I made a request for an appointment online, received a call back promptly. When I called for an appointment I was told no appointments available. Okay no worries. Then ten days later I get another call asking to call for an appointment. Called and told that I would have to be placed on a waiting list. The previous clerk told me incorrectly. Waiting list specifics, no end in sight. No idea if it could take years to see a therapist . Her attitude was so sad too bad for you. No wonder our mental health system is in a sad state.

Within 24 hours of his admission, his new psychiatrist called us and we were on the phone for over an hour. She really cared and with all the professionals, our family and our new son we made a plan for his treatment and meds. And it's working!!!! He's been home several weeks now and he's really changing for the better!! They've even called several times to check on all of us. If it wasn't for Cedar Crest, our son would be in the correctional system. It was our only other choice for his safety and ours. Thank you for saving our family!!

After two appointments, they cancelled my appointments because I have to have a referral from the VA. I previously asked if I needed to do anything special to get seen here the answer was no. Come to find out, after a phone call with the VA, I need to have a referral for community care. I started that process and Informed them I was waiting on a referral now. The next day, my appointment that was months away, was canceled. I had been waiting to get my medication, that I desperately needed, and had canceled the appointment I was previously seeing with my VA psychiatrist. Now, I'm without medication until October or someone hopefully cancels with the VA.
