I would like to express my dissatisfaction against dr Shelia Albuquerque she was rude and racist…read morethe first thing she stated was if I knew there were 2 other rheumatologist that speak Spanish at 2 other locations. She seemed upset that I didn't speak English I felt discriminated. I wasted my money seeing this dr. I was referred to her by my pcp Benito Marrufo. She was rude and condescending she advised me I needed to stop seeing different doctors as they cannot take my pain away. She refused care and wasn't open to listening or even checking out the issues I am experiencing. She immediately blamed it on spine issues and dismissing me to go see a spine specialist basically advising me that I was referred to the wrong dr and she couldn't help me

I was told that I had to show up to appointment and see if they can set a plan for me. I showed up to appointment and according to the front person the dr said I was not in an emergency care so she couldn't help me. this is without seeing me in her office. She has only, I assume seen my labs since this was my first appointment with her. Now if I made an appointment to see her it means that I have lab results that show my body is fighting an autoimmune illness and Do need to be seen by her. Dr. Albuquerque is not a caring doctor and does not hesitate to turn away a person fighting for her life. Unreal! Don't go to Kelsey-Seybold Main Campus to see this lady. She doesn't care!!

Ready for relief. In…read moreprevious posts, started seeing Dr Vo after my insurance broke up with Kelsey Seybold where my original rheumatologist was and he recommended Dr Vo. I wanted someone similar to her and he nailed it. The thing that I like most is that she listens to my concerns, understands my hesitancy on taking too many meds and also address other concerns that aren't necessary pSA related in medical care. She's given me lots of suggestions on things to do to help with weight loss as well as information on other health issues I had questions on. I also saw her PA Kelsey in the interim of visits with Dr Vo and thoroughly enjoyed her professionalism and care and concern. There is nothing more heartwarming than doctors who make a personal connection and make you feel more than a number. My pSa has been mostly manageable through medication. When I have had a major flare up that caused an ER visit or emergency, Dr Vo has responded quickly. I had a bad episode that cause me to go to the ER and they did not provide relief. I left a message at 7 am on a Sunday (Mother's Day) detailing my night and Dr Vo called me back within 20 min, and prescribed me something and scheduled an appt for Tuesday. She followed up by calling me on Monday and Tuesday. The office staff is nice. Sometimes they drop the ball but are quick to fix the situation. And the new office is less stressful as far as not being in the med center and fighting to find parking etc. and it's newer. Def plan on seeing her for as long as she is around!

Dr. Gibson…read morewas one of my last hopes to get help for my autoimmune issues only to be told I don't have any, sent a letter to my current doctor lying about a mood disorder that I have NEVER been diagnosed with. Thanks to her negligence and unprofessional conduct, I will most likely be looking for an attorney after this. She also falsifies things on her after care summary's stating she performs exams that she doesn't. She put down another treating physician of mine who has been practicing for over 35 years calling her the "hormone doctor" which is not her title at all! She told me the medication I was taking was not used for rheumatology conditions even though it is clearly stated to do so and my blood work shows it has had tremendous effects. We should have walked out when I told her I wanted a more natural alternative treatment and she said I just prescribe medications. She basically smiled while making snarky comments then basically said if I didn't have pics or biopsies of all of it then it's not an issue. Who the heck takes a pic of every mouth sore, face rash, and body rash? Not many! I told her I was in a lot of pain and she shrugged that off too. Thank God I see a pain management specialist who would never ever treat a patient that way. This is the absolute WORST I've ever been treated by a rheumatologist in my life. Please book somewhere else or you'll spend your afternoon in tears like I did after basically being called a liar behind my back in a letter to my primary care doctor. Her staff was very nice to me at least! I wish I would've read some of the other bad reviews before booking here but her having a TON of openings should have been my first red flag in the whole process. Don't walk away from here, RUN!

She always recommended the very best specialists; when I explained my personal issues, she recommended a rheumatologist, Dr Susan Mathew. She said you could have the ease and accessibility of all your records in one place, and the ability to have testing done at one of their two locations, and that was perfect for me. I was extremely impressed at my first visit with Dr Mathew. She listened intently to all my issues, my family history and was very patient. She was extremely thorough, as I was have suffered multiple issues, including Breast and Anal cancer, long-term Gastrointestinal issues, Back, knee and foot pain. I would never have linked my complex symptoms together into a single diagnosis. Dr. Mathew ran all the necessary bloodwork and looked at genetic markers, etc to find the reason why I was dealing with long standing complex problems. I am a long time veterinary nurse, but when we discussed my symptoms, she explained everything and gave me a diagnosis that is not widely known. I would never have correlated all these issues into a single diagnosis. We have tried different medications, but Dr Mathew always listens to my issues, then makes suggestions and adjustments accordingly, which I greatly appreciate. One of my coworkers began to suffer with similar issues, and I recommended Dr Matthew to her. She was equally pleased, after her diagnostic testing and remains a patient as well. Not only is Dr Mathew an exceptional diagnostician, her staff is always very friendly and very helpful. I am extremely appreciative of Dr Mathew's knowledge, skill and professionalism.

She discussed my health history and explored the symptoms that I've been experiencing, ultimately offering multiple alternatives for ways to address my health issues. Her nurse and medical receptionist are delightful as well.

My appointment felt rushed and I was spoken over multiple times. I then requested a note for my employer to explain my diagnosis and was presented with a note written by another teenager working in the office. The note was all but 2 sentences, had SEVERAL grammatical errors, spacing issues and even spelled the doctor's last name incorrectly. After holding the teenager's hand I was able to receive a professional and believable note. Fast forward, 6 months later, I apparently have a check up with no reminders, so I login to take this call to avoid any fees for a no-show. Talk to the doctor again. Same experiences as before with a lack of true bed side manner-- talking over me & not understanding my request for a revised note for my employer to request accommodations. This time I receive a call and the doctor wants $25 for a doctor note. Who charges for a doctor note after receiving hundreds for an appointment? Unheard of. Let alone charging for a note that will look like a third grader wrote it at home.

I found Dr. Odetunde online and called for an appointment. The secretary wasn't the friendliest, but she was still definitely nice. To my surprise, Dr. Odetunde was available for basically any time slot I wanted. At first, this worried me a little bit. After all, shouldn't a good doctor have a lot of other patients to see? I chalked it up as luck and scheduled an appointment for the next morning. The office is located right off of 610, just west of the Bennigan's and Ford dealership (right around Fannin I think?), in one of those huge office buildings. I didn't wait long at all, and Dr. Odetunde ended up being one of the nicest doctors I've ever met. She immediately figured out my problem (spasms) and sent me off with a couple of prescriptions and an x-ray order. After this visit, I saw her again for some sleeping problems and some injuries I got in a car accident. She remembers her patients and is very knowledgeable.
