My husband, just having retired as a cardiologist, had a colleague that recommended Esquire Estate Sales. We went ahead and interviewed three estate sale companies and chose Esquire. We were nervous about the process, but Kevin (the owner) made us feel at ease from the very beginning. I was so impressed with his team (it looked like they were having so much fun and really enjoyed their work). Since Rob and I had collected antiques from our vast travels, I just didn't want to "give them away". Fortunately, Esquire had an appraiser on staff--she even knew everything about my mother's Italian china. Anyways, the sale went great and since the house closing was a week after the sale, I was petrified that it wouldn't be ready. After the sale and the cleanout, I walked back into the house for the first time. I broke into tears of joy. I never thought anybody could get it done. The house was perfect and ready for the new owners (keep in mind, we had a LOT of stuff). Kevin told us that a lot of our items went to antique dealers and collectors which made me feel good that our pieces went to good homes.
