I couldn't even sleep because it was so itchy, painful, and stinging all over my face and neck. Got misdiagnosed by another dermatologist and I came for a second opinion. He checked my skin with a bright light and confirmed it was a bacterial infection. Seriously thought I wouldn't ever recover... Dr. Oliver is so patient and answered all my questions. He even told me to not worry about my skin. Just take the med/ointments as he said and relax, leave the worrying to him because that's what he does. Within 2 days of taking the oral med, my swelling was all gone. After 4 days of both oral and tropical med, the redness on my face was gone! Seeing a specialist always worries me because they can get very expensive but I am SO THANKFUL that I found Dr. Oliver. His pricing was very reasonable as I pay out of pocket and his office visit price covered the ointments/oral med he prescribed for me. Really appreciate that. I actually just visited Dr. Oliver for a follow up appointment today. Again, he was super patient and answered everything I asked!! Did not feel rushed at all. Was hoping he clears me from the prescribed meds but he suggests to continue for another week just to make sure everything is cleared completely. Still dealing with some lingering dryness and tightness. Hope that go away soon. Cassandra the receptionist was super sweet and helpful as well! They offer water or tea while you wait. If you are dealing with a skin issue, I highly recommend Dr. Oliver and his team.

The reason for that is because I really liked my provider, Danielle Daravos. She was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, this review is not about her whatsoever. She is amazing and I'm sad that I will no longer be seeing her as she helped clear my acne a lot. However, CSI is absolutely horrible. The front desk receptionist are the rudest, most unhelpful and unpleasant people to talk to. There has always been a history of CSI having had communication but recently it has gotten worse as they have implemented AI into their phone answering system. I mean if you couldn't reach anyone before, GOOD LUCK to you now. I was calling to reschedule my 3 month check in and called 3 different office probably 5 times each over the span of 2-3 days and FINALLY good heavens I reached someone just to be put on hold! I had already decided that due to such horrible communication and horrific front desk staff that my time here was over. I'll be moving on to a dermatology office that is better equipped. While I think the doctors and PA's here are great and my negative review (at least for me) is not a reflection of their care, the hassle of trying to reach someone helpful is really not worth going here. There's other doctors and PA's at other offices that do tremendously better. PS if you want to skip the AI agent say "transfer me" and it will automatically transfer you.

Yes, even knowing skin cancer was involved this dermatology office blew me off !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not only did I never get called back from voice mail but I never got a call back from that text which is what they seem to prefer! I waited a week and called again. A few years ago I added Botox. Dr G was my first experience with Botox and she's wonderful. In the beginning she listened closely to what I wanted (to remove the ever deepening line between my eye brows) and she explained that to get a natural look involves considering how all the muscles move together. She tried different injection locations, asked how I liked it at my next visit, and adjusted based on my feedback. Now, when I come in she ensures I want the same constellation of injections and works off her recorded "map" of my face. Dr G is very good at Botox! The results are wonderful and she always reminds me of how to care for it (for example, no exercise that raises my heart beat for 24 hours). Dr G is also wonderful with patients. She's friendly, calm, patient, professional and very gentle with the injections. There's been no bruising. Her goal is to ensure you're satisfied and happy. In a 12‑minute appointment, they managed to squeeze out an office copay, then quietly sent another bill weeks later for a so‑called "treatment" that lasted maybe three seconds. My insurance was hit with more than $800 for that single visit. Then the provider told me to come back in two weeks--only to repeat the exact same thing: another ~$800 charge, another useless appointment, and still no proper treatment. The billing department clearly pushes every code they can get away with, and they do it aggressively. It's predatory, plain and simple. It's no surprise you can walk in here same‑day while every reputable dermatology clinic in the area has a long waitlist. People catch on fast when a practice prioritizes billing over care. I had to go elsewhere to finally get real medical attention from a dermatologist who didn't treat patients like billing opportunities. If you value your skin, your wallet, or your sanity, avoid Schweiger. They've turned dermatology into a cash‑grab machine, and patients are the ones paying the price.

I scheduled a 3pm with Susan Wang, NP since she was wide open and it worked for my schedule. I get a call from this practice the day before that Nurse Susan won't be available in the afternoon and I can come either 9am or 11am. Note they didn't cancel my appointment immediately when they called which leads me to believe Nurse Susan didn't have any other appointments and wanted to leave early for the day. I called and left a message that I suppose I'll have to cancel the appointment since I can't come at 9am or 11am the following morning. They then proceeded to cancel my appointment after this message. So if I didn't call back to cancel it, she would have seen me? Regardless, it's a crappy way to do business. Why bother having appointment slots if you want to leave early and try to cancel them? Way to treat your patients. Listen, I get emergencies happen and I would have gladly cancelled my appointment or if she and the office just owned up to wanting to leave the day early rather than lying to me. Won't be coming to this practice.

Since these peptides are not FDA-approved yet, I decided to purchase from a medical clinic to avoid getting something intended for research use only. I called the day before my appointment and specifically requested to see the vial before it was prepared into syringes. When I met with the doctor, she simply said no, turned around, and then told me she could not work with me because I did not trust her. There was no discussion or explanation. I found her reaction dismissive and extremely rude. If my request was unacceptable, they could have told me when I called and saved me an hour of driving. Given the concerns surrounding non-FDA-approved peptides, I believe politely requesting to see the product (label) of what I am purchasing is reasonable. The doctor's reaction only made me more concerned about the source of what they are selling. It is totally fine that the dr wants to hide what they are selling. What makes me upset is wasting an hour driving in for this unpleasant experience.

Luckily, I can (sort of) afford this kind of character flaw since I am a healthy pig. However, even we piggies sometimes need to pay attention when the message is flashing that says, "Are you in the running for the Stupidity on a Monument Medal?" How can a visit to any medical practice be perfect? A question that up until now has been answered with; it can't. Wrong! Or as my wonderful wife would add, "As usual!" From the initial phone contact making the appointment, through the beginning of the visit, through the examination and then the resolution to my problem, it was...well perfect. Friendly, efficient front office and the very warmest, extraordinarily competent, open and relaxing practitioner of Dermatology that you could possible want. My words to Dr. Jacobson on my way out were, "I hope that all my future visits to the world of medicine could be just like this!" I can't really tell you how much I meant it. I switched insurance and wasn't too pleased with my last dermatologist, so I thought Id find a new doctor. She had great reviews on Yelp so I gave it a shot. The whole visit was her checking my skin and writing an Rx. I have Anthem and knew my plan requires me to pay half of the total cost of the visit. I was expecting to be paying less than $100. I got the actual bill, which looked nothing like what I had in my head. Total charges were $380, which means I have to pay $178.74; half still seems like way too much just to be looked at. I called the doctors office to discuss my bill to figure out why it was so high. The receptionist told me that Sutter doctors charge $300+ for an initial visit. I really wish I had known that going into the appointment, otherwise I would have found another doctor. I will not be seeing any doctor affiliated with Sutter in the future. If you have insurance that will cover the whole visit, I would recommend her, otherwise if youre paying out of pocket or have to pay for some of your visit, go somewhere else.
