Words cannot adequately…read moreexpress our appreciation to Melissa Howard and Dawg Dynasty for their outstanding and loving care of our dog Macie during the Christmas Holidays. The facility was immaculate and well equipped. The kennels were large with elevated pet beds and blankets. We were also allowed to bring Macie's bed to help her feel at home, as well as her favorite toys. The outside play area was securely fenced and offered a covered area for those reluctant to relieve themselves in the rain. There were also elevated beds for those guests wanting to enjoy the sun. Much to our (and other family member's) delight, pictures were regularly shared of our pup enjoying her Christmas vacation with "new friends". Santa even appeared on Christmas Eve and left each pup a stocking full of toys and treats. It's difficult to leave a furbaby anytime, but Dawg Dynasty treats their " four-legged guests" like beloved family members. Although this was our first stay, we cannot imagine boarding Macie at any other facility.

They claimed they couldn't do his nails because he wouldn't let them that he was biting and chewing on all the tools and biting them so they had to put him in a crate to dry. He was not only wet but soap was still all over his head, neck, thorax and flank and was partially clumsy drying in. Then his nails were not all finished just a fee clipped and in the worst way possible. We took him to another groomer immediately to get him washed properly and the nails fixed and they seen where his nails were cut badly. They said he was a well behaved pup that wanted to give loves but did not chew or misbehave at all for them. Skeens should be ashamed to allow this.

Our dog Aries was scheduled for a neuter procedure on February 12th at All About Animals Veterinary Clinic, along with removal of an extra dew claw and microchipping. Prior to the appointment, we asked on three separate occasions for an estimate. Right before the procedure, my wife received a text stating the estimate would be $525, with a note that additional items like microchipping could increase the cost. What I don't understand is why, after clearly communicating everything we wanted done ahead of time, the estimate did not reflect the total expected cost. When we checked out, the bill came to $621.66. Even accounting for about $20 in toys, that's still a noticeable difference from what we were told. When I asked to speak with a manager, I was met with a very dismissive and curt response from the office manager. I later learned his name was Tyler, I'm pretty sure. From the start, his tone made it clear he was not open to the conversation. When I mentioned the $525 estimate we received via text, he immediately told me that we did not receive that message. Only after my wife pulled it up and showed him did he step away to look into it further. While he did later acknowledge the note about potential additional charges, my concern remains that the estimate did not reflect the full scope of services we had already requested multiple times. The interaction itself was unnecessarily tense and, at times, felt confrontational. Unfortunately, the experience didn't end there. A few days later, it appeared that our dog's stitches may have split open. I contacted the clinic and was asked to send photos, which we did. We were told someone would review them and call us back. We never received a call. I also reached out directly to the owner via text, politely asking for a call to discuss our experience. The message was read, but I never received a response. Thankfully, our dog healed without further issue, but the lack of follow-up--especially when there was a potential post-surgical concern--was very disappointing. Overall, the communication, customer service, and follow-through did not meet expectations. We have since chosen to go elsewhere for veterinary care.

Her misdiagnosis of a common problem almost lead to the death of my ferret. How one mistakes adrenal disease for fleas is beyond me but he's doing fine now thanks to the Ashland animal clinic , which actually does care and shows that rather than repeatedly telling their clients this in a monotone voice. On top of that she over charges for all services and medication by almost double! She doesn't seem to understand the relationship people have to their pets as I have fought when I found a vet that does. She would take me usually calm ferret in the back for all tests poor thing would often require multiple tries with blood work because she said he squirmed. The vet I use now doesn't have this problem as he lets me hold my fur baby and guess what no squirming no needle bruises! Online research is discouraged by her as is asking anyone who raises similar pets I don't know how it is for dogs and cats but with exotics there are parent communities of people including other vets who communicate everything from the best toys to common health issues! I understand not wanting people to override your diagnosis with the animal version of web MD but honestly especially with exotic pets research is important! Discouraging it to the point this vet does makes her seem as though she has a god complex.
