I do not recommend this salon. They are extremely over priced for the quality of work. The nail lady was rude and one nail had to be fixed 3 times(the last time I came back to the salon for her to redo the nail. picture below) when I went back to the salon she did redo half the nail so now it wont chip off... but yikes. It was just a simple gel set with one color... not that difficult. **update 5 of the nails have completely chipped off due to the gel being too thick. Last minute decision to run into town and get my nails done really quick. I got there at 1103, they open at 11. They were already a bit busy for a Sunday am, asked me to come back at 1130. No problem, I walked around the "mall" or lack there of....returned at 1130 and was promptly called in by David. While I was perusing the mall, I started reading reviews about the place as I'd never been here, and after reading the reviews I should have just left. Decided to give them a shot, and so glad I did. All I had really decided was that I wanted a fill with a lighter color, and asked if I could try the dip powder fill. He said yes of course, and asked if I likes the ombré colors, and asked my favorite colors. David proceeded to amaze me with this pink and white ombré nail that looks so natural and very pretty. We had good conversation, the equipment was clean, and he was very nice. Squeezed in a pedicure afterwards and had a very positive experience. My nails are beautiful, very pleased. I went here on Friday March 26th 2021 and I had a appt at 1:45pm, I waited for about a hour until I was seen, when I told them what I wanted I got a judgment look and like a little chuckle from the lady when I said what I wanted, when she started doing my nails I asked for coffin but they did stiletto..she was very aggressive and honestly looked like she didn't know what she was doing. We made an appointment and when we showed up they got us in within 5 minutes (we were about 15 minutes early). The two people that did our nails were very friendly and talked to us a bunch and asked us questions which I really like because it didn't feel awkward. My nails turned out really pretty, just plain acrylic with a nude and glitter polish. My friend got French tips which she liked but she was a little upset about the price. Mine were only 35 dollars and hers were 50 and honestly my manicure looked a little more high end. I'm writing this two weeks later, my nails are still on, just in time for a fill. High priced for the horrible work my daughter and I received. We both got full sets, and before I forget.... customer service was HORRIBLE. Their website gives impression that they do nail art, they DO NOT, someone attempted to handpaint stars on my daughter's nails. After we walked out, my daughter showed me that the girl actually painted a PENTAGRAM on one of her nails. My nails have blobs of acrylic on almost every other nail. I do not recommend this place, the manicure and the service were both way below average.

I'm from Seattle and I've been getting my nails done for years. I ended up needing to see someone while I was in the area so I went to this company. I took my daughter with me and we went to our scheduled appt a little early. They did get us in right away but once we sat down, the experience went downhill in a pretty rapid fashion. I explained to the tech what I'd like and I showed him a picture of my previous set. He was watching the TV the whole time and was so aggressive with the nail file that he kept missing my nails and filing my skin cause he wasn't paying attention. It was so uncomfortable! He also has headphones on and it was so loud with heavy rock music that he couldn't hear me when I talked to him. I picked a glitter gel polish and he was in such a hurry that he only did two coats which left it fairly see through. I was so anxious to get out of there though that I didn't even bother asking for a third coat. The tech who did my daughters nails was far more attentive and for that, this is a two star and not a one star. That said, she did clip her cuticles pretty low and made her bleed on two fingers. It was very disappointing. And then, at the end when I went to pay, he gave me the receipt and told me where I could add a tip. I was so shocked I just stared at it for a second. This was a very disappointing experience for myself and my two daughters. It was supposed to be girls day with gel manicures. The First Lady talked on her phone the entire time and didn't say one word to my daughter the whole time she sat there for her first gel manicure as did the man doing my other daughters, they are 11&8. The lady the did mine pushed me to do a dip one when I asked repeatedly for gel then did a very poor job with smoothing and shaping. They look horrible. I left telling them I would not be back and I wasn't happy at all with my nails. There was no offer to correct my nails. Customer service is severely lacking as is quality and effort to talk to customers or make them feel welcome. If possible I would of given less than a star rating. read more

The first time i stopped by this salon, i was content with the nail job and service i received. It was not the best but it was acceptable for a small town. Nothing much to expect from a nail salon in the mall. So i decided to come back again due to the convenience of being able to walk in. But thats the end of a good story. Unfortunately this time, it was not so great. The guy that did my nails was being such a smartmouth to me. When you are giving a service, i think its very rude to talk back to your client, especially if its something that they want done! I picked out a polish and he told me that I needed to pick out a different color because this would require 3 coats for him to do. He didnt feel like putting on an extra coat of polish?!?!? Plus, i was so unsatisfied with the polish job. It was so far from my cuticles, I could have done a better job. It looked like my nails have grown out for 3 weeks. Its either they have bad lighting in there or his eyesight is just very poor (obviously he already has glasses). After 5 days all my gel polish chipped off!! The way he talked, just sounded like he was so unhappy to do my nails, and I should not bother him anymore. Gosh, i just wanted the service to be done so i could get out of there. I dont think i will be back for awhile, especially if the chance is to get him again. After talking to a close friend who experienced the same with this guy, we both will stay away from this place! she was so unhappy with her pink and white nails. The white was uneven, and looked like someone from the nail school did it. DISAPPOINTMENT! And when I said something the price jumped 10.00 extra for each fix. Came in with 4 gals, for a family fun day to get pedicures. Website states bring in 4, get one free. The gal at the front desk and another she called up would not honor it. Said it was for birthdays only and on the actual birth date. Decided to let our daughters get pedi instead. Since we were delayed at desk, the technician kept hurrying them, saying we have 10:30 appt. (We came in at 10, with appts for 4). Work was rushed, not impressive. I am a tourist who spent a week and half running or hiking in Montana. I needed a pedicure and my feet were a disaster! They were able to get me in as a walk-in with no wait time but got busy and had a 30 minute wait almost as soon as I sat down. The pedicure was $35 and worth every dollar. Since I wrote the review below, David, one of the owners, contacted me to offer a free pedicure to "make it right." That says a lot about his desire to make his business better and that he cares about the customer experience. So I'm going to add an extra star. I would still recommend Nailtoepia at this time over Foxy Nails. I also like High Tech Nails next to the Japanese restaurant Midori in front of Home Depot. Its important for me to be able call and/or walk-in and get an appointment fairly quickly and both of those places offer this, with an end result that makes me very happy. Worst pedicure I have ever had, the lady was in such a hurry that I felt I was just an inconvenience to her (she was in a rush to read her magazine). She only did a quick scrub on my feet with a blue scrubby thing and that was it, most pedicures I have had take 45 mins this one was done in 15, she only massaged one leg not both, they only do one coat of colour and no top coat. While I was waiting for my nails to dry I noticed she passed the tools to another staff me member without sterilizing the tools. My advice save your money and go some where else.BEWARE. read more

Had my first Montana mani/pedi today. Although at first I was dismayed thinking this service was a little overpriced, being from Florida were the same service is $15. cheaper. After the care I received, it was money well spent. My nail tech, Ricky, was the nicest young man. Intelligent college student working for summer. Props to him. I was treated to a frozen, smoothie type drink that I picked off of a menu, and then received a fabulous pedicure followed by my manicure. This group is personable and the store is immaculate. Just as many business in Kalispell - this one started off well - with fairly good customer service and a clean environment with licenses techs. Unfortunately, there has been a HUGE decline in all of the above. Most notably is the quality of care given to proper technique and hygiene. My nails burned when placed under the light to cure the gel polish multiple times. I asked the tech why this occurred and I was told "just put them back in the light, it will stop." I googled it, you should too. It shouldn't be happening. I also noticed that the techs took the time to wear a mask to protect themselves, but gave no thought to the cleanliness of their tools or tables. There were nail clippings from other customers on the tables, dust from the grinder from other customers and theTools weren't sterilized between customers. I watched them as I waited. I felt awkward, as an English only speaking customer, when I witnessed the owner using Vietnamese to clearly demean one of her workers, while he was working on my nails. Very unprofessional and distracting to the nail tech. I swear, I felt the tech taking his frustrations at the owner out on my nails. It made me wondered if she spoke about her clients that way while they sat right in front of her or when they walked out the door. I liked this place in the beginning, but I would NOT recommend it to anyone mow. But after talking with some of my "nail wearing" friends, it seems they agree and don't go to this salon any more either. Google what your gel nail experience should be like. It doesn't include using painful grinders to remove your old gel, it encourages soaking. Google will tell you that it SHOULD NOT burn to put your nails under the curing light, they are doing it wrong! And Google will tell you how tools should be properly sanitized based on health department standards. My suggestion is to check the license of your specific nail tech, is their name really one of the names of the papers thumb tacked to the wall???Ask questions before you accept painful treatment. It's really too bad because I like to support local businesses. But from now on, I will only go to a salon who does nails using the proper technique to apply and remove color. There are plenty of other people/salons in town that will make you comfortable, use the proper techniques for applying, removing and cleaning. You won't leave feeling worse than when you went it. This should be a good experience, you pay for it...it's not cheap! Be cautious, ask questions and don't go somewhere they are attempting to make a quick $$. Paid 45$ for a pedicure. The gentleman barely scrubbed my feet. It doesn't even look like I got a pedicure, paid extra for the French style and the lines are off and white polish all over my toes, never shaped the nails, or removed dead skin. Wham-Bam-Thank-You-Mam! Just spent $35 to have my toenails painted. One of the worst pedicures I've ever had. Probably took 20 minutes. Never clipped or filed my toenails. Barely used the cuticle cutters nor the foot scrubber. Rubbed salt on my legs, rinsed, painted, and done. No lotion on legs or feet. (Had to ask for some.) I have dry, cracked feet, and they didn't look a bit different when I left. I'm going down to Mexico for a week and wanted to show off my pretty feet by the pool. Very unimpressed with the customer service and hidden fees that this nail salon has to offer. Initially, I got a full set of nails done this summer and I was very impressed with them. They were exactly what I wanted and they were extremely durable. I hadn't had fake nails from August until the first week of this month. I got french tips done the 2nd December and by December 11th, they were lifting really bad and had partially broken off. I was very disappointed as not only did the man initially tell me that they were going to be $35 and ended up charging me $45, but I barely had them for ten days and they were lifting/breaking off my nails. I was not able to come back in immediately as I was out of town, however, I took a picture which also showed the date that they started lifting. I went into the salon today and showed the lady what was going on with my nails, and she assured me that I would get a discount/money off due to their poor quality. I clearly pointed out which color of polish that I wanted, and she initially put the wrong color of polish on my nails and got irritated when I politely pointed out that it was not the color that I wanted. She then put a different color of polish on my nails which was still the wrong color, but at this point I just wanted the whole process to be over with. The lady was very rude the entire time and talked on her phone the whole time. At one point, I kindly asked her if she could file one nail a little more as it was crooked and she sighed loudly but she didn't say anything. She was much more interested in playing on her phone than providing decent customer service and doing my nails. Finally, we went to the checkout and she refused to tell me the total. She grabbed my card and ran it while she chatted away on her phone. When I got my receipt, I noticed that she charged me $40 for a simple fill (with no design) and did not give me the discount that she assured me she would give me. I went to foxy nail for a fill... they were running twenty minutes behind schedule but I waited patiently. He did my nails so quickly, but they looked great. However, a few days later they started chipping off. My nails in my hometown usually last two weeks. It had not even been four days. I called them and told them that I needed some repairs. Giving them the benefit of the doubt, thinking he would make them look perfect again or glue/fix some nails that were already coming apart I went back in... I showed up told them that it had been only a few days... a different man then fixed my nails and painted them. I think they would have been better looking if my husband did them. Not only was it the worst repair job ever, I need to repaint them myself because it was so horrible. THEN they had the shock to charge me as well.
