I dont know why this Hobby Lobby in Weatherford does not seem to care about what type of employees…read morethey have walking around their store. Im talking about the very rude and/or abrasive employees. Like the two oldest women there. One has short grey hair and glasses and the other has brown hair and glasses. I've learned to stay Far Away from those 2 if I have a question..which is a disappointing feeling to always have when I go there. On top of that...now they have a young, new employee. Her name is Cheyanne. I was astounded at how she had treated me today while I was trying to look at the greeting cards. Her immediate rude, obnoxious attitude was beyond off putting when I quietly asked her if I could get through to look at the cards. She had a cart to one side, opposite of where I wanted to look..which was fine. But she had 2 small "light weight" plastic bins blocking the isle to the greeting cards. Her response was NOT to say, "oh sure, Im sorry" or "oh sure, let me move these out of your way". No. No...it was to not even look at me, then grab the 2 plastic bins that were blocking the isle and literally tossing them to the side in anger. I suspect the reason why she had the bins in the way, was because she didnt want anyone around her shopping...so she completely blocked off access to the greeting cards on one end. Which makes customers have to go all the way around to the other side, just to get access. All she had to do was keep the 2 small plastic bins on the same side as she was, so customers could get through..no problem. But obviously that was not what SHE wanted. It is really a shame that the Weatherford Hobby Lobby does not seem to want to put more effort into the state of employees that they hire there. This used to be a good store back in the day. But its just slowy but surely gone down hill. Yes, there are some very nice employees, but its the bad apples there that just turn you off to wanting to shop there at all.

This business supports local artists of all ages AND also goes above for animals needing rescue. Upon learning how devoted Kari and her team are to causes such as these, it only deepened my admiration and loyalty. John greeted us warmly and took quite a bit of time to discuss various options. After a very nice visit I left without any doubt that he'd do the job well and on time. 48 hours later when my phone rang, and 48 hours before I needed it, I cringed thinking something may have gone wrong. That wasn't the message at all, and an hour later I picked my finished piece up. It's gorgeous and will make a beautiful gift which I'm sure will become a family treasure. Though 8 years have passed since that review, I can assure that John is still very much a rockstar! I am blown away by the quality of work and ever grateful for the unbeatable customer service.

The owner was very kind and honest about fixing it. The feathers are organic and will need to regularly be reattached, but he said it was a relatively easy and quick thing to do. The owner explained very carefully what he could do, which was mount it on an appropriate backing, then gave us a very wide choice of frames (I think he said they have about 2000 to choose from). We picked the painting up today, and it looks better than when we bought it! It is smooth, the frame is perfect, both in construction and by setting off the painting to advantage. The service was timely, and considering what we brought in, and what we left with, the price was quite reasonable. There was even a correct-weight hanger enclosed. We could not be more pleased with the service, or the result. There is a mini-gallery of local artists on display, so this is a local business supporting local artists. If you care about your artwork, and something needs restoring or framing, I suggest you go to the Studio Gallery and see what they can do for you.
