His response was : Does she look like you.. I took that as an insult and didn't continue discussion. Atty Volman on his own went to the opposing counsel questioning wife's fidelity and that I wasn't the father of my daughter. Extent of his style - Opposing side sent their proposed settlement and I was told to look at it, mark up changes and he'd fax it over. No written objections nor typed out counter proposal. Lastly, after severe frustration, I had to change lawyers - Atty Volman now refuses to give me a copy of my entire file. In fact, he said that if I ever come to his office I will be ARRESTED. . I am confused, if I am charged for over $13k in legal fees shouldn't I be privy to my entire file..?
