Things were blown around. But he consistently denied all of this and finally claimed he would require a video while the damage was being done to consider it his responsibility. Naturally this would be impossible. The final straw was the fall cleanup, when his leaf blowers were so reckless that they pulled a section of fencing out of the ground, which they did fix. But they also ripped off part of a woodpile protector, which resulted in some expense of parts and labor to fix. The torn piece was lying in a nearby bush. Once again, no one informed the owner; even when Richard was texted pictures of all this, and told of their expense, they were ignored. Finally the workers blew away all the garden equipment and supplies that were neatly stored on an outdoor garden station, scattering everything onto the yard and under the deck. IMuch of it was too low for an aging owner to retrieve, so again more expense was involved. But he denied this too and refused to compensate for any of it in his final billing. Unfortunately it seems Richard became more unprofessional and uncaring as he grew his business, focusing on larger projects while treating his original (and very patient) clients terribly.
