There were three counter people, dark haired woman about 40 yrs old, grey haired woman 60+ and a young man about 30yrs old. Each one of them essentially told me to go away. They could not give me the name or phone number or e mail of a person to speak to. ( Of course i have full construction plans in pdf). That afternoon i went to the RBS web site and sent a message to "estimating" asking where i could send my plans for a quote. Two days later and no response. I only build one house every two years or so and I'm sure my 500-600 thousand order is small potatoes to RSB but you would think they would make an effort. The counter people sit in a beautiful showroom and can sell you a shovel or wheelbarrow but they are otherwise incompetent. They really could not be bothered. My assistant who was with me was appalled. But you know what, I would bet that the Goodale owners would not be happy to know how things work below them. No sense going back.

In the process of moving, a solid wood headboard was damaged (appears to have been dragged on the ground) and they refuse to compensate even though the Bill of Lading specifies they will take responsibility. Fast forward, 15 months, Premier Moving still refuses to pay a negotiated, reduced amount that is owed to me for the damage (despite having provided them with various screenshot quotes from local furniture repair). Phone calls and texts have gone unanswered for 3 weeks now. Here is the kicker, my Bill of Lading said they were insured with CSI. When I reached out to the insurance company within the 9-month window for disputes stipulated in my contract, the phone representative said they had never heard of Premier Moving & Labor and would be looking into the matter. Premier moving also actively discouraged me from reaching out to their insurance company during the process. Moral of the story: you get what you paid for and I hope my bad experience is cautionary warning for anyone contemplating a move. I have been patient and professional throughout this process and I wish I could say the same for Premier Moving.

The 1b 1b apartment is not very popular around the eastern long island. Many brokers don't do rental here. The other brokers either showed me one and urged me to take it or even showed me none for days. Randy checked the listings for me every day, talked to me, adjust the searching each time, and gave me more suggestions based on my needs. Most importantly, she is a friend who really cares about my needs and she stood on my side against the crappy listings! She worked over weekends and late night for me (I got her email once at about 1am). Whenever there's a new listing that looks good, she let me know quickly. it was very nice talking to her every time and I'm very glad to know her! I will recommend her to all my friends who need real estate service!
