I am very grateful to have done my training as a CNA here. But the environment and staff was so…read moreincredibly unprofessional and rude. I was in the PM class (4-8pm) and our class and clinical instructor was Ms. Joye. She was very kind but at the start we were having issues feeling like we weren't really learning. No one said much we just collectively studied the material on our own. One day she was out for the day and we got a new instructor, Mr. Irving. He started us off with a test and then sent us off to split up. All of us were confused because we had never done anything like that. He realized the problem was Ms. Joye hadn't been doing that with us. She had told us before she is usually a clinical instructor, so theres some forgiveness for her. She's a very kind older lady. We told him we were having issues because we weren't really learning anything, and he said he would tell Mrs. Hall to see what we could do. The next day she comes in and is just yelling at the class and turning it into our fault that we weren't learning anything. I mean if an entire class says to another instructor that they don't feel like they are learning much, why would you come in and yell at them for not putting in more effort?? That on its own changed everyone's opinion on this school. Mrs. Hall handled that situation in the worst way possible and we were only about a week or so in. Keep in mind we are technically there "after hours" so if we had any issues, there was no other staff that anyone could talk to. Once our next payment came in, I had emailed to ask if I could pay over the phone since we could only come in from 8-2 and I have no way of getting there. Mrs. Hall told me yes and it's ok to do. I called the next day to call and it was the other guy that works there (I can't remember his name I only saw him at registration). I called asking if I can pay over the phone and he was very questionable about it. Then I could hear Mrs. Hall asking (more in a yelling tone) who is on the phone and then she said that it's okay and I can pay over the phone. I'm not sure what happened but I could hear her yelling at him and that alone also made me uncomfortable. But I guess it's none of my business what happens. On the day of our in class physical and TB test, I understand there is definitely some stress going on because everyone is on a strict schedule. But the mood in the rooms was very angry. Mrs. Hall was angry the entire time and I felt like I couldn't ask any questions because she would just yell at me. On the day of passing out our scrubs, she was very clearly in a rush and just wanted to get it over with quickly. Once we started our clinicals at a facility, we had two instructors. Ms. Joye and Mr. Luis. We ended up having issues with some of the staff and let Mr. Luis know about it all. He immediately took action and called the other staff. The next day, Mrs. Hall came to talk to us at the end of that first week. She told us she was sorry for what happened and that she will try to move us to a new facility. Then the next Monday we all were back in class for that day practicing skills. This was the best reaction I saw from her and it showed she was trying to help us. Everything went smoothly at the other facility besides slight miscommunication between the two instructors. On our "graduation" day, Mrs. Hall was absolutely in a rush, and made it very obvious that she was annoyed with the amount of people who had missed days. I never missed any days but I was one of I believe six people who was there everyday throughout the three month period. She was clearly upset about it and that's okay but she was very obvious about it. She was extremely angry because some people kept messing up writing our dates on the new skill sheet. We had to transfer information over, but it didn't fit and some people were confused. She was very angry and yelled at them and made it a big deal if you asked a question to clarify anything. Yes this process took longer than it should've, but there is absolutely no reason to get so angry about people asking clarifying questions. She also provided no further help on how to actually go out and take the State tests. Another classmate asked and she seemed shocked we didn't know how. Once my information was set on the TMU website, I noticed it said I still had to pay $130 for the two tests. I remember at registration I paid for the all inclusive package. I have a picture of that paper. I know exactly what it says. The first thing it says is that they secure the school as your testing location, but she told us many people are going out of town because they haven't been able to get one here. As of today, October 7, there are two things that I technically paid for and have not received. I did not ever receive a gait belt, I was encouraged to buy my own. I also did not get the state tests paid for. That's an extra $145 that they kept from me. My review won't fit on here, please read the rest in the screenshot attached

First of all let me Thank All the office Staff!! Mrs. Nancy, Mrs. Hall, and Edgar!…read more Had somebody told me three months ago that I'd be ready for my CNA certification today, I wouldn't have believed them. The reality is that I found a fantastic school with passionate instructors and staff. The program is designed with the first half in class learning the bookwork, followed by on-site training. The opportunity to start practicing what we learned so quickly was great, and having Mr. Anthony and Mrs. Monica there to instruct and show us how to perform the work was inspirational. I can't say enough how much this program has changed my life, and I feel confident that I'll pass when I take the certification tests. I would recommend that anyone considering the CNA profession talk to them ASAP.

Alright...this is going to be a very real and honest post regarding this school…read more I am a recent graduate of the LVN-RN ADN program. I also attended they're LVN program years before. The ADN program is amazing. What makes it amazing? In 8 months you receive guidance from amazing instructors, you are able to do clinicals at amazing hospitals, and you are adequately equipped to take boards after. 1. I cannot speak anymore highly of the amazing staff. Ms. Cabrera, Ms. Otero, Ms. Salvano, Ms. Cacacho, and many others are very knowledgeable and compassionate for their students. They want you to succeed and help in whatever way they can. 2. These instructors also have worked in these local hospitals and have rapport with many staff members. If you do a good job, you will be noticed. Now, don't be fooled by the negative comments people will make. In order to succeed in this program, you HAVE to give your 100%. DO NOT expect things to be handed to you, DO NOT have a terrible attitude to your classmates or your instructors, and DO NOT whine when things are changed or not going your way. True success in this profession comes to those who give it their all and try they're hardest. Those who take shortcuts may be thriving now, but that will soon end. In a nutshell, if I could go back, I would. This program is amazing. If you work hard and do as you're told, you will succeed and you will make it through this program successful. They provide all the tools to allow that to happen. Good luck to those hoping to apply to this program. It is WORTH it. Thank you Gurnick for everything!

This school presents itself as a professional private institution for healthcare and medical-field…read moretraining. Unfortunately, the reality does not reflect that image. The level of leadership and basic educational direction is extremely poor. The director appears disconnected from even fundamental academic and professional standards expected in a medical training environment. More concerning is the culture inside the school. A large portion of staff behave in a consistently rude and dismissive manner. Basic professionalism something as simple as courtesy, communication, and respect is noticeably absent. For an institution training future healthcare professionals, the environment is deeply troubling. Instead of promoting teamwork, compassion, and ethical conduct, the school tolerates and, in practice, enables behaviors such as bullying, discrimination, and racism. These behaviors are incompatible with healthcare values and should never be normalized in any educational setting especially one responsible for preparing students to care for patients. Students are not encouraged to support one another. Rather, the culture creates hostility, fear of speaking up, and a lack of accountability. Complaints are ignored, and concerns about staff conduct and student treatment are not taken seriously. I am sharing this review because I genuinely care about healthcare and the standards that must exist in medical education. Institutions like this shape future professionals. When leadership fails to protect a respectful and ethical learning environment, it directly impacts not only students, but the quality of care patients will eventually receive. This school urgently needs serious oversight, leadership accountability, and cultural reform.

My husband and I look forward to attending this well organized event each year and give Kudos to all that give of their time and talents to provide this amazing event for our community. The entertainment on stage was top notch! Lots of children and adults alike sharing their talents. The tents and tables are right in front of the stage and provided an excellent place to enjoy a delicious lunch. The food and beverage prices are reasonable.

I've been applying to their radiology technician program since 2021 and here we are in 2026. Not only did they change their requirements but now they are being transparent about how many applicants they receive which was around 1,100 applicants!!!!and only accept 55 students(lottery system)ONCE A YEAR. If I would've known that straight out of high school I would've gladly went to a private school and pulled a loan instead of wasting my time hoping to get accept at FC. SCCCD has so many campuses, but yet they have the whole entire state trying to apply to their programs at one campus. This district is allowing their students to waste money on their prerequisites knowing that their allied health programs are overfilled with applicants. Your chances of getting into a program are almost slim to none.

Considering National University for a Psy D? DO NOT DO IT. Formerly, the PsyD program was at JFK…read moreUniversity, acquired by National University, and then ran independently. Assured that JFK University would remain open and independent, they eventually closed JKF University, surrendered the APA accreditation, and began a "new" program under the National Unversity banner, naming the program The JFK School of Psychology at National University. After 3/4 of the faculty resigned and multiple staff promised to stay with the program, they too resigned. Several new, mostly adjunct faculty filled in some of the gaps yet the program remains understaffed, underfunded, and now, UNACCREDITED. The program is currently seeking accreditation and if granted by the APA, you will know the accreditation process is a sham. I won't even touch basis on the hypocritical curriculum, communication problems, lack of transparency, or the basic lack of a catalog describing the coursework required and the class content for the doctoral degree. You will be on your own. The JFK University financial aid department continues its ineptitude and arguably criminal conduct under the National University banner. Don't expect any information on your loans. Expect late loan disbursements while you accrue interest on money you haven't been given, 2+ weeks to respond to your email inquires, and expect NO CONTACT via phone with the financial aid department. LOOK ELSEWHERE FOR A PSYD program and AVOID THIS ONE AT ALL COSTS. You have been warned.

I'm a part of NU's BSN program. We are almost done, but wanted to write an overall experience…read morereview of the program for future students. 1. Scheduling. Have a job? Good luck not getting fired. They send out class schedules sometime the DAY before, so scheduling shifts (if they are anything like mine) is impossible. You WILL be calling out and if your job is strict on attendance. 2. Price. It's a private school so I never expected a cheap program. However, itemized billing is a little... shady. "Technology fees" "Nursing fees" etc... all random, un-detailed, charges for each class. If I had more insight as to what I was paying for, I wouldn't be concerned. They raised the price of tuition for 2023, at least I think that is was happened- we NEVER got a notice that this would happen, they just started charging more in monthly tuition in the new year. 3. Professors. In the BSN program, they are very hit & miss. Sometimes, you'll get one that truly wants you to succeed. Other times... they are there for the paycheck. 4. Class times/days. Look, as I mentioned, I get it's a private school. But... 6 hour classes on Sundays? In the morning? Really? What about those who attend church? School is more important? I guess it depends on who you ask. They go off of the professor's schedule, which is fine. But really? Sat/Sun classes are common & mess up a lot of your family & rest time. 5. Guidance counseling. Never heard of her. You are assigned one, but 9 times out of 10 they are from the san diego unit and will have no clue what you're talking about (concerning Fresno's program). 6. Support. Need to reach somebody? Maybe about your bill? Unless you are signing up for classes, expect a week's wait. 7. Hierarchy. There really isn't one. Lots of professors are leaving for many of the reasons above. They are short-staffed and are assigned to a class within a few days of it starting. I feel just as bad for them as I do for students. 8. Opportunities. As an NU student, you will NOT be able to get a job in the hospital as a nurse extern. You will need to enter as a PCT/CNA. I've done this for 3 years, so it's fine. However, externships are crazy beneficial to the schools around us and their students. it is a paid, hands-on, clinical day. You get way more experience doing this, but NU does not contract with any local hospitals (as of now). There are few volunteer opportunities and they only sign you up for the minimum clinical hours required by the BRN. Overall, there are many flaws to this program. I have learned a lot and have had great experiences. If you have the grades and TEAS score and get in, I wouldn't say it's bad enough you shouldn't accept the admission, but just be prepared for a lot of difficulties throughout your time with NU. Good luck future nurses :)!

There is no way that I can recommend the school nurse services credential program through this…read moreuniversity! Upon the enrollment of the program, I had to send in all my transcripts and official documents 3 times because every time I sent them, the program coordinators claimed they never received my transcripts and documents. I sent all of my official paperwork in via FedEx, so I know it was delivered and was even signed for by someone from their office! They claimed I was missing a transcript, so I directly sent them the transcript in question. In the meantime, I was put on the wait list to begin the program the next year. At this time, I was told by the program coordinators that they had too many applicants and not enough places available and that is why I was wait listed for the following year. Fast forward to the following year and the program coordinators are contacting me about the same transcript in question - they claimed that they did not have the transcript on file! So I had to re-order the transcript and have it directly sent to the program coordinators! This made the 5th time I had sent this transcript to them!!!!!! It was after I sent the transcript in question once again that I was told the reason I didn't get accepted to the program the year prior was due to this transcript missing from my file, yet I sent it to them!!!!!! I was lied to about my admission to the program! Once in the program, it was completely ridiculous! The professors/instructors could not even figure out how to use or operate a basic Zoom meeting and students were having to tell them what to click on and how to create the links, etc! The assignments were ridiculous. I was able to complete all the assignments and answer all the weekly discussion questions based on my own experiences - I never even had to open the "required" readings/texts that I was required to purchase! Thank goodness I purchased a used textbook, since I didn't even need it! The professors claimed that you had to submit all assignments in APA format, yet they didn't even know APA format! All the sample papers that the professors provided had completely incorrect APA formatting! For the clinical courses, you were required to meet via Zoom meeting with the professor. Well, as the student, you would think the meeting would be scheduled around your schedule (keep in mind all students were working from home full time and in this ridiculous program full time). Nope! Your meeting had to revolve around the professor's schedule. So my professor scheduled multiple student Zoom meetings per day and got all the zoom links confused. She sent me the wrong zoom meeting link and blamed it on her internet! A Zoom meeting that should have started at 10:00 AM didn't start until 10:35 AM! I would submit all assignments prior to the due date and was accused of not submitting them on time! I then had to argue with the professors and provide proof of timely submission. THIS is the level of incompetence with the professors of this program! Now, about graduation....what a complete joke! At any other state program for credentialing, you can walk in the commencement ceremony. I was denied the opportunity to participate in the commencement because I was not getting a degree. All in the name of COVID! This was NOT during the lockdown and was well after the reopening of nearly everything! So here I spent over $10,000 cash on a piece of paper from this program, constantly argued with incompetent professors for an entire year, only to be denied the opportunity to participate in their commencement ceremony when every other program in the state allows credential earners to walk in the ceremony! I called to inquire about walking in the ceremony and was told that all other departments were walking except mine! I asked to speak with someone about the reasoning and see if there were any other ceremonies. My information was taken and I was supposed to get a call back. To this day I have NEVER received a call back! Liars & Scammers! ZERO STARS!
