I called this practice because it was one of the few open, and was directed to email photos so Dr. Engel could take a look. He called within 10 minutes and talked me off the ledge. He calmly explained the trauma in detail and advised that while nothing could be done immediately because the teeth and gum must heal first, our toddler should have an in-person exam in one week's time. I greatly appreciated Dr. Engel asking questions that showed his expertise and compassion, and for taking his time to reassure this upset parent. Dr. Chin takes her time first, talks to the kids and makes sure they are comfortable before starting her assessment. The assistant which was…read moreprobably paid by commission and tried to hustle us into thinking my son needed braces, she claimed his teeth would be terrible and pointed to a few X-rays and how bad the teeth would be, they wanted to refer us to her husband who was conveniently an orthodontist, luckily we got a second opinion and today at the age of 14 without any braces his teeth look great. When someone wants to sell you something, regardless if it is for medical reasons or not take a step back and think if it is really necessary and get a second and third opinion and use common sense.

Got second opinion, who explained that it looks like a drill divot. The office is clean and has shiny modern equipment. Wait time is non-existent.
