I called ahead to make 2 appointments for 5:30 PM, I arrived and they let me know they had me down for 5:45 instead (ok no big deal). We were not seen at that time either, we continued to wait for another 30 min until we were serviced. The customer service was great, but our nails weren't. I asked for a short french tip with dip and this is the result. During my visit I communicated that one of the tips were crooked and she told me to trust the process, I did, but the end result was the same. Personally I do like the people there and the prices are fair as I paid $45 for this set. I just wish the nails were much better. They look chunky, crooked and discolored in some areas. The male Who did my nails hurt me multiple times. I was bleeding and he continued to target the area. I asked him to stop before I had to scoot back in my chair using my hands to say no like stop doing that because you could see the blood on my fingers. He didn't do any sort of cuticle cleanup no sort of cutting. He left the rest of my hands covered in dip polish all over. No sort of massage or anything that I paid for but by the time I was finished an hour and a half later I could no longer tolerate being there. I counted the number of times he said I'm sorry and I tracked to be 19 in an hour and a half. The nails do not look good, they are dip and are very very sick. I've never had somebody do my nails where they look so thick. I have had to take Tylenol because my fingers hurt so bad. I'm disappointed. I give 2 stars because for the pedicure I did get a foot soak and a polish change. Went through the motions on the cuticle clean up...pushed tool on big toe nail bed...no cuticle scissors and pumice stone for callous removal was similar... get stone wet, put lotion on bottom of foot and barely press for a couple rounds around my foot...barely rubbed on the exfoliating scrub on left leg and one wipe around to spread it on the right leg. Started polishing toes then remembered lotion so guess what....no foot massage. Sucks because the lady next me me was being done right by a guy who was looking over at my guy a bunch. Did I mention 10 min of acetone touch up on a single color polish? Ridiculous...he had someone else finish. Go somewhere else where they give consistent services.. I won't be back here again...too many other places to pick from. read more

They were very behind when I showed up for my appointment. Then, the guy who did my nails was very unprofessional and rushed through my pedicure. He didn't ask me how I wanted them (round or square) or if I was satisfied with the color or afterwards if I needed the sandals that they have. As he finished, he just said "Thank you" and left. He must have forgotten that I scheduled a manicure too and I had to track him down again. He did the manicure at the pedicure chairs and rushed through that too as everything got over all of my clothing. The nails are rough and uneven, even after I complained to him to smooth them out. I have gone to Foxy Nails 4 or 5 times now and have been impressed every time. Most recently I've had Thida the past two visits and she is amazing! So many of the nail techs are up to date on trends are able to do so much. I've done both acrylic and dip and have loved everything they've done. Especially because they drill down the nails after applying them so they arent big and bulky! Thida, Judy, and Bene are great to work with and so fun to talk to! I've been several times and most the nail techs are really good. I would give the nail techs four stars. My overall concern is with the owner- she should get a zero rating. Like another reviewer mentioned, appointment times are not honored. Yesterday I made several arrangements fall into place to allow me to take my elderly mom and aunt here to have manicures while I had mine nails done too. Three appointments all for 9:30. I had them with Judy and Lisa as I knew they would do a good job and be friendly. My appointment was with Tim who is fast and also does a great job. Their appointments were started on time. But Tim had just started on another manicure at 9:30. So I waited. And waited. While his customer was processing he had me sit in the station next to his so he could start on my nails. The customer who he had been working on (in my time slot) was being friendly told me it was 'her fault' Tim was running late because she was a walk in customer. She told me the owner had insisted Tim take her. I guess she didn't think I'd mind. While I'm not going to be mean about it or make a scene, I did mind. A lot. My mom and aunt ended up just sitting off to the side and waiting over 30 minutes for me to be finished. After our manicures, I was going to take them shopping- something we never get to do. But because it took so long, we couldn't. I knew exactly how long we had - that is why I made appointments. My question to the owner -- What is the point of offering appointments if you don't intend to honor them? This was nothing but GREED in you wanting more money even though it meant pushing back another customer who had made an appointment. read more

Literally terrible. I'm pretty sure the man who did my manicure wasn't licensed. He had no idea what he was doing. Didn't file my nails, cut my left hand cuticles 3x when there was nothing to cut to the point it hurt. And my nails are half painted. Unorganized, rather rude, and lackluster place. Went here with a pal on a rainy Saturday afternoon in search of a reasonably priced mani/pedi. After walking in we stood there, and stood there, and finally someone took notice of us and asked what we wanted (literally, "What do you want?"). We asked for a spa mani/pedi and were told to "get polish." Literally. No "glad to see you and have your business," etc. After finding some nail polish, we didn't know where to go or what to do. Finally we just sat ourselves down on a spa chair and laid my nail polish on the table next to the chair. When the dude who said he would do my nails finally came by, he moved some stuff around and then couldn't find the nail polish I chose. "Go back, get more." As if I was the one who lost it. By now I was barefoot with wet feet, but fine, I'll walk barefoot across your gross floor and choose more. The "spa" part of the massage was no better. At first the water was way too hot, and when I asked him gently to cool it down a bit, he turned the cold water on and kept it on, even after I told him it was now freezing. Ugh. He chatted with his friend at the chair next to us the whole time and never made any attempt to listen to me ask him questions or try to talk. Another guy did my fingernails and had the same attitude, as if I was interrupting him with my business. Besides, my manicure chipped off within 4 days. Will never be back. read more

I went in there the day before my bridal shower because I was thinking of having this be the place we have my bachelorette party at. I wanted to treat myself & try out the gel manicure because I've never done it before. The girl that did my nails was about the same age as me & was very sweet, but that was about the only good thing I experienced. The guy that did my toes was talking on his phone most of the time & ended up exfoliating my left leg too long. He did apologize, but if he was paying attention to what he was doing it wouldn't have been a problem. Also once he finished he didn't fully clean the edges of some of my toes so I still had polish on my skin. The girl that did my nails messed up the length of my left hand. She did apologize for the miscommunication, but I used my real nail & you can't fix too short & bad shape once it's already there sometimes. She then left little rough spots on some of my nails in the gel. I'm not sure if this is normal, but it definitely didn't seem normal. When it was all said & done I didn't even get a slight discount for them messing up the length & shape of a whole hand of nails. I still tipped 15% because that's just who I am. I normally always tip 20% so it was lower than usual, but we won't be having my bachelorette party there. Very sad. All they had to do was a good job on what I went in there for & they would have gotten a lot of business from me. Now they'll be missing out. read more

Okay so I'm not even keen on giving reviews but this place got on my nerve. My friend brought me here because she recommended this place to me and honestly I wished I didn't listen to her. The first time I came here they gave me a dude who got attitude on his face, gave me blotchy nail polish job and acrylic underneath my nail. I was talking to my friend because we haven't seen each other for a long time, and he had the nerve to complain about me "talking too much it hurts his head" like okay am I talking to you? I tried to give them a second chance and they gave me another dude who file my nails so damn thin it hurts. One of my finger was even bleeding! I then asked him if he could do these designs but literally from the most complicated to the simple one he said no. They don't got anything!!! I settled for a simple matte design with a few lines and he messed it up, got all moody at me because he forgot I asked for matte nails and he painted it with glossy color. After he was done my nails hurt and got a bunch of dust trapped under the nail polish. I called them afterward to complain about it, they said they will have it fixed for me so I told them I'm gon come back Monday. And when I came back, they weren't available to fix it for me because THEY DIDN'T KNOW I WAS GONNA COME BACK. Oh yeah also, one of their technicians had a bad attitude to a customer and she furiously left, and they had to the guts to say "We don't need a Black customer anyway." Let me list out the reasons: 1. Clean salon. Each and every time I visit, the salon is spotless. 2. Helen is the owner, and knows most of her clients by name. She does top notch work and demands the same of her staff. 3. The nails look great every time. Gel polish stays on a solid 2 weeks and acrylics are always shaped properly (if you've had them shaped poorly before, you know what I mean here). 4. Very reasonable pricing for the quality offered. I went there for the first time today. I was seated quickly, and the male nail technician spoke perfect English. He did a very nice fill with gel polish, and he did it quickly, with me being in and out in a little less than an hour. The decor is very attractive, and the salon appeared to be very clean. The only thing missing for me was a smile or two, and an air of warmth, or friendliness, or appreciation for my business. I understand they do a lot of business, and perhaps they don't need new clients, but, even though I left a 25% tip, as the work deserved it, I was not even asked to come again at another time. We waited for over 20 minutes and we didn't sit together at all. It smells like they clean the floor with nail polish remover and I'm very irritated with this service. Never coming here again.
