She had very poor bedside manner during the handful of times I had to interact with her. She told me I needed one crown when I went for my cleaning appointment. When I showed up for my crown appointment, they took more X-rays and then she told me I needed an additional crown. She pushed me to get the second one and didn't explain to me why I needed a second crown. She made me make the decision immediately, and it felt as though I was being tricked into spending more money at this office since this was not brought up at my cleaning appointment. She was extremely rough with me while she was working on my teeth to fit the crowns. She also scolded me for my flossing habits, saying I wasn't doing it enough and patronized me after I explained I do floss every night with floss picks. I have been seeing Dr. Kind for years and she is an amazing dentist, which is why I am sad to be writing this review for her dental office. However, I am very disappointed and frustrated with the care I received from Dr. Shroff at Kind Dentistry. I will not be returning to this dental office.

However, Dr. Boston has relocated to another practice in a nearby town, and my last visit was not as pleasant when I visited with one of his replacements. The doctor injected me with far more Novacaine than was necessary for a simple replacement filling, then left me in the chair for over 30 minutes. I started to have difficulty breathing, swallowing, and couldn't even close my eyes, and was very frightened. No one came to check on me. It's my understanding that Dr. Boston will again be spending some time in the coming year at the Racine location. I will return, but only to be seen by Dr. Boston.

He referred me to a surgeon, contacted them for me and had an appointment the next day. During every appointment, Dr. Tache explained EVERYTHING to me, answered all my questions, cares, and concerns. He insisted that there was no such thing as a 'dumb question.' He even called me at home on two occasions to check on both my physical and mental state. He listened to everything I had to say. I was honest with him (re: things I was/would do and those I wouldn't). If there was any leeway, he'd go with it. However, if it was a non-negotiable, he made that perfectly clear! He is VERY knowledgeable and has many contacts. I have referred him many times. My strongest referral - my daughter. She had a TMJ concern and I told her there was only one option - Dr. Tache. I insisted that the hour+ drive to see him was well worth it. I informed Dr. Tache that I was sending my daughter to him and to take as good care of her as he did with me. And he did! He even went as far as referring her to specialists out of state as she was soon heading to grad school. Dr. Tache's office worked with her short timeframe before leaving for grad school and all worked out. I never thought I'd say I had a wonderful dental experience - but I did and continue to. I was so optimistic that Spring Dental would be the right choice for my dental provider. They told…read moreme my insurance would be used to cover many of my appointments to keep my co-pay low. Over and over again, I received poor service and false information. During my first appointment, it was recommended I get impressions and a dental mouth guard to prevent my teeth from grinding. I went in for impressions early in the morning, and was told the guard would be ready in a few short weeks. I was then contacted saying "The impressions weren't strong enough; we need you to come back and get them again." I understand these things happen, so I told my job I had to miss an hour of work the next day, and got the impressions again. When I left, they told me the bill was $796.00. I asked if this was what was owed before or after insurance. They told me if I paid 50% of the bill, they would contact my insurance and follow up with me to settle the rest. Not only was I never contacted (and I'm assuming neither was my insurance provider), but I was sent multiple letters each month during the holiday season telling me I needed to pay the remaining $398.00. When I went in to ask/settle the balance, they told me I had to pay interest. Keep in mind, they never honored what they told me about my insurance covering the cost, that they would contact my insurance, or that they would follow up with me. I caution anyone from trusting Spring Dental as I did. It was worth it to me to end my services with them just a few months after starting due to their dishonesty.

Then I found a new dentist and went to have those expensive X-rays that I had paid for sent to the new dentist. Only one panorama X-ray was sent. I had to have all new X-rays done and my over 200.00 was completely wasted!
