Pizza - a little messy, cold and burnt but still tastes good overall.

Ordered this twice. Both times it arrived semi cold/warm. Second time the delivery guy pulled it out of the bag sideways and when I got it upstairs half the pizza was folded over. And cold. Otherwise, I think it's delicious and that's why I ordered it twice. They are also very speedy with delivery. So it really doesn't make sense that it's cold but that's what happened. Their prices are reasonable.

I had the number four, with house-made mozzarella and ricotta, sweet ham, and just a touch of red sauce in the middle. The house cider was described as medium dry on the menu, and that was accurate. It was too dry to my liking, but still drinkable. My husband had a seasonal special with British meat, including Yorkshire Dales sausage. He thought it was good but he prefers a different, thicker kind of crust. I actually loved the crust because a could taste the complexity from its slow ferment and I didn't mind using a fork and knife where it was thin in the middle. Service was so-so. The place was really busy. Our table for four ended up with another couple stuck at the end, which felt weird with their close proximity. Our server for some reason paid them more attention than us; we were kept wanting for drinks and felt invisible when we needed the check. I hadn't been aware that this was a chain and we kept seeing them around the UK after out visit here, and we never felt the urge to visit another location.

What a lovely spot to stumble upon! I went looking for gluten free pasta and found it here easily…read more I was seated right away and was able to connect to their WiFi, which worked great. They had a lunch special when I went and it was very well priced. I got the caprese as my salad and the pistachio pasta as my main, with gluten free pasta. The gluten free was amazing! Really good texture and the pistachio cream was just perfect. They gave me a lot of Parmesan, which made the dish just perfect. They have gluten free pizza too which I hope to try someday. The service was very kind and I enjoyed the ambiance and aesthetic of the restaurant. Everything was simple but flavorful. Even the olive oil on the caprese was super rich and amazing.

Lunch menu is a great deal but unfortunately I didn't think the food was very good. For £14…read moreincluding service you get two courses. The menu has three options for apps and I think seven for mains (3 pizzas and the rest are pastas). I opted for the caprese and the lasagna al Forno. The caprese was nice enough although non traditional with olives and sun dried tomatoes included. I thought the olive oil and balsamic could have been better quality and the mozzarella was weirdly cold, almost like it had been frozen and thawed. The lasagna was lacking in flavor although the pasta was cooked well. It was a good sized portion as well. Service was quick but not rushed. The place is bigger than it looks from the outside. Washrooms were okay although located downstairs in kinda a dodgy setting.

Best place by far in London for food and some entertainment. Try the mushrooms and breadsticks!!read more

Arriving back at my hotel late after watching City take on Spurs at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium,…read moreI ordered delivery from Ciro's Pizza Pomodoro with them being only one of three suitable locations I could order from on UberEATS, who satisfy a gluten-free diet and with rival pizza chains including Domino's closed (Interesting how they close really early in London?), I decided to try it out today after being impressed by the gluten-free selection, reasonable prices (Margherita pizza £8.95 with extra toppings for £1.70), and even a fun celebrity-themed menu, for example, the "Tom Cruise favourite" was fresh tomato sauce with tuna, anchovies, olives, capers and onions with a touch of garlic for £14.95. Moving back to my experience - I ordered a gluten free margarita with pepperoni which came to £10.70 in total, overall for a gluten-free delivered pizza this is really good value with Domino's charging almost double for a similar pizza, and Pizza Hut has a lower cost per base but this is ruled irrelevant as you have to spend more to get the delivery. The pizza was decent quality, it is often hard to find good quality food late at night, especially which delivers and that is shown by the fact I had the choice between three restaurants and my hotel room service. In most parts the pizza base was seasoned well, it was doughy at times but overall the base and its' toppings were great quality. I also liked how the restauraunt established their brand and many parts of my order taken thought and care, they noticed I was in a hotel and attached cutterly and rather cool branded napkins, using initiative which is smart, cool and awesome. Improvements such as increasing the range of sides to go with the gluten-free pizza, and making sure the base is good throughout, rather than being doughy at times should be made, but I was really impressed by Ciro's Pizza Pomodoro to the point where I feel they've done enough to warrant a four-star rating due to very good standards of competitive pricing, food and service.
