I would highly recommend them based on my two experiences with their plumber JD. JD came to our home 2 1/2 years ago to run some gas lines and install a tankless water heater, so when I needed a water line capped in my wall I called Graf and asked that JD was assigned to my job. He is thorough, efficient, and cleans up when he is done. I was a little concerned where the cost would end up on a time and materials job, but it was a fair price for the work done. The only issue I had was the that their answering service did not relay my message, so I had to call back the next day to set the appointment. I cannot vouch for their other plumbers, but JD is great and I will use him for any job that I can't handle. read more

Fifteen minutes later, I get a text saying that a plumber is on the way. A.J. was very professional and answered all of my questions. He explained the different options that I had available to me and was upfront with the pricing. He was very thorough with his work and didn't mind me watching and learning from him. I had them replace a water heater on my grandmothers house, I'm not from the area so I asked someone and Graf was recommended. They charged me $2250 to replace a water heater. When I requested an itemized receipt, it took them a week to "prepare" it. They obviously created the invoice to match my price because they had the wrong price in the invoice. When I brought it to their attention I got crickets....no response at all. The invoice also stated a 4 hour job to replace a water heater cost $600 in labor. I'm not an expert but that hourly rate is way above the industry average. They were quick to respond, I will give them that but they completely took advantage of my situation and I don't feel like they have any integrity. read more

Graf plumbing broke my trust with the visit I had last week. I am a repeat customer, and I will not be using them again. In short, the Graf employee Jeremy used a shady tactic to try to pressure me into replacing a 5.5 yr old tankless water heater unit. See details below. My tankless water heater started turning off after running for 10 mins, so we called Graf to come take a look. I was at work, so my wife was with Jeremy when he did some inspections and general cleaning of the unit, but that didn't fix the problem. The Jeremy recommended replacing the unit for around $1600-$1800 even though it's only 5.5 years old. I called to speak to him while he was still there. He said if the issue was the motherboard, it would only cost about $350 to fix. When he left, my wife called all frantically saying that now the hot water doesn't work at all! It was working for 10 mins at a time before he came! How am I supposed to do the dishes? Take a shower? Laundry? I calmed her down and took a look when I got home. Jeremy bent the safety switch on the door back so it wouldn't make any hot water at all. That's a pretty damn shady way to make a sale. read more

Needed a small repair to a leaking shower head. Very responsive..plumber was available almost immediately. Now I know why. He was at the house for a short time and then left to go get a part. I understand it may take a bit longer because we live on padre island, but he was gone an inordinate amount of time. Total bill was nearly $400 for a job that he actually worked on for roughly 30 minutes. I get travel time needs to be accounted for but that was price gouging at $128/hour for labor. Roughly $250 to go get his parts. At that price, I'm glad he didn't clean up the mess in the shower or it would have cost even more. Won't use again and I recommend asking where they are traveling to and how long they expect to be gone when going to get part. And expect to pay $128/hour for their trip. read more

Extremely satisfied with the service on our water heater. From the follow-up on the initial call to the professionalism shown by our onsite plumber, it went great. He (Adrian) got our water heater back online in no-time and saved us money by using and replacing the parts with ones I purchased instead of charging more to replacing something that we all believed still has life. This was a real blessing with Christmas around the corner. We had another company quote a replacement water heater without looking at ours first. My AC secondary condensation pan was backing up so I called Graf Plumbing to fix the issue. The technician verified that the pipe was backed up and clean it out, and told me that I could use a compressor to blow out the drain if it happened again, and then charged me $134 for this visit. He did not tell me anything else was wrong with my drainage pipes. One week later, the secondary pan is backed up again. I called Graf to ask if a plumber could come back and actually FIX the unlying problem (which I assumed he had done during his visit). They contacted their technician and informed me that he had told them that my pipe was too small and needed to be replaced. He had NOT informed me of this issue, as I would have wanted the replacement completed. He said it was cost $600-$1000 and the $134 he charged me for blowing out the pipe the week before would not be credited to me to use toward the $600-$1000. The Graf plumber did not assess the primary condensation pan and figure out why it was overflowing, he did not communicate the underlying issue of my drainage pipe being too narrow, AND Graf Plumbing provided poor customer service when I called trying to sort out the problem. Overpriced, poor quality workmanship, poor communication (even a little dishonest), and poor customer service. Will NOT ever use or recommend this company read more

We called Graf Plumbing Monday morning 6/27/16, regarding 3 plumbing issues we had and were told someone could come out that afternoon between 1 & 4 to check them. We expected to have to wait some time for the actual repairs to be done - were pleasantly surprised when Don came at 11 (after first calling to be sure that time was all right) and said he could take care of all three that day! He left to get his helper, Jonathan, and the two of them efficiently, professionally and courteously fixed all 3 before 3 p.m., at a very reasonable price - AND gave us a senior discount without us asking for one!
