I came in an hour before they closed so it was rushed and she ended re dipping two fingers but she dremelled down too far on more than two and now the edges looks patchy. Paid $45 plus 18% tip. Kinda disappointed. Had a good experience two weeks ago with a male tech. Update: Took a couple of days to get all the odd black bits to wash off. Two weeks later the top coat is not holding up great but non of them are pulling off my natural nail which is pretty awesome! I specifically asked if they could do cow print and a cactus when I scheduled my appointment and they confirmed they could. The technician I had was in so much of hurry and was all over the place. He couldn't even wait for my design to dry before putting top coat on which smeared it all over. My orange nails now have a milky topcoat. The reference picture I gave has a very obvious matte topcoat but he didn't tell me they couldn't do matte until he was already putting the shiny top coat on. I have been going to Nail Perfection. There are nice people there, but today I had the worst time of my life. The customer service was horrible. There is a short women, about 2 1/2 feet tall, she behaved just like a bad teenager. She had a bad attitude, smacked, and threw a tantrum like a crazy person. When I told her just to fix one thing for me about my nails, which were sloppy, she said "your nails are bad, not me" and I said, "I know, but you can fix it", and she said "If you want it better, you can go somewhere else and never come back here again." She was so nice to all the white and asian people in there, yet she was racist to me, an African American women. I would not want any black person to go there. I have never seen a human behave like a wild animal like this. Anyways, there are other nice people in there, but I dont know where that wild animal came from. Me and my daughter went there for a while, but today was bad. I was scared by the way she looked at me, I needed to leave. read more

I went to get an acrylic fill and the nail tech that did my nails that I do not usally have was very rude. She was not careful at all I warned her that my nails were sensitive and she did not acknowledge it. She kept glaring at me and stared and me rudely after I had told her a couple times I was being burnt. Soon after she cut my finger completly and yelled at me. Update: Owner Christine reached out to me and allowed me to come in and get my nails fixed. She was very thorough and took her time to make my nails right. It was a painless and enjoyable experience . It's been a couple days and my nails are still in tact and no peeling has occurred. I am glad I gave them another chance and would recommend them from my latest experience. Original review: I came here because of the good reviews i read. I got a dip nail set and it is the worst dip I've ever had. The technician didn't even bother to soak off my previous dip nails she just used the grinder till my fingers were burning. She put tips on to even out the length and when she went to cut the nail she got the tip of my finger in the scissors. At this point i was in pain and getting incredibly annoyed. I had to keep pointing things out to her like holes with no dip, the fact that my nails weren't even, That she didn't even cover the tips of my nails in color. even after she was done she was just going to leave my nails a mess and i had to ask her to clean them up. I seriously began to wonder if she even does nails. Here's the real kicker! The nails gel coat started peeling two days later! The nails started breaking and coming off 6 days after! It's been only about a week and a half and i had to have the nails removed because they looked so bad. I have had dip nails for a couple years and the set i came in with was on for 5 weeks!!. This salon is first and foremost very reasonable on pricing which is great. I'm very picky with my nails (I get acrylics) so I was anxious to find a new place when I moved here but they do a great job! My nail shape is always consistent and they have a huge range of colors, especially nudes which can sometimes be scarce. The staff is always very nice and after your first visit they already recognize you when you come in and treat you like a friend. Would definitely recommend. read more

The worst manicure and pedicure I've ever had. I only chose this place because of the rating and I am beyond disappointed. The man that did my nails with rude and did not seem happy to be there and the finished product of both my manicure and pedicure and were horrible. Update 05/21/19: The salon owner messaged me and told me: "that nail job looked horrible" and offered to fix for free the next day. I couldn't go right back into the salon and tried to schedule an appointment for the day after and they would not accommodate. So I scheduled an appointment for 1pm today. This morning I received a text message stating that there was a family emergency and I would need to come in tomorrow. After telling the person that I was unable to come in tomorrow and today was my only available day, I was asked "Why are you making this so hard." They then offered me a refund and told me I could pick it up today at 3pm. Then asked me to delete the review for the money. I told them I would update the review. At this point, after texting me all morning and confirming a refund, they are asking me to come into the salon to get a fix instead because "the policy says no refunds". I didn't ask for the refund, it was offered to me. Timeline: Saturday - Nails done, wrote review, manager contacted for a fix, I explained I couldn't come in Sunday but could Monday. Sunday - was told to call for an appointment for Monday, when I called, "the guy" couldn't get me in on Monday, so I agreed to Tuesday. Tuesday - they tried to cancel my appointment for the fix. Nail Perfection is my nail salon of choice for many reasons, but mostly because of the familiar faces and quality of work. When I've been forced to use other shops (due to being out of town and I seriously need a fill), I am reminded immediately how different the results can be as I watch my nails chip and break within days. I have never had a broken or chipped nail when the work has been done at Nail Perfection. That tells me that they are using a higher quality product and/or they are only allowing professionally trained nail techs to do the work. I love the nail techs here, but I do have the majority of my work done by Lan. When Lan is out of town I go to Ka. However, they all know my name and take a personal interest in me and my experience. The only recommendation I would have is to expand their current Gel Polish collection. I think Louis is currently working on that, but I can always find something I like and it lasts for two to three weeks!! read more

Then I look at my nails and the white didnt fully cover my natural white underneath after I paid 50 dollars for a regular french acrylic set.
