Paccheri a Core e Mamma 8.73/10- this pasta had mushrooms, Italian sausage, pecorino cheese and truffle oil. Absolutely delicious but incredibly filling, I wish that the Italian sausage had a stronger taste in the pasta as I think the cheese and truffle oil made the sausage flavor underwhelming. Very fresh! Also is a rooftop terrace overlooking the city which is super cute making the atmosphere great

We found this place because my sister had heard about them on Gwyneth Paltrow's blog. It wasn't to far from the Saatchi Gallery and we were all really hungry. The food here was great! The pasta was handmade and everything was freshly made. I had the Pappardelle, Italian sausage and mushrooms. £13.50. It was really good and filling, the combination of mushrooms with Italian sausage was delicious If you find yourself in London with a craving for Italian food, this place is definitely worth trying.

Great food with quick service. My group had a great time dining on their garden-like balcony.

My niece and I made reservations online for dinner in a week night and glad we did because when we arrived they were very busy but had our table waiting for us. We ordered the bruschetta as our starter and the meatball dish Truffly pizza and both were amazing. The staff was very friendly and offered to hold our coats while we dined. The staff was always accommodating and checking on us to see if we needed anything like more drinks, bread, olive oil and vinegar. The ambience was really cozy and comfortable and we had a wonderful experience I highly recommend this place and would come back again. For dessert we had the tiramisu and it was moist and delicious. Great place!

BEST PIZZA!! This is cute Italian place. I came with my sister and a friend. We made a reservation so as soon as we arrived we were shown to our table. We ordered the Ortolana pizza. Most delicious pizza I have ever had in my life. The combination of mozzarella, mushrooms, tomato, and pesto was delicious. Must try place if you are visiting the area. This is a perfect place for a dinner with family, friends, or a date. Will definitely revisit this restaurant in the future.

Busy, bustling, and brimming with authenticity... this is a great Italian restaurant as much for its food as for its liveliness. You can get pizzas that are multiple feet long for a group to share (don't worry, they can have different sections topping-wise, so you're not all stuck with the same kind)... they come straight out of their wood fire oven and are brought to the table on a massive wooden board - just the sight of it is a distinctive culinary experience. Usually, though, I get a smaller pizza - say, a couple feet long, when I'm not with a group who can polish off the six-feet version... and I'm equally happy with it. The servers here are friendly, very Italian... although also very *slow*... ask them to bring you olives right away, 'cause if you're not hungry when you first get there... you probably will be before your food arrives. I'm a little conflicted about this place in terms of eco-ethics.... the "made in Italy" moniker stems from the fact that they import *everything* in from Italia... even the cheese is flown in twice a week. Which is lovely in its faithfulness to homegrown Italian ingredients... but I find the reality of the carbon footprint increasingly hard to swallow.

However, I need to warn my fellow Yelpers to stay away from Oliveto if you value Good Pizza! I mean, how hard is it to have good pizza!?! It is a simple staple which I have enjoyed in the US, in China and yes even in Italy. At it's most basic, it should be dough, sauce (doesn't have to be tomato necessarily), mozzarella and maybe some toppings, right? Here is where Oliveto went wrong for my mother and me: 1) they use cheap cheddar cheese - not mozzarella! 2) not a lot of sauce, maybe just enough to color it 3) the dough was soggy and didn't rise (I actually like thin crust, but this was inferior doug and 4) topping that were not as advertised, i.e. prosciutto should not look like and taste like store-bought sliced ham! Service was okay - the men like to talk about customers in their native tongue, thinking that patrons don't know what they are saying about them. We were so glad that we split a pie - most tables got a pie per person. Neither of us could finish this "pizza" honestly. Perhaps the only redeeming thing are the prices - this might be the cheapest choice in an otherwise expensive neighborhood.

It's a quaint little Italian spot in the heart of London and it's a wonderful place to spend, especially at night. We ordered the Spaghetti alla Carbonara, the Strozzapreti Boscaiola, and a Bellini and Mimosa to go with our dinner. The food took just a little while to get here but I was sure that it was because they were taking their care with every dish the chefs made. I was right. The pasta was fresh, the sauce and the ingredients tasted very simple and hearty. It all tasted like my hypothetical imaginary nonna made it. The drinks were very good too and complimented the food nicely. Our waiter was absolutely the nicest guy ever. He was very attentive and made sure that we were happy with everything. In my head, I was going to tip him well, and then when we got the check, there was no option to tip. God save the UK. America could learn a thing or two about what it means to not make life all about work. That's beside the point. If you're in London, visit Bon Gusto. I tried a special pasta with pecorino, butternut squash, and mushrooms which was nice and not heavy but not partial flavorful. 3 - the ambiance is great if you like a small restaurant- with maybe 10 tables and 500 sq ft of space, this restaurant has character and charm. 4 - the service was outstanding.
