to do is sign up for 18 month service - if you cancel it is $250! After originally saying no, Bryce said he'll take care of the first month ($75) by Venmoing us the refund. So we said okay - we've been having some ants in the bathroom. So they treat outside but "don't usually come inside" and the guy who did the treatment didn't remove a single spider web - nor even look up to see if there were any to remove (this is on the cameras). He did Venmo the $75. Friday, no change. Saturday ants are everywhere- like the outdoor treatment pushed them in! I'm literally vacuuming piles of ants multiple times in the day. We text Bryce to come back and treat them - he says we must wait and call the office Monday (not shocking, but important). We call the office Monday at 8am to be told they can't come out for a week! So, we say we want to cancel - obviously this company is not legit when it comes to the sales pitch. We are told that since we signed Thursday, we are out of the 3 day cancellation window even though we have texts on Saturday from their employee saying we can't reach them until Monday! We cancelled anyway and have been told we will be charged $250. Bryce has now requested the $75 back via Venmo 3 times - sounds in the verge of harassment. **We called our original pest control guy, from Orkin, back. He came out same day, told me how he would control the ants and what we should expect to happen - lots of dying ants and stragglers for a week - but at least they are dying now! I called and was quick and concise, to ask for a quote in my area. The guy who answered talked about all different kinds of services after I asked specifically for a quote for just routine pest control (I very specifically only asked for a quote for routine pest control, since there is no pricing on the website and the website says to call for a quote). When he eventually gave me prices, I ended with "okay thanks, I just wanted to get a quote so I can talk to my husband and see what we want to do", I was met with a laugh and a rude "thanks for wasting a lot of my time" (the whole call only lasted 3 minutes), then got hung up on. Safe to say I won't be giving a call back to proceed with their service, very unprofessional and rude. read more

First call to customer service resulted in them acknowledging receipt and stating that it will "clear up" and the billing will stop. Well, today (a month later) I get billed again for the same service. Called customer service again and they have no record of payment and now want proof of payment. Tried setting up an appointment for 2/14 between 8 & 10am, tech text me 30 mins before 10 he's on his way. 45 minutes later I tried calling him to see where he was, no answer. Called office, they said he got caught up at another call and asked if I could reschedule for the same time the next day. I paid $225 to have Fox come out and service my apartment for roaches. Within 2 months they reappeared. I was unable to get on an annual contract due to moving, and was told I'd have to pay $160 more (after starting at $325) to have them come out and spray again. This is absolutely the worst service I have ever had from any business. In the middle of buying my house, I contacted Fox Pest Control to perform a termite inspection. I was told in order to do a termite inspection, I needed to become part of "the Fox Family". I signed up, got my initial spray and set up my termite inspection. The termite technician comes out on 11/7 and I express to him I needed the inspection report (WDI report) so I can proceed with my mortgage and he says he will take care of it. He tells me I can sign up for the termite treatment that costs $400 and I asked if that is required and he proceeds to tell me no. He completes his inspection and tells me he will fill out the report and e-mail it to me. 11/8 comes and still no report, I call and the representative says she will contact the tech and get that report to me, it never happens. 11/9 arrives and I call again requesting the report and they send me an invoice. I call again requesting the report and they tell me they will send me the report with the technicians notes. I submitted that and my mortgage officer says he needs the actual form mentioned above. I call back and Fox Pest Control says in order to get that form, I need to sign up for the $400 service because if not they can get sued. I pay for the service and I am assured they will be out that evening to put the traps and the tech will get me my termite inspection form, guess what, that never happens. I call today, 11/10 and ask when the tech will be out and once again they tell me first thing and the termite supervisor will be out. I wait and call back hours later and someone else tells me the tech will be out this afternoon, then the termite supervisor will have to sign off on the inspection. The Technician then calls me up and proceeds to tell me he is being sent back to my house and asks me if I want the termite protection plan, WHICH I HAD ALREADY PAID FOR, so I have some choice words for him and ask to speak to his supervisor. He tells me he will have him call me back and 10 minutes later, the tech calls me back and says they can't provide me a WDI report because they are not qualified, leaving me up a creek in the last minute. Each person I talk to seems to not know what they are doing, proceeds to tell me something different each time on what the process is for this evolution, and gives empty promises on "we are trying to resolve this issue sir" when they can't even let me know what I need to get this form, can't tell me the correct times they can get these technicians out to my house, and, in my opinion, don't really think they know what they are doing. Save yourself he trouble and find yourself a better Pest control provider, because these guys are something else. Luckily, I contacted Esparza Pest Control (361-851-1773) and they were able to come out last minute, provided me a termite inspection, and the WDI report that I need to close on my house. read more

My experience with Fox Pest was that I attempted to cancel the contract due to financial consideration but despite 2 emails to their website cancelling my service I was still charged $153 because a lady told me, I did not orally notify them, despite the fact my written gave me no such notice. Hard to contact by phone ... must not have local people. They work during the same hours most people work so I am never at home when they come. Last time left note saying gates were locked and could not do service. Gates were not locked ... the tech just didn't want to do the job. Upon my initial call I let them know that I was having rodent issues specifically in the attic. When the associate arrived he sprayed the exterior of the house and placed traps down and was then told he couldn't go in the attic and could only poke his head in. He did throw some rat poison blocks but did not place any traps.When i got the invoice I called in and ask exactly how many traps were placed and was told two and they couldn't tell me where. I also informed them that because of the rodent issue they had chewn through a condensation line in the attic that if not fixed could cause ceiling damage due to moisture. That's a $600 bill to fix. I stressed to the agent that answered I had a rodent issue specifically in the attic and that i needed someone to go up there and place traps because i didn't want to have the condensation line fixed only to have it messed up again. i was reassured that they would have someone go up and place the traps. The person that showed up all be it nice did not go into the attic. He did however give me traps i could place up in the attic on my own at my request. Very disappointed with this service and and will not be using it moving forward. I did speak to a very nice agent Angel who was able to provide me with a partial refund after offering to have someone else come out to placar traps. Although nice i am past having to repeat myself a third time. read more

Robert is polite and professional and does a excellent job.He answers any questions I have and always knows my name. So a salesman came to my door and solicited pest control service....I was charged $99.59 for the service that hadn't even been performed yet and he assured me that he would be back to perform the service!! He had me sign a "contract" of some sort and that put me at the mercy of this corporate "chain" pest control company!! I told the guy I worked on the boat and would prefer he do the service while I'm there but supposedly he showed up while I'm not there and did the service and my family has no recollection of them showing up!? Long story short, they ran the transaction for the $99.59 which I refused to pay and they sent it to collections which I ended up paying anyway...I took a hit on my credit over a no name company for $99 bucks...my advice and what I do now is shop local and pay them as the service is performed, that way you ensure quality and quantity of service not show up when they want to!!
