Mostly good experiences, but my puppy has been attacked. The dog park is large with a walking trail, which is nice. There is some waste in the parks, but the fault lies with the owners. There are nice benches and picnic tables to sit at, and water dishes with spouts for the pups to drink from. Overall a nice place to spend an hour or so with the furry babies.

You need to loop around on Mount Holly-Huntersville Road and then Bellhaven to get here. The park features a soccer pitch, two volleyball courts, two baseball fields and a fenced in dog park next to a playground. There are not enough dog parks in Charlotte so this is really nice to see. When I stopped in today, a team of ballplayers was hard at work in the batting cages. I watched them for a bit and then made my way through the very mushy field to the surprisingly clean restroom. First time visit to the playground, didn't look around anywhere else. Didn't see a bathroom close by the playground but that doesn't mean there isn't one. We really like the playground.
