Don't know if this had anything to do with the excellent Flowers, but I had emailed them that a different florist did me wrong one time. With that one I also ordered the medium shown in the picture. And, I think they thought since I was out of town I would never see the Flowers, but I did and they were tiny, like couldn't be any smaller. read more

I ordered a spray for the funeral service of my niece and nephew's father. It was really ugly. Didn't even have ribbon in it. I paid $388 for this arrangement. The flowers were not fresh. Called to tell someone about issues. Spoke to owner. She just justified the entire arrangement, basically telling me it was what it was. Would never use this florist again. I placed an order to send to a friend specifying the arrangement I wanted that was pictured on their website. What arrived was totally not what I ordered...tiger lilies and monstrous mums instead of sunflowers and roses. I called Frances Florist and found out that they had passed my order on to a florist who was closer to the delivery address. Frances Florist agreed that I didn't get what I paid for and personally drove the 45 minutes to my friend's home to deliver the correct arrangement. It was superb customer service. read more

If you want to receive awful customer service from a rude person when they made the mistake pick this place . I have never been so disappointed and disgusted by a company who is supposed to provide a service. Frances Florist you and your business are TRASH. The delivery driver decided to deliver wherever they wanted. How do you send bereavement flowers to the wrong address and yell at the customer who made the mistake. You get zero stars! There's never been anything missing or lacking or slighted. HORRIBLE! BUYER BEWARE MUST READ THIS! My family ordered a flower arrangement through Teleflora for the passing of my sister's daughter's on her 30th birthday (1st anniversary of her death this year at Christmas time). We chose her two favorite flowers to be in the arrangement and paid good morning for it. When my sister thanked me for the flowers, she sent a picture of flowers that were super duper cheap (we ended up with carnations in ours, too) and was nothing like what I asked for. Neither of my sister's daughters favorite flowers were in the arrangement. I called Teleflora who apologized profusely and assured us they would have the arrangement corrected at no cost. Guess what the florist did? THEY TOOK THE FLOWERS BACK! No replacement flowers, no note, just simply took the flowers back. Now that's really not the way I wanted to say Merry Christmas and sorry for your loss.... How hideously horrific of a florist to do. My sister was in tears already... really people? Completely heartless! Such a scam! (still spent money here) Let's just say Teleflora kicked them off their list... I hope 1800Flowers does too if they haven't already. These people are in the wrong business. Definitely not spreading celebration and condolences. I'm truly disgusted. I see in the review above we weren't alone here... I called Frances Florist on Wednesday to order flowers for a funeral the following day. The flowers were delivered promptly and were stunning. I had chosen a white cut flower arrangement in a vase. The vase was large and contained many white roses and white lilies. I was very pleased with the entire transaction and will call them again, should I need a florist in Douglasville. read more

DO NOT USE My husband purchased some flowers for my birthday. I can't figure out if they were a custom order or a bouquet on their site. I understand that some flowers are out of season etc. My complaint is not a substitution, but that when I called asking about the policy, mentioned a couple of droopy/brown spots the woman I spoke with became immediately defensive. She did offer to have the deliveryman come pick up the flowers and have them replaced. I said I wanted to speak with my husband first to see what he wanted to do as he had put a lot of thought into this. I never said the overall product was poor, only mentioned there were a few brown spots and wilting flowers. She began patronizing me explaining about not being able to always get exactly what is in the picture. When I mentioned that it was overstuffed with greenery she said that they put more flowers in than they should have. When I said that I said nothing about less flowers only that it was overstuffed with greenery she again mentioned the delivery driver and I again mentioned that I would like to talk it over with my husband. I said that I, however, would not be using them again and was told, "I hope you don't." If she had simply said, "Let me know after you talk to him, we'll be happy to fix it if that's what he decides," I would probably have simply told him to look at the bouquets from there first next time and kept the flowers. Now my husband is also angry for how I was treated and has requested a refund and won't be using them either. read more

For a cool $100, our parents were delivered a boxwood bush, chainsawed into the shape of a tree with 3 carnations and a box of candy canes. To top it off, when we complained to 1-800-FLOWERS, they came back and picked it up...no letter, no call, no kiss goodnight! Yikes...not long for this world obviously! DO NOT USE THIS FLORIST! If I could give them a 0 out of 5 stars I would. My mother ordered me a bouquet of white roses and lilies for my 30th birthday, I was delivered carnations and daisies. When we called to have it fixed they sent a delivery guy to pick up the old bouquet without so much as a warning he was coming and told me that they just cancelled my order since they didn't have the correct flowers to make it right. But yet didn't mention that when the order was placed. When I called and spoke to Cindy who claims to own this cluster of a business she repeatedly raised her voice, interrupted me and acted completely unprofessional. I've never in my life been treated that way as a buying customer. When I reminded her I was a paying customer she said "no you're not your mom in Ohio is." I had to remind her that I am LOCAL TO HER as she is delivering them to me. The delivery guy wouldn't leave my porch until I gave him my flowers. AWFUL!!!!! My Daughter's Seventeenth Birthday- her Dad sent her flowers. My daughter's name was misspelled, the mistake making it a boy's name. The balloon that was chosen by the florist said, "Happy BIrthday to a Real Classic" and was not something you would give a 17 year old girl at all. My daughter will not be home until late tonight and I asked if the florist could bring a correctly spelled card and a more appropriate balloon. He said he would TOMORROW!!!!! Probably the WORST customer service I've ever had. They delivered flowers once and the died over night even though we gave them water, then they replaced it with a bouquet half the size. I called her and she started yelling at me. I'm not one to normally complain but my boyfriend is stationed far and those flowers were SO important to me. She hung up on me and left me in tears she was so rude on the phone. Crappy business and they don't care about you. Making sure none of my friends use them. read more
