Very good coffee with a chicken salad sandwich on soft marbled bread (though I got the last one and they were out of everything besides ham after I left), served with a pickle and five bean salad that didn't taste out of a can for $5.25! They had Perrier, pastries, and French sparkling pear juice. Smoothies look really good, too--would be great for breakfast. Free WiFi, outdoor seating with ample potted plants, instrumental ambient music ranging from orchestral to world, exposed brick and multicolored walls. Such a pretty and warm coffee shop! I've never had slow service while stopping in. Only thing I wish was that they had a drive thru, but sometimes it's a sign to stop in and take a minute. read more

Stopped in today while in town. Great place and friendly owner. Had a iced espresso. There is a full menu of coffee/ espresso drinks and some treats. I had a brownie along with the coffee and it was good too. Highly recommended! read more

Yum! I stopped by here because I didn't have the time to stop at my local Coffee Dive and I'm so glad I did. I ordered a Frappe and it's delicious. It has a smooth buttery flavor that's unbeatable. The baritsa was friendly and thorough. I'm just sad it's so far home. read more

Stopped in with my daughter after we had went ran a few errrands. I had always wanted to try this pllace but wasn't sure where it was so I checked yelp. We almost missed it there wasn't an open sign but the building was really neat and my kind of place. We came in and asked what the best recommendation was and then tried chicken salad, white mochas, and cupcakes. Everything was great. We will definitely go back. I came back from my Yelp hiatus for this place, they deserve it too. Being from Chicago I admit to being a bit of a prima donna when it comes to coffee shops. I am all spoiled with my free wifi, espresso and 52 options for flavors, milks, toppings. This place is everything I hoped it would be. Great coffee, great service, great pastries, free wifi and good music too. Lots of seating and great couch area to chill out on too. Well...its been a year since I've been here...and my second is it was as disappointing as the last time. A repeat of the marble disaster was in the cards. I strongly urge owners of coffee shops to familiarize themselves with basic drink making skills before opening. Marble OR any macchiato are not made with syrup sludge, left to sit in the bottom of the glass. They are carefully crafted drinks. I suppose I could carry a laminated index card with step by step instructions. The people seem Friendly...the store looks like a coffee shop. If I am paying Starbucks prices for drinks like Starbucks.....then I expect to get exactly what I pay for....like Starbucks. read more

I made my third visit in a year to this little place today. No complaints. Coffee was good. Service was quick. Overall a fine experience.

I saw all the great reviews and stopped in on our trip. I was honestly not as impressed with the paintings on the walls and in the bathrooms, my preteen daughter was a little embarrassed. In an area with very few coffee options, Francisco de Borga is an oasis. Lots of cushy chairs for sitting with a friend or a book and tons of flavored coffee options. I like my coffee black with a touch of cream, because unlike some I like to taste my coffee. When I see a menu full of cute names for coffees full of syrup and sugar I grow a little apprehensive. Great little coffee shop. We also had lunch; sandwiches (chicken salad and ham & Swiss) were pretty ordinary as was the potato salad, but the coffee was excellent. Just one person was behind the counter, so service was leisurely even though there were only four people in line. He was friendly and offered advice on what to order. I am from the Chicago land area as well. This coffee house could compete very well with those in the big city. The atmosphere is warm and cozy. As for the menu, I found nothing I did not like! Kudos to Jeff and Rob, I would like to think them for this coffee experience in SW Indiana. read more

I've been to this coffee shop several times, not because I'm a big fan of coffee, but because it is a great place to meet friends and just hang out and talk. They offer a nice variety of hot and cold beverages and a light lunch menu. The staff is friendly and have always made me feel like it was okay for me to sit and talk for a couple of hours with my friends. The decor is artsy and interesting. The only reason I give it 4 stars and not 5 is because the food is just good and not awesome. read more
