I took home the two smell strips and decided I would go online now to order one from perfumania.com . I called the store to ask, which one of the Tommy Bahama colognes was on the display shelf that was light blue so I could order it from the website. The lady working at the Merrimack, NH Perfumania tonight 9/1 at 7:40pm said to me, "You were in the store today and didn't buy it?" I said no I had children with me so I am now on the perfumania website trying to purchase it. She said "Why did you not buy it when you were here then?" I said again, I was in a rush. She said "Sorry I can't help you if you didn't buy it in the store today." I again stated that I was on the website trying to purchase it. She said "I have customers in the store goodbye." I called her back and said may I please have your name, she said "No you can not have my name I have customer in my store." I said I would like your name so I can report this to corporate. She said "good call corporate" and hung up on me.

She helped me explore scents I never would've reached for on my own, and somehow still created something that felt so me. I ended up loving the experience so much that I literally came back the very next day with my best friend - and Kristy took incredible care of us. She was patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely excited to help us create something unique. The whole experience is a bang for your buck. You get high-quality ingredients, one-on-one attention, and you leave with a custom fragrance that feels so special. If you're in Boston and even thinking about making your own perfume, go here. It's fun, affordable, and such a cute memory to make with someone you love. I cannot recommend Ola Factory enough! Update: went back an extra last time before my flight out of Boston, got Betty again and it was like seeing an old friend. She's the best. Wish this concept would come to LA! It would be a hit. Make sure to make this your go to Boston activity!

It's soft, elegant, and somehow captures me in a bottle. The whole experience felt luxurious and thoughtful, and we left with signature scents that we can't stop raving about. The only downside? Newbury Street parking is not it--definitely try to Uber or take the T if you can. But honestly, it's worth the hassle. This is such a fun experience to do with friends or sisters, and Aretha made it unforgettable. Highly recommend

The best stop on your shopping tour! I had the pleasure of stopping by this unique store and…read morepurchased a wonderful men's cologne for myself. This place has hundreds of fragrances and hard to find men's and women's sundries. The proprietor is a quiet and nice man who was able to pinpoint the right product for me based on my request for something subtle. There have been a few unjustified bad reviews that I've read, and I have to blame the reviewers who are more likely the problem. Simply put, if you're going to shop retail, then purchase from retail. Don't walk in and try a bunch of fragrances then buy online to save a few bucks. Do the right thing by merchants that have rent to pay and operational expenses. Supporting local May cost a bit more but it worth it. Thank you sir for a great experience, I'll be back.

I asked whether I could test it and was told no. I have only smelled old bottles of Jicky -- I don't know what the current version smells like. Without trying, I couldn't decide whether to buy it, so I gave the perfume back and told him I'd think about it. They were selling it for $145, same as retail. I then had a walk around browsing the store. Once or twice I saw something I hadn't heard of and I took out my phone to Google it. I'm a bit socially awkward and I sometimes prefer to read about things online instead of bothering someone with questions. I went to the door and told the gentleman at the counter thanks and good bye. He said to me, "so I'm curious, were you just shop malling me or what?" I'd never heard that term and asked what he meant. He said, "You look at our boxes and then you look the prices up on your phone -- that's shop malling." I said that I was really mostly interested in the Guerlain perfume, and if they'd had a deal on it I would have taken it. But they didn't and plus, I'm not going to shell out $145 for a perfume if I can't try it. He said to me sarcastically, "Support local businesses, huh." I replied, "Well, I still might be back, you have some good stuff." And he said, "I won't hold my breath." It's not nice to be snippy with a customer who's just coming in to have a browse. And the "shop malling" accusation came out of nowhere too (just because I was walking around and looking at my phone?). The funny thing is, I would gladly pay retail price for something or even a bit more to support a local business run by nice folks -- keyword here is nice.

They also have other popular stores including Saks Fifth Avenue, Nike, and Boss. The outlets are the place to go for the best deals. For the negatives, the food court is pretty sad, it only has a coffee shop, a pizza restaurant, and chicken restaurant, and a small Indian restaurant. We got food from the chicken restaurant and it was disappointing. Also, it was a hot day and there's not too much shade besides going into the stores or the food court. Overall, I like the Wrentham Village Premium Outlets more in terms of their layout and larger store selection, but would recommend going here if you plan on making large purchases to save on the tax.

Overall this was a great shopping experience!
